I also imagine them as switches, though I do lean to Kaohika more… it’s just that, when you see fanfictions and fanarts of them, in my case I was almost horrified— at the way people take the uke thing way too far (it’s just an act, and like you mentioned, even if Kao likes to be doted on, he doesn’t have to be ukefied to be like that) and the way he’s feminized just make me want to show that he can also take the lead/be in charge (even if mostly in private) like in ep. 15 ;; They also confirmed it themselves in the first volume, that while it seems that Hika takes the lead, it’s the more mature Kao that drives the action/is the same (depends on the translation), and it may sound personal, but I hate it when he’s made all feminine— like with his Cinderella metaphor (and Hika and Kao always cross dress together), or the fact he ACTS as the uke, and that was only by chance— because when they initially joined the host club, Kao accidentally burnt his finger for real, and Hika was holding him, genuinely concerned— and then they realized that the girls love it so that’s how the act started in the first place.

oh, yea i remember back when id read a bunch of fics of them after my anime rewatch a few yrs back i was like oh thats.. hm,, ;;; cuz id found a few where kaoru was a bit Too uwu uke iirc tho quite a few of them were p old & from when that was the Norm so i just accepted that some fics were products of the times &/or written by younger fans, as lets face it ouran was & still probably is 1 of the entry level animes. i actually dont consume all that much content of them tho (i only read fics Occasionally [this goes for all fandoms] & theres not much art for them in the eng sphere & i dont follow/kno any jp ouran accs on twitter or use pixiv) so that combined w my bad memory of what i Hav seen means im a bit Unknowing of most fanon for them.. lmao... i figured most of the stuff like that was mostly left behind as of a few yrs ago but perhaps not..?

I don't think I mind ppl playing w the princess thing tho considering it Is a part of his chara, but the whole thing was supposed to focus more on the magic of an illusion shattering eventually & losing what he has not quite a princess & prince... ;; but he Was almost/p much comparing himself to a princess' story & when the magic breaks & he's metaphorically left in his simple flats & princeless instead of the lavish life he had at "the ball" [cinderella metaphor. there is no ball, im aware] so it can't be helped if ppl like the princess association i guess.. give ppl an inch & theyll go a mile, & all that. & honestly w hikaru "saving" [ep 15]/"finding" [ep 21] kaoru twice in canon, it doesn't surprise me if they imagine hikaru as his prince & kaoru the princess since while the metaphor was more abt the whole host club not jus hikaru, hikaru was also a big part of it, as the eps focusing on it display his longing looks at his brother & such, w a fesr of losing Him the most. so long as ppl don't Reduce him to his feminine metaphor 100%, i guess. tis only a small part after all, not a loadbearing one. the angst is more the important bit lmao give him a masc cinderella outfit, even. (altho... the allure of a bishie in a dress... Very Enticing to most I'm afraid)

him always having to be the uke role thing in their host act is kind of out of the fans control bc that's canon... if he's content w his act of being that way, then power to him I guess! he himself might also like that in public he's all uwu kyaaa hikaru <3 while at home it's Hikaru who's nuzzling into his throat. a smug sort of feeling, ya know? that only he gets to see hikaru like that, not everyone else.

WAIT actually as I was typing this I remembered some scene from thee movie shoot ep [ep 4, apparently] where they mentioned 1 of them being the receiver or w/e (bc sports) & it was apparently hikaru annoyedly asking why kaorus the seme in the script w their changed charas (hikaru being all "KAORUU OAO" & kaoru gently reassuring him, which is like their actual dynamic instead) w kaoru replying in a similar manner going "yeah >:T"

which implies either he Likes/is fine w his uke role or at least doesn't think the fangirls would like them switching up & wants the status quo to stay the same just in case. I think if he did mind he wouldntve said anything? or even suggested to hikaru that switching up provides something fresh & "it's still doki doki twincest, hikaru~ these girls have a refined taste; they might just take a liking to gap moe ^^"

