Just finished my first playthrough of Fire Emblem Three Houses...can confidently say it was an overall disaster. Not that I’m bad at the game itself (I’m actually pretty decent considering I don’t play the harder difficulties) but that I had zero idea what I was doing for most of the game so the ending was very.....hollow and unsatisfactory.

I plan on following the other main routes (ie picking the other classes) before going back and doing a “canon” playthrough. Basically doing everything right from the beginning to ensure a happy and satisfying end...but I’m sad it’ll take me so long to get there!!

Anyways! Overall I really enjoyed the game and I can’t wait to see what the other paths have in store for me! Feel free to send me asks/messages if you’d like to hear more of my thoughts on my first playthrough, I doubt I’ll make a proper post on the subject so you’ll just get bits of my thoughts in random post tags...

#my first playthrough really was a storyline disaster #and it was all from mistakes I made early on and had way saved over them #which is particularly frustrating bc I’m such a paranoid saver #it was a lot of fun though and I’m excited to see the other perspectives #hopefully I won’t mess those ones up too bad lol #I picked golden deer first bc they intrested me (and I’m a huge Ignatz simp)#I think they’ll end up being my fav house (I can’t speak for ashen wolves bc I’m not paying for the dlc sorry)#but we shall see #I think I’m gonna do a black eagles playthrough next #mostly just bc I really wanna know what the thought process was #they’re really painted as the evil empire in the golden deer route #(also bc again my first playthrough totally blind so I was like oh uh hmmm)#so yeah #anyways!#fire emblem #fe3h #spoilers #just in case
