🧨 : is there a specific fandom that you’d say you have bad experiences with?

I've actually not really been an active part of any fandom prior to Arcane. And I do have some grievances with this fandom but I wouldn't say they were necessarily bad experiences, just...unpleasant or disappointing.

I did pitch into the Harry Potter fandom back when I was a wee young teen but it was only on the Czech scene and incredibly inconsequential. Nowadays, I distance myself from anyone who is part of that fandom for very palpable reasons.

I've been in a community that formed around Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen book series, though all of them would likely eat me alive for calling that a fandom, and I did have some unpleasant experiences there but nothing too damaging.

I've never been any part of these but, from a distance, I've gotten some really ugly vibes from the Homestuck fandom and the Steven Universe fandom.

well in case you’re not aware these guys are Jeff, Karl, and konor fang’s very much deceased uncles however they still live on in my au due to Jeff having decided to pass down the mantle via being a donor as in literally having his sperm frozen for someone else to use down the line.

Other than that auntie nic over here had her own daughter her names Nicole amoria sniper his relationship with his snarky cousin is rather one spawned by rivalry and I’m gonna be very honest when I say that they would fight like cats and dogs 🐕🐈 and it got to a boiling point where bark felt like his love for fang a.k.a. nick(as called by his cousin)was being threatened thus only being tolerant was enough for him at least emotionally.

While that’s all going down snowy boi over here accidentally bumps into fang’s half brothers at a bar (Jeff’s kids)who are a weasel wolf 🐺(don) , a red kangaroo 🦘 wolf(Joey),and a grey kangaroo jerboa hybrid named Leo ♌️ (yes I know that may be a tad bit strange but it is my au so yeah my rules) ether way snow ball🐻‍❄️❄️ Becomes friends with these rag tag mobians whom with the explosive 🧨 assistance of bean accidentally get him back together with fangy via strong persuasion and confidence ending the destructive rivalry between the cousins

BACKGROUND & HEADCANONS:

according to her parents, taylor is a disappointment. but according to herself? she’s downright bitchin’!

growing up in ithaca, she often felt stifled by the small-town feel, the seasonal turnover of college students only seeming interesting for so long. she leapt at every chance she had to visit nyc, often taking weekend trips with friends or playing tourist in the city with family visiting from out of state. she was in love and knew it was exactly where she wanted to wind up... and yet, she never made any steps in that direction.

taylor was a chameleon in high school, racing through a million and one different phases and styles, constantly reinventing herself from week to week. while it turned her into a fearless individual who was insanely comfortable in their own skin, it freaked out her parents. “rebellious” was a favorite adjective around the sui house and taylor quickly lived up to it, rolling her eyes and talking back right up until graduation.

under the sensible pressure of her nurse mother & actuary father (“total and complete worrywarts,” according to taylor), she enrolled in business courses at ithaca college just to keep them happy. at the same time, she started working at fringe salon on the weekends. her hobby-job soon became her priority and after 3 years pursuing a degree she didn’t care about, taylor dropped out.

predictably, her parents flipped when she told them. it caused an explosive fight and tension that still lingers, no matter how much peter, her older brother, tries to play defense on her behalf. even now when they all get together for their monthly dinner, her mom will passive-aggressively ask her how classes are going as if she’s still attending lmfao

about a year into being a fulltime hairdresser, taylor is living comfortably on her own in a studio apartment at bellayre, still mooching off her parents & constantly bugging her brother in nyc

Pugsley loves having an older brother! (Me) It's like having a dad who has more time to spare, though that's not to say Gomez doesn't always go out of his way to spend time with his kids. I'm admittedly closer with Wednesday, but I love to help Pugsley with his pranks and whatever else he's interested in at the moment. In turn, he enjoys hearing stories from my s/i and watching him go through his acrobatics routines.