but those r the 2 charas theyve allowed to be chosen for themselves, in a way, & theyre like yea this is alright. rhey prov have an "if it aint broke dont fix it" mentality & since the girls expect the typical, they see nonreason to deviate. the twins are capable of speaking out- theyd prob speak up if they minded. also, kaoru might kno that hikaru might not want to be seen as vulnerable [ep 16 comes to mind tho that had more to do w circumstances going on at the time] so kaoru takes that upon himself & bears that burden upon his perceived character [as in the way one is seen, not his host club persona] so hikaru won't mind as much? idk im going off on a tangent I feel but I think the thing w "kaoru Having to be the public uke" isn't all that bad since he himself seems fine w playing around w that character. maybe one day they'll switch it up for fun. (not Literally, as technically they could have hikaru play as kaoru but it would still be seen as "kaoru", but I mean For Reals have hikaru as the uke)

okay so awhile ago you posted something about Yosuke (crazy, right?) and in the tags I believe you mentioned something about how you don’t like Yosukes parents? Could you elaborate? bc I have not stopped thinking about it since you mentioned it (sorry this is so vague my memory is horrid skjdjfjgj)

OYSUEJGHHBKEJHDSGVDH oh my god okay SO. At first I just got ~vibes~ from him... like, I couldn’t quite pin down what made me think he had abusive parents, because obviously he never says anything to indicate it explicitly, but then I started noticing... small things.

I don’t want to say outright that I think they’re abusive (physically or verbally) and I also don’t think that Yosuke hates them, or necessarily even sees anything wrong with how they treat him, but I do think that their behavior has severely impacted Yosuke and led to a lot of the negative traits he displays.

To me, the most telling example is this conversation where he talks about Teddie being praised by his parents for being “thoughtful” very pointedly in front of him. It seems to be a reoccurring thing where they compare him to other people (primarily Teddie) and make him feel inferior. Yosuke’s a bit of a pushover, and frequently gets taken advantage of monetarily, and in this case he’s caved and lent Teddie a significant chunk of his savings for their trip to Tatsumi Port Island... only for him to spend it on presents to suck up to Yosuke’s parents which makes Yosuke look unthoughtful. Yosuke clearly sees it that way, even if Teddie hadn’t intentionally planned it out from the start as such (he calls Teddie “surprisingly shrewd”).

Yosuke gets told off either because a) he didn’t want to fight back/argue, and instead just took a passive stance instead of telling his parents that he was the one to lend Teddie the money in the first place, and thus didn’t have any left to buy them gifts, or b) his parents think so little of him that they don’t believe him at all. He specifically says he doubts his parents understand, which makes me think that he did try to explain the situation.

There are also several instances of a large Junes event being Yosuke’s responsibility, or at least of him thinking that he has to scramble to make things work, like the Junes concert, where he says he’ll have to move away if it doesn’t pan out; maybe this is his own thinking, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was something his dad said to scare him into helping, especially considering he MUST know that Yosuke is friends with Rise, or the time during the summer where he calls Yu and begs him to help out. Yosuke isn’t a manager, but he’s still got all the responsibilities of one, and even tries his best to work out other employees’ problems as well (look at his SL).

The Junes concert in particular really sent up some red flags for me, especially because Yosuke says this.

Yosuke’s got terrible self-esteem, there are countless times where he’s shown to be overwhelmed and embarrassed by completely genuine praise from his friends. In one of the drama CDs he mentions that he intentionally doesn’t try his best in school because he doesn’t want to disappoint himself by doing poorly while also knowing that he gave his all. It really makes me think that his parents just have an abysmally low opinion of him, and he’s adopted that same view of himself.

There’s also several scenes where he talks about his parents finding his porn (or Teddie showing it to them) and in his SL he says his mom “read the title out loud to [his] family” which on top of obviously indicating his family is pretty conservative about that kind of thing, also means he’s had to learn to be secretive with them to some extent. In Arena, Yosuke’s mother goes as far as burning the porn Teddie finds. Even if it's meant to be humorous, Yosuke's property is still being destroyed.

Now these next few things are more... abstract and can definitely be argued, but personally I still find them important to point out when discussing the topic.

Yosuke obviously struggles with toxic masculinity, and similarly to Kanji, feels like he needs to be the ideal, strong man that protects the weak, etc. Even without looking at specific dialogue, you can tell that Yosuke’s been raised to think he needs to be a “real” man, that displaying more “feminine” behaviors is a sign of weakness; because that isn’t just subtextual, it’s something he very visibly displays, it’s part of his arc. He can’t mourn and cry, he has to get revenge (because he couldn’t protect Saki at the time and he watched helplessly as she died, it makes it his fault), he says hugs are for girls (a common sentiment, but he had to learn it from somewhere), and any time he slips up and reveals his actual feelings, he has to overcompensate, let everyone know that he’s just your average teenage boy who’s definitely interested in women. Yosuke’s not the most masculine guy, he likes fashion and cares about his appearance (the bar is so low) and I’d bet that if he were given space to explore his interests without any expectations, he might actually find he’s into stuff that goes against what he’s been taught. He admits to liking crossdressing, then walks it back; not because he’s ashamed of it (on the contrary, once he realizes people found him cute, he openly brags about it), but because he thinks he SHOULD be ashamed of it.

