Im not gonna say puerto ricans don't say tio to mean guy bc maybe they do (I've personally never heard it. Honestly even meaning uncle it's rare in PR usually I hear titi/tito for aunt/uncle) but tio (meaning guy) is specifically such a spaniard thing to say, honestly when we mock the spanish we do it saying tio.

Honestly the fact I even know that is because I read it secondhand on tumblr somewhere💀 or I mean, I've heard tio meaning uncle before (unless i was earblind lmao), but I had no idea it also meant dude until, you know. Recently.

bruh I bet Miles learned that in Spanish class at school, I think I remember seeing a post somewhere where they said "maybe miles wouldn't have a b in Spanish if he wasn't doing Spain Spanish in school and Puerto Rican Spanish at home" or something to that effect, idk, unless they're teaching Mexican Spanish at his school and Miles is just genuinely struggling so hard he pulled from a third form of Spanish he ain't even formally learning 😂

Gotta admit, Miles teaching Reader horrible Spanish/Spanglish would be a cute sorta thing to get under Miguel's skin, and I actually did, uh, write this a while back for funsies lol (although I keep forgetting to use those recommended translator sites so, using Google translate I know will set me on the wrong path lmao)

bringing txt home for christmas.

hello my lovelies! i hope you guys had a beautiful christmas! mine was amazing! so, i'm puerto rican and im basing this off my experience of what christmas is like in my own family home. hopefully some if not all of you can relate and imagine christmas with the boys through this!

genre: fluff, holiday themed, established relationship.

he is quite literally going to be the talk of the holiday. he's so charming and sweet to all your family and friends that they all just fall in love with him too.

of course your younger cousins/ siblings love him, he's so cool and hip. he's probably doing tictok dances with them while you catch up with the rest of them.

he makes dad jokes with older people in your family that he knows will make them laugh.

for games like white elephant or secret santa he would be so into! he would put so much effort into the game and make others laugh with his expressions.

one thing is for sure, this boy is EATING. he's eating so well, and compliments who ever made the food. he's so adorable and happy with all the food around.

when it comes to affection he's respectful of your parents so he's not as touchy as he usually is but still does things like wrap an arm around you or kiss your cheek.

he of course gets your parents thoughtful gifts, especially if he's met them before he'll get them something he thinks they would actually want/use. he probably spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to get them too. he definitely thinks gift cards are an easy out.

when it comes to gifting to you, he's very thoughtful. it's probably something you mentioned liking months ago. you even forgot about it, so seeing that he remembered and got it for you means even more than anything.

he's the ideal boy to bring home for the holidays. he's so sweet and respectful, overall the perfect boy every parent would want for their child so, of course he shoots a big home run with all your family. they like him so much they even start asking you about possible wedding dates.

firstly he makes sure you're in the spirit of the holiday by buying you guys annoying matching ugly sweaters. he'd be kinda shy about it when people pointed it out, but he should have expected it when he bought them.

if he sees your cousins playing with a switch he'd probably watch until he felt comfortable to actually sit and play with them regardless of age.

he's definitely trying a little bit of every food that had been brought. probably the older women in your family would be feeding him because he's such a cutie when he eats literally feeding him is so pleasing.

of course you guys are getting the awkward posed picture in front of the tree so your parents can post it on facebook the next day. like it's such a funny picture with you and soobin doing that weird prom back-hug pose with two tight lipped smile. he'd like the horrible picture so much that he would have it aa his lock screen for about 3 months.

ah yes soob gets along with your family pet. because duh why wouldn't he? he's so gentle and just wants to cuddle it because yes.

at first he kinda sticks to you because of the large amount of new people he was meeting. once he gets a bit more comfortable he's probably hanging with your cool cousins and the family friends you love.

he's nervous about the gift exchange so he gets your parents a pretty nice gift card with quite the chunk of money to a store he knows they both would enjoy. and as for you... he wanted something that you could tell meant something to him, so he would get you something like a simple gold locket with a teeny tiny picture of the two of you in it that he hopes you like.

