For your new ask game: how are Judas Durchdenwald & Lazarus Cain connected?

OHHHHH BUDDY. HEEHEEHEE

Judas Durchdenwald is from the Forsaken thread (the individual stories that make up Lantern Eclipse), and he travels around the cursed wilds with a group of various outcasts who jokingly refer to themselves as the Twilight Opera Company! (they don’t actually do opera but they ARE musicians lol) They’re a family and they all protect each other <3

Lazarus Cain is an assassin from Guardian City who doesn’t really belong to any thread in particular - he’s sort of an ever-present force, always watching in some way.

Judas and Lazarus haven’t actually met, BUT! Lazarus alternates between friendship and rivalry with Fairywren Merlo! After finding herself lost in the Cursed Wastes with only Ford for company (and trust me he’s not great company), Fairywren stumbled upon the Twilight Opera Company, who offered to help her find her way back to the city. However, the Company - and therefore Judas - can’t go into the city as most of them are mutated in some way and thus not allowed to enter </3

BUT!! Later on as all the individual threads begin to converge, the Company goes back to the city (with two new members) which then allows for yet another connection, though still through a degree of separation - Ratshot Durchdenwald, Judas’s younger brother.

Ratshot becomes friends with Styke Trengrove, who is close friends with Lazarus since they both occupy a very similar niche: goth guys obsessed with the idea of revolution.

So!! While they may never actually have met, they are still connected in the tangled web that is Lantern Eclipse!!