It’s why he feels so threatened by Kanji, who completely takes him by surprise when he realizes his outer appearance and interests don’t match up. Now Yosuke’s got to compete with Kanji over who’s the manliest, show that he’s not like Kanji, because Kanji’s already accepted that side of himself, and it totally goes against everything Yosuke’s been taught to think is “normal”.

So then we look at lines like this.

On its own it’s nothing special, but it’s not just the slogan itself, it’s the way that Yosuke specifically says that his dad is still saying it. Combining this with what I mentioned previously about Yosuke’s behavior, and a few other tidbits, like Teddie mentioning that he watches violent war movies with Yosuke’s dad, it definitely makes me think he’s the type of guy who’d try and push Yosuke into being more masculine, being a traditional, unshakable, unemotional man.

Lastly, there’s the recently identified album on Yosuke’s shelf in arena, and what do you know, one of the songs on it (The Chain, by Mr. Big) has these lyrics...

In my mind, I see Yosuke’s mother as an incredibly controlling, strict woman who expects her son to be utterly perfect, and even when he’s good, it’s never good enough. Yosuke’s father is busy with Junes, and while he isn’t around the house too often, Yosuke sees him at work quite a bit, large and in-charge, not allowing anyone to see weakness, he leans on his son because he can’t bring himself to ask for help. Yosuke’s left to pick up the slack, and he’s taught by example that relying on others is cowardly, that being intimidating gets you further than being “nice”. Even though Yosuke obviously goes against this, he can't fully commit for fear of standing out and disappointing his parents, and that makes him passive; he ends up being a pushover, and neither of his parents are happy about that. He’s a “disappointment” to them, it’s one of his defining traits that everyone loves to bring up. It's something that's shown to really get under his skin, but he can never do much more than get angry, because he truly thinks he is a disappointment, he doesn't think highly of himself, even if he protests.

Maybe I’m reading into all of these things a little too much, but... I don’t know, I’ve said it before, but I just don’t see how half of Yosuke’s personality would have been shaped by anything other than his parents being Not Great.

hello icha!! i finally got around to finishing the stranger haha,, by which i mean i just watched it today. was veryyyy excited for it as i really like the poster design for this one. anyways. this event starting w/ the sort of portrait format or whatever / that narration is like. god. threw me right back to autumn troupe. I kind of love that the storytelling format itself is so distinct for autumn! the moment I realized it was omi I started getting teary… like oh man oh man… omi…. And the connection with him taking photos! ahh!! now that I think about it… omi kind of seems a bit like early version tsumugi, huh? also I keep forgetting this man is a college student lol. suspension of disbelief I suppose. onto the play i think like. mankai should invest in a fainting courch for tsuzuru. i also went to watch the play and 1) im betting yuki had a hell of a time costume design wise like the vines on the body? such fun costuming wise and 2) the ethical implications of whatever this play has,,, fun fun. tsuzuru was clearly having some kind of thoughts. i love zeros design and am always up for a3 characters crossdressing bc 1) i think its fun and 2) the costume design. i also dearly wish this whole thing was animated bc I feel like it’d be o fun to see taichi act as zero. or at least I hope this event gets full voiced one day... moving on to the scene where omi adds soy sauce to the paella I know it’s just like haha homare funny so lets five him a lil bit but like everyone in autumn troupe making their comments on the paella and like homare just jumping in. homare autumn troupe besties. just thinking. also the way they just r like. no no no omi it’s fine if u made a mistake!! it’s ok! we like it (you) anyways <3 it’s got it’s own special taste. something something omi’s perfectly pleasant as he is now but even if he weren’t on his a-game and was dealing with all of the biker gang stuff they would love him just as hard. another thing that got me was omi telling banri that he’ll give him something sweet so juza will stop grinding his teeth in his sleep… guys… guys you’ll give him cavities…. mb omi is a college student after all lol.