OH HE TOOK THE NIGHT WITH HIM! just like yeonjun he was the talk of the night! your family would love him! especially if they were loud like him. beomgyu would be so in his element, meeting people that you resemble and winning them over so cheekily.

he's so cool all your little cousins/ nieces and nephews want to play games with him. they literally became obsessed with him, and of course just because they're children he still wont let them win.

he will totally sit in front of the tree with you and play the guessing game as to what was in each neatly wrapped present. some of your presents he would take and shake gently just so he gets an "accurate" guess. you guys probably make a bet out of it. you end up owing him 20 bucks.

gift giving with beomgyu is very thought out, he is definitely one to spoil you even if it's just silly little gifts to make you laugh. some of them are silly but a good couple of them are actual functional things he knew you wanted.

he joins in on your family traditions no matter how  ridiculous it light seem to an outsider. he doesn't ask much questions and goes along with it and really enjoys them.

something tells me that he's amazing at wrapping gifts and making them look pretty. he's also good at decorating despite how chaotic he might be so he loves to help your family with things like that.

when it comes to gifting to your parents he'a very excited about it, he's someone who probably likes to get people clothes. so he probably got them some cute outfits he thinks they would like.

bringing beomgyu home is just overall so heavenly, and especially worth it when you see his bright smile as he opens his gifts that he's been trying hard to guess at all night.

AHH!! perfect boyfriend!! literally he's the definition of the man you want to take home to your parents. everyone literally falls in love with him, he's perfect.

he goes out and talks to family members of yours that he hasn't seen or met before. he holds meaningful conversations and mingles around well with everyone to the point where you're kinda like ok guys lol when can i have my bf back lol.

at first he might be a bit shy when your family pulls out the karaoke machine but eventually he'd warm up to everyone and sing a couple songs with your friends or close cousins.

taehyun does not pass up the opportunity to try all types of food, he even talks to the cooks in your family about their own recipes and life hacks with food. he'd be so happy tasting all types of new and/or familiar food to him and even ask to take some home with him.

when he finally gets the moment he would pull you to a quiet spot away from everyone to have a nice moment with you. it was as if he had been running laps at this party he knew it was about time he spent some of the holiday with you.

you know you guys are taking cute christmas selfies on his phone for him to smile at later because he is that type of boyfriend.

when it comes to gifts taehyun gets a little stressed with trying to figure out what to buy and such. he doesnt want the gift he gets you or your family things that they wont use so i probably gifts things like nice kitchen appliances hoping your parents would like it.

you on the other hand, he found it easy to shop for you. he acts like he doesnt really care what you show him online or in stores just to make you think he isn't listening but truly he does. he always gets you things you pointed out to him months back which shocks you because he also likes to tease you about not getting you anything because he didn't know what you wanted. so you are very happily surpised.

he's such a sweet heart he just unintentionally wins everyone's heart. literally everyone becomes obsessed with him to the point where he's invited to other family gatherings regardless on in you go or not.

kai would be very into the christmas spirit, probably would match pajamas with you or even wear something red with a santa hat and such. he just thinks christmas is the time to be all cute and christmassy.

he's another one that would love to join in on traditions or family has, he's literally so into learning shat your family does and likes to do during the holidays. he even shows you some things he does with his family back home. a very sweet moment you both have.

omg if you have sweets or deserts out he will try all of them each and every single one. and he WILL come back for seconds and thirds of all deserts because we all know he loves sweets.

he will probably have a blast with your younger cousins, he'd play with them for a while before hanging out with you and the older-yet still young generation of the family.

he's so cute you know that the older women in your family will be pinching his cheeks and talking about how cute he is. they will also try to feed him everything and anything that he wants.

gift giving to him is probably the most exciting thing for him because he loves to see the reaction others have to the gifts he's given them. of course he was a bit nervous about what to get your parents so he played it safe with some gift cards.

you on the other hand he went OFF, he spoiled you with everything under the sun. he didn't know how much he got you until you were the only one still opening gifts after everyone was done. this made him extremely shy.

Are you still doing ships ? If so I would love for you to do one. I would love a marauders era one!! I always felt like I would get along with Remus and my friends have said the same but with James Potter lol but I wasn't to sure.

I'm 18 and 4'11 but I have a big attitude and are very protective of people I care for but I can be calm and collected when I want to be. I'm very clumsy (tripping over my own feet or the sidewalk). I used to be in choir till I transferred to a new school middle of senior year. I tend to take my grades seriously but not enough to get super high in my classes. I like to read but I also like to collect books and stickers and pins. I act like a child at heat 🙂😂. I love building Legos like I could sit there for hours and build. I'm very girly like feminine in a way like I like skirts and dresses but also jeans and heels. I like skin care as well. I care for people very deeply and I'm a good listener. My friends are my family.
