We’d like for you to always think the ‘Navy Sails’ when labeling the femoral triangle. For the borders recall the mnemonic ‘SAIL’ and for the content inside you’ll use the mnemonic ‘NAVEL’. Let’s see them here: ✅ Mnemonic The borders of the Femoral Triangle are made up the superior border which is the ‘Inguinal Ligament (IL)’, the medial border which is the ‘Adductor longus muscle (A)’, and the lateral border which is the ‘Sartorius muscle (S)’. @rev.med S A I L ⛵️ S: Sartorius muscle - medial border of the sartorius muscle. A: Adductor longus muscle - medial border of this muscle forms the border and the rest of this muscle forms part of the floor of the triangle. I wore both my sailor dresses recently and thought they needed to be posted together.⛵️ The navy colored one I bought second hand last spring and it was really not sewn as nicely as the green one I bought years ago. You can see it's missing the ribbon on the middle collar part and the rest of the ribbon on the collar is pretty bad too. I can easily add the ribbon on the middle but I'm pretty sure I'll need all new for the rest of the collar and I really need a perfect match for that. But I suppose I could just remove it and add something completely different there too. 🤔 It's not unwearable as is so we'll see what ends up happening with it. Also I decided to wear the navy one in my favorite way I wear my green one. I think it works but not quite as well as the green one does.