anyways when i saw the actual costumes. appreciative of them, i like the lil circuit-esque detailing on banri’s outfit, and that sakyo and taichi (nine and zero) both share that like collar detail? its very symbolic and probably also literal but its a nice way to sort of signify their relation to each other visually! also sakyo just looks nice. seeing him without glasses is so great. whoever thought up the like two mole detail for him was doing gods work.

something that confused me was ryo mistaking juza for nachi for a split second? like. does juza… look similar to nachi? or was it just that ryo only heard juzas voice and made that mistake. if it’s appearance wise too. kumon nachi confirmed. I’m joking lol bc I feel like I would’ve heard at least something abt it in one of the like small conversation comments, plus that doesnt seem like itd fit summer troupes style and kumon is for sure the wrong age… but still.

i really like how for this event, the roles for taichi and omi were kinda reversed. and taichis just so like. idk. smiley. rly lifts ur spirits. its kind of nice how this event contrasts to that cg where taichi is crying on omi. I also think like. idk. considering the story of the stranger. wolf gives zero a sense of purpose and life and I think that zero helps wolf lose his apathy. it’s about “the stranger” and the ending makes him like… not a stranger, right? because he’s got a companion. in the same way, taichi brings omi out of his emotional isolation. the picture taking! also the stickers coming back… thats such a good setup! the found family of it all!!

when he was trying to work out zeros character as soon as taichi mentioned a sharp speaking style I KNEW it was Yuki… yuki would never be as honest as zero is though lol… to me i imagine she’s got a sort of juza internal monologue feel? anyways. the taichi yuki dynamic intrigues me. havent yet decided how I feel abt it but when I do… yes. sorry that I make literally no sense. I think it’s very obvious that yuki is my fav chara kind of? I’m just. hmmm it makes me think! I’ve been monologuing to myself abt the yuki and juza dynamic lately which, to my a3 knowledge so far, doesn’t exist, but its ok bc I’ll make it exist! uhhh anyways this event was very good i liked the pacing. i think it didnt drag too hard and it really properly honed in on just omi and taichi, which was quite nice. they really did a lot for just an event!

time to listen to the event song,,, ok so. ah. i rly enjoyed just for myself it was very much to my taste so. out of curiousity i was like ok lemme look up the composer / producer AND IT WAS YUYOYUPPE....... that guy is like!!!! one of my FAV producers ever!!!!!! i know him from like. his vocaloid days and god leia is still one of my fav songs to this day...! this knowledge gives me so much joy omg!!! like wow!! wowwww!!! like i knew yuyoyuppe was out there doing other stuff (i know he worked on a lot of babymetal music which is cool) but like idk. to suddenly encounter it like this. heheh.... its so nice! made me soooo happy. going to relisten to leia now haha

Im glad you liked the costume and the play!!! yeah i love the designs and it is always a blast to see them this into it, and yeaaah Tsuzuru has thoughts huh. It'll get voiced sooner than later hopefully and there we'll see more in details :3c but also that's what made the seiyuu live so fun bc they perform the songs in play cosplay and replay a bit of the play everytime and it's *chief kiss*

aND DLKFJD yeah no Juza is supposed to look like Nachi physically, but mostly his face? like i think Nachi was had green hair? we see a sprite of him in a future story, and yeah, everything is in the eyebrows. so Kumon should be safe? Omi mentions he sees a lot of Nachi in Juza, and while it is mostly due to their passions i think, the fact they're also rough looking guy with a heart of gold must play a part as well. but yeah, he does look like Nachi a bit.

I feel like Taichi is really an emotional core of the troupe in the sense that is, he tends to catch on what others are feelings easily. And he uses it in the early chapters to ease off the tensions and stuff, but he was being held back by knowing he was deceiving them. So now that he's more free, he can be more of himself. but yeah i also love the contrast with how Omi was the one to help Taichi through his breakdown and guilt, and now it's the other way around, it's Taichi helping him through it. and the parallelism between the play and their dynamic is spot on imo! well said!!

and god yeah the sticker things made me cry sO HARD, and the pictures! and everything!! sobs it's such a sweet found family i'm going to cry :(

