WHY must EVERY game be early access now? I feel like half the games I own don’t even have an ending. Tearing the concept of early access apart with my TEETH

#and it’s like I totally get why early access seems so good from a developer stand point #you can gather player feedback and promote multiple ‘release’ dates and gather cash flows without waiting til the very end #but I think it just ends up hurting reception of the game in the long run #players experiencing great games through early access will instead experience as a couple good games instead #I feel like only 1 out of ten popular early access games are received well #and there always games who enter early access like 90% done #fields of mistria #hades 2 #subnautica #slime rancher 2

#open resource monitor before the game->go online->alt tab->right click g.ta and click 'suspend process'->wait ~5 seconds->'resume process'#BAM solo lobby without the limitations of an actual solo lobby #you can do the nightclub promotion stuff without being bothered by shitty players :)#harper has spoken #r: one condition: never stop #i think for consoles you just turn off your wifi for a few seconds. however thats done w your equipment #there might be something in the console menus to disconnect quickly but idk

hell is real and it's a haz 4 elimination mission with a korlok at the start with a wall between the heart and the rest of it so you can't reach the healing pods and your team keeps reviving each other instead of killing the things shooting at them because they're greenbeards who don't know any better but then the korlok pops a dreadnought cocoon which spawns the twins and your teammates get so frustrated they leave and new people keep joining because it's a double xp mission but they're ALSO greenbears who see the shit going on and leave right after getting downed and by now you're out of ammo but you don't have enough nitra for a resupply so you desperately dig into the next cave with a slither of health left and run straight into a contagion spike and two spitballers but you have no ammo so you keep running and finally at last you find a lootbug and dash back to molly and finally call a resupply

I wish GI wasn't trying to push people (kinda specifically longer players) away from the game, like damn. I really hope new players are watching closely and not just deciding "there are haters" or "complainers." Some of the things, like the age old where's the end-of-game road map, have been actual game needs that haven't been addressed for years. Game needs, guys. Idk, if you still call some people haters/complainers, then I'm probably gonna call you a bootlicker lol

#journey to batuu SUCKS as a game pack #SUCKS as a stuff pack #SUCKS as a thing in the sims that cost real legal tender money #BUT #Star Wars spin off like the sims castaway stories ??? or the sims medieval????#icon #we could’ve had something great #but EA teamed up with the other money hungry mega corporation #and killed all hope of a decent sims 4 spin off #I actually really enjoyed my first batuu playthrough #there’s just no replay ability aspect #and it’s way more reading than gameplay #like the arcana is basically a point and click story based dating simulator #and it had more gameplay than the sims 4 journey to batuu #and like I’m a Star Wars fan saying this #journey to batuu made Star Wars fans mad #can you imagine how much more money ea would’ve made off a game that also appealed to Star Wars fans and not just sims players #like how does a 20-30 dollar game pack IN ADDITION to what was (at the time) a 60 dollar game seem like a reasonable game setup #oh I can play this neat Star Wars spin off for thirty bucks #oh but only if I buy the sims for 60 dollars 🤡🤡🤡#and the reviews all say the game is broken and the Star Wars pack sucks 🤡🤡🤡#like what was the marketing idea behind batuu it doesn’t make any sense from a business standpoint on either Disney or ea’s side #‘oh it’s to promote Star Wars land’#for the price of the actual game cost on launch #I could’ve just gone to fucking Star Wars land for a day #and I would’ve have the same amount of gameplay #neon speeks #neon answers #neon plays the sims #neon hates capitalism
