something i’ve noticed between canon dol epithets and fanon dol epithets is that canon is a pretttty straightforward noun descriptor of their role/occupation/status… sydney is kind of a deviation from this (so are gh and bw kindaaaa), but otherwise it’s stuff like “the orphan”, “the club owner”, “the bully” etc.

whereas fanon dol tends to use adjectives more than nouns, and instead of describing the character’s role they describe their most prominent personality trait instead… there’s nothing wrong with either approach per se but it is like. interesting. to me.

not really a bad post just a thing that happened that I feel I should remark on but idk where else to do it at. lol

so I have a potential outta state trip setup for the end of next month that I'm really excited about and also maybe kinda desperately need for a lotta reasons lol but getting there is proving to be difficult as the preferred method is via a long bus ride since I can't drive myself and as I can't drive I'd likely need to get to the bus place via my fam somehow. I haven't told them yet bc things have been so hectic but intended to today

however while on an unrelated venture with them my mother had a sudden and near fuckin'. breakdown while recounting how she'd "just left" my other sister to ride a train some 3 hours away just yesterday (she had an outta town job thing for like. two days lol, like it was totally willing on my sister's part, not forced or anything bad like that)

and I was sitting in the car as she continuously got worse and worse, as she went on about how horrible it made her feel to "abandon" one of her kids (who, again, wanted to do this and is coming back tomorrow and has been in contact with her ever since leaving) and how terrified she was about it happening all, fully aware that I have to ask her to basically do the same thing for me on a greater scale just like