And! i love what you say about Yuki, Taichi and Juza on this one. I love that Taichi keeps bringing it back to "that childhood friend" and it's always like. so obvious who it is for us rip. But it can make you wonder if Yuki was more honest as a kiddo when Taichi knew him, though now he's clearly not. I love the mention of how Zero is more like Juza's internal speech (which, if anything is another argument about why you should let Juza wear a dress, cOWARD)

but also your mention of the Yuki and Juza thing, while i can't think of them having a dynamic per se yet, but i actually wrote a post during my reread about how i was baffled at the fact they treated Muku the same way?? like both of them tried to push Muku away because they were scared of how people would react if they say pure, sweet Muku was associated to them. And i find it fascinating because i guess those two are pretty aware of how the world see them, and it used to stop them from fully allowing them to be themselves.

I also find it relevant with the fact Yuki says in his personal song that while all of this way people judge him weight on him, he rather be himself, and "I want to love myself". Meanwhile we have Juza who's also aware of the way people judge him and it weight on him, and he wants to change himself from this person he hates, this self loathing - and in a way, he can grow in a way to be "someone" he may not hate, even on stage. I feel like those two have quite a bit in common in this way of being rejected by their peers in some sort of way.

I really want them to share some stuff at some point because there's really a groundwork on it all :(

But i'm really glad you liked that event!! agreed on the pacing and i do love what it brings to the characters! it really fleshes them out and have them move forward a little and it's pretty sweet.

This is probably going to get long because I might go into some detail, but I also might have forgotten a few things or decided not to mention them. This isn’t going to be an exhaustive list of things Snaji has “done”, and has a lot of personal opinion.

Spoilers, Snaji negativity, and a little bit of crude language under the cut so be warned!

      Snaji was never on my list of favorites. He’s the kind of character that rubs me the wrong way, but despite that he was able to fluctuate between tolerable and lovable in his own way for most of the pre-timeskip part of the series.       I didn’t hate Snaji, he just wasn’t my favorite Strawhat and that was it.

      My biggest problem with him was always his creepy and invasive behavior towards women and the fact that he thinks he’s a gentleman when he’s not.       I think the biggest thing pre-timeskip is the fight with Creep Lion where what really gets Snaji to snap is not the fact that Creep Lion has put his entire crew through hell and was going to forcibly marry Nami, no. It was the fact that Creep Lion got the peeping tom devil fruit before he did.

      But even then, most of his screen time was spent on other things. He had things he did, he had wants and needs and a personality other than being horny.       But much like most of the female characters, his personality imploded in on itself and all that’s left now is tits.

      I will not be talking about parts of the writing that happen to have Snaji in them that I think were handled poorly (the entire wedding with Pudding, for example) but more on actions that specifically Snaji has carried out that make me dislike him/how he was written.

      A lot of this stuff is personal opinion and not things he has done objectively “wrong”, so to speak.       This isn’t me trying to shame anyone for liking him or me trying to tell anyone “your husbando is shit”. I like plenty of characters who other people dislike or find to be “bad characters”.           It’s just that you asked a question, and I want to answer it honestly!

The Fishman Island Arc

      We’re going to come back to something else that happened in this arc later, but we’re just going to start by going through a few of the things he’s done that really rub me the wrong way:

Just thinking about the mermaids gave him a nosebleed so bad that Chopper was concerned for his life. Chopper proceeded to tell him to AVOID the mermaids.

He went directly against Chopper’s orders and he he saw the mermaids he got a nosebleed so bad he needed a goddamn blood transfusion

During this blood transfusion he was given blood from two gay men/crossdressers and he went into a rage because he’d rather die than get blood from gay people. (which is Holy Shit levels of gross. I know Oda is Japanese, but this is still a really unfortunate choice given in the United States it’s still illegal for gay and bisexual men to give blood)

His horniness was repeatedly a major hindrance to the entire crew during this arc. It was different when it was a passing joke about how he gets all starry eyed because Nami and Robin are pretty.

His boner influenced the plot and created problems for the entire crew. This happens over and over again, and he never learns from or improves because of it.

Dresrossa Arc

Pretty minor drop in the bucket all things considered, but the entire thing with Viola. Not the fact that he wouldn’t fight her, but the fact that once again his boner put his life at risk.

I am aware that in the end through the power of Snaji being Snaji he managed to make Viola come to their side but overall just. HUFF.

