okay, yeah, no, candy is definitely hyunjin.

i literally almost dropped my phone during chapter 17 because i thought it was seungmin at first, but then i realized that hyunjin said he lost his phone. also, that little detail about heartful arts 👀 and then ofc, i read chapter 18 where hyunjin said seungmin gave hyunjin his phone back.

of course, there's always a possibility all of this is a red herring and that i have thoroughly fallen for the trick, but let's not think about that 😀

something about felix getting into hyunjin's phone makes me nervous, though. if he went through his camera roll, he most definitely went through his messages. if hyunjin really is candy, then that means felix knows that. he might disregard it because he doesn't really know that yn is chocolate, but we can't even be sure of that, either. for all we know, felix took hyunjin's phone to try and make sure hyunjin didn't know his art was being stolen and now somehow knows everything about candy and yn and hyunjin. i wish we knew exactly when his phone went missing, though, because that would give us some answers about yn and felix's exchange at the party and what it means.

also i lowkey think seungmin is felix's partner in crime...?? unless it's a character that hasn't been introduced yet, but i think out of the characters we know so far, it's most likely to be seungmin. or wonpil. those are my two main candidates but seungmin likes hyunjin and he rly has no motive for selling his art but i feel like there has to be some significance to him being at the party and aCK- this is so fun but it makes my brain hurt >.< yk that meme of the guy in front of the bulletin board with a crazy look on his face? that's me rn 😭

why is jisung kinda being pushy tho 🤔 at any other time i'd adore him for trying so hard to understand and help his friends, but rn everybody is sus :D jisung running around to find his friends?? or running around to snatch some art 🤔🤔🤔 nah but jisung is still on the good list tho, im just over sleuthing. (right????)

yk what really rubs me the wrong way, though? the way hyunjin treats his friends. i mean, okay, sure, fine. let's say hyunjin has a reason for hating yn (boI WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE DESTROYED YOUR FAMILY ??????????) why is he being such a dick to his friends?? that's honestly a huge red flag for me in general when observing others as just the type of people they are- i watch how people treat their friends and the people they surround themselves with. i absolutely hate the way hyunjin treats jisung and seungmin; it's so toxic.

also poor jake :( poor lia :( poor ryujin :( that situation is such a mess and i feel so bad for them

the little moment between seungmin and yn tugged on my heart a little. they had such a huge impact on each other's lives, whether they want to admit it or not, and i love their relationship. also there's just so much to unpack with seungmin hehe it's so fun

atp, i feel like even if felix didn't get his hands of hyunjin's phone, he'd still be knowledgeable about everything. he literally gives off the vibes. it's kinda like, even if he doesn't know anything, he'll act like he does and then catch you in 4k 📸. but now that he got the extra leverage of information by getting the phone, he seems even more dangerous now no? but dw, he hates getting involved remember~ also trying to understand felix and his motives is a chore 🤷‍♀️ even y/n gave up already.

pls i know that meme 💀💀 but yeah, it's hard to think of it no? so many possible people. but in the first place, you might've forgotten that seungmin is a hustler (dealing drugs) because he doesn't want to get a lousy part time job. this implies that he does need money and would go to illegal measures to acquire it. on the other hand, perhaps it's also wonpil's influence 🤔 we did get the tidbits where wonpil used to be the wild child back in his day. plus, i've never established anyone as a rich person in this fic (as of yet) except for jae. anyone or everyone needs money. they're all broke college kids 🤷‍♂️

i kinda feel for jisung, he just came to the party to have fun with his friends and he ended up being alone and taking care of people and looking for his friends 😭. but yk what's also the thing with getting left alone is that there were no eyes on him 🤔🤔🤔 hmmm

i don't think he's necessarily being a dick. we've only ever seen him get mad whenever it involves y/n. aside from that, he treats them normally (though a bit assertive). he even keeps photos of them 🤧✨ but even still, we're yet to see the full hyunjin uwu. take for example seungmin: if hyunjin is truly toxic, a person like seungmin wouldn't have a reason to stay. seungmin is someone who knows his worth yet he still takes the effort to understand hyunjin, even if it meant talking to y/n about their history and even sharing a bit of himself to someone who he was dismissive with at first. i'm sure as his longest friend, seungmin already knows most of the meaning behind hyunjin's sharp tongue. i think sometime far into the future maybe once we reach chapter 30-40 we'll see more of hyunjin's pov and whatnot. but for now, we have criminal activities to catch 💪

the ryujin-lia-jake situation— it's def up to them to fix it. it's a bit hard for y/n though because she feels somewhat stuck.

oooh that's a very well said statement :(( they made an impact on each other's lives not just whether they admit it or not—but whether they even know it or not. they have this small connection between them that makes interactions easy and comfortable because they had that childhood history that isn't toxic. they were simply playmates, and wonpil being the nice guy that he is, and also somehow became little y/n's babysitter for a while, that meant she was looked after alongside seungmin and jake as "siblings". they're overall v v cute ♥️♥️♥️

LMFAO THAT DINNER SEQUENCE WAS A HOT MESS PLEASE. seungmin did NOT wanna be there. he was like, peace out ✌️😬. ngl i can relate. i bolt out of every single awkward situation by just walking away, even with family stuff.