** Side note I took a glance at the wiki bc I wanted to make sure I was getting things right and even the author of the wiki seems lowkey tired of Snaji ex machina [screenshot from Viola’s page on the One Piece Wikia] [”Somehow touched by these words, Viola decided to help S//anji”]

Whole Cake Island Arc

A very minor one is Snaji’s instant willingness to marry Pudding and abandon the Strawhats and only rethinking it once things became dire.

More a personal gripe but Snaji didn’t develop. He didn’t change, he didn’t improve, nothing about him is different. He didn’t learn anything from Pudding, he didn’t become a better person. He was just made to suffer for an arc and then he was fine again and there’s no long term consequences to anything. Other characters who got similar arcs developed and changed. He didn’t.

The moment he wasn’t at risk anymore he was back to having exactly 1 (one) personality trait and that personality trait was being a pervert. And the entire thing just. Made me sad.

He lost a lot of his interesting and sympathetic traits

It feels like he nolonger gives a shit about any of the other crew members except for the female ones. I miss his relationships with the other crew members a lot.

      I mentioned that we were going to come back to Fishman Island, and now’s the time. This part is purely personal and not necessarily something Snaji “did”, but I’ve been wanting to talk about it for a while and this gives me a reason.

      There’s one particular scene that gets to me more than any other and cemented how much I dislike Snaji. Compared to some other stuff it might seem unimportant but it really, really bothers me.

         At some point during the arc, Jinbei comes to Nami having heard of what Arlong did to her, her family, and her Island. And he comes to apologize and take responsibility both for what Arlong did and also for not preventing it, even though there’s really nothing Jinbei could have done.

Before Nami even got a chance to speak, without even asking her, without even looking at her, without even paying a single speck of attention to her reactions, Sa/nji jumps in.

      He jumps in and tells Jinbei to kill himself in atonement for what happened. He tells this man he doesn’t deserve forgiveness for a crime he didn’t commit, without even considering the person who was actually had to live through what Arlong did.

      He spoke over Nami, he spoke without a single concern for what she would want, he spoke over a victim and a survivor who actually has to live with the suffering these things caused.

      And not only that, but he did all of this after he showed no actual interest in hearing about what happened to Nami and her island. In the original Arlong arc when Nojiko is telling the Strawhats about what happened, about all that Nami has suffered through, when she finishes Sa/nji doesn’t even care.       He doesn’t actually care about what Nami went through because he was too busy thinking about how cute Nami would have been as a child.

      And then he feels the right to speak over her. He feels the right to speak for her, without considering her or her opinion on the matter, on whether or not she forgives Jinbei.

      He didn’t care what Nami thought, he just wanted to be a white knight.

      And when Nami tells him to stop? He tells her, the one who had to go through all of it, to think about what they did to her. As if she doesn’t know, as if she didn’t have to live it.

Nothing Sa/nji has ever done will ever piss me off as much as that did.

      What bothers me about Snaji is that he’s a creep who thinks he’s a gentleman, and who the narrative treats as a gentleman.

      Snaji is never really punished for his actions. You’re not supposed to think he’s a creep, you’re supposed to like him. You’re supposed to find it funny but charming when he objectifies women and treats them simultaneously as untouchable angels and helpless children who can’t do anything for themselves.

      What post-timeskip Snaji did is that he’s every single thing that made me dislike Snaji and almost nothing of what made him a character I could care about.

Once again, I want to say this isn’t an attack on anyone or saying it’s bad to like Snaji, I’m also not trying to say Snaji is the only character that has done bad things or things I dislike. I just wanted to explain why I didn’t care for him and what bothered me about how his character was handled post timeskip.

My main series is Naotomo Highschool which is just a bunch of highschool delinquents (staff too)! And bc I can, the first five are idols! >:3ccc

Luna = The school’s banchou (so the leader lmao) she’s a huge tomboy and tsukkomi. She claims to be really chill, but she will easily start a fight .5 seconds into an argument. Just a huge joke tbh

Yuhiro = Luna’s childhood friend! Likes cute things and hair pins and sometimes even crossdresses. A ho, but with self-respect. Also likes song writing for Luna! People call him “Verbal Banchou” (Kotoba banchou) bc he’s good at persuasion. Can’t do math for his life.

Hoshino = A haraguro. Prince-like, but a haraguro. Who wears a lot of jewelry he loves jewelry/accessories and coffee. Will insult you without hesitation, but is kind in his own way (deep down inside). Like a little shivering animal in cold weather. Knows how to throw knives.

Jin = The BIGGEST pugnacious boi ever. Look at him and it will initiate his fight or flight instinct (only fight tho). Bc of his style of dressing, people call him a chuunibyou. He’s really cute and smol, but will kill u if you say that. Really smart.

Kuroki = Jin’s childhood friend. Looks like a scary bear boi, but is actually a very kind mum boi. He will throw your phone out the window to force you to get rest (chaotic good). Good at medical stuff. He likes cooking and his favorite food is sugary fried stuff like Churros. He has a munching/biting habit.

Sadomi = A very pretty boi, he also likes pretty things. Can be pretty rude, but overall he’s a taciturn person. Looks a bit scary, and can be pretty sadistic sometimes.

Akemi = Sadomi’s older sister! She’s super caring and like, perfect waifu material. Makes you think, why is someone like her in a delinquent school. Well, when you mess with her brother, she will not hesitate to kill you lmao.

Mao = Sadomi’s best friend (forcefully). He kinda forced himself into Sadomi’s life bc he simply just wanted to be friends (Sadomi accepted him somewhat). He’s always finding weird stuff like, Chocolate from Peru or tickets to an aquarium in Spain, and he won’t tell people where he got them. He hates cats, despite looking like one and when he sees one they will start hissing and growling at each other.

Hibana = The biggest bro. Akemi’s childhood friend. If you even THINK something bad about Akemi, she is ready to throwdown. Very chill, yet very energetic at the same time.

Takashi = The “student council president” apparently, but he’s terrible. If your not wearing your uniform right, he will kick your ass with no warning for not following rules. Despite that, he doesn’t even follow rules himself he’s just a mess really. Really broke.

Shoutarou = A fox boi whose always selling stuff. Like. Anything. He’s a school merchant. Just really sketchy overall. He loves making fun of Takashi bc he knows he can’t afford anything he sells, but regardless they are bros and he gives him free stuff sometimes.

Miyabi = A REALLY ELEGANT CHUUNIBYOU. He likes occult stuff too (bc he’s a chuunibyou) Always gives really weird nicknames for people (normally off mythology sdsajlk). He’s not a morning person and picks a fight with anyone or anything in the mornings.

Fuma = Miyabi’s best friend (reluctantly). A boi who suffers from terrible anxiety, he would go days without eating because he’s too anxious to order food. Used to hate talking to people, but gradually got comfortable around Miyabi. Likes occult stuff. Easily prone to stomach pains. 

Seiza & Kosumo = They’re twins! Born on different days bc one was before midnight, the other was after. Seiza is a fan of astrology, and Kosumo loves Astronomy. They’re both into gothic fashion. Likes occult stuff as well. Them, Miyabi, and Fuma are all in the occult club.

Koiki = An artist! Mainly uses acrylics and draws still life or backgrounds! He has a terrible temper and draws away his frustration. Bc of that he’s a messy painter. Also a hopeless romantic but won’t admit it.

Erika = Another artist! Friends with Koiki. She likes anime/manga and she even has her own OCs. She likes drawing using pencils and inks over paint. Tho she likes anime/manga, she refuses to draw comics lmao.

Michiru = The last artist! (They’re in the art club). He uses multiple mediums and will draw anything ONLY if it’s something beautiful hh he absolutely hates ugly things. His main subject is Koiki. He’s really gay.

Tayori = A MAILMAN!!!!! He’s just a real good-hearted mailman who can’t stand people not getting their packages, so he personally goes to the school just do give them their package. He’s part of the staff now. He’s somewhat of a airhead, but a good person. Has tons of siblings. (Like, 6.) And loves them all.

zeldablogging! i actually quit playing hours ago but i didn’t have time to post it until now

firstly my bro came over and let me use all his amiibos and i got epona and some SWEET gear, but it's like, a random chance to get one of the three piece fo each one, so he has to COME BACK so can get everything

also i went to the wasteland tower and i can see the divine beast from there!! i think with the flying island bird thing i've now seen them all

my brother wanted me to go north to the woods at the top of the map to get the master sword, but im just not Ready yet. i wanna see more plot. he also told me that there was no special quest for it which like :/ weak?? im disappointed tbh

the interactive map shows a stable along the road so i guess i will start there!
