Family Tree time!! Except I can't show you the actual family tree because it's...got a lotta people on it lol. Most are just for filler, I swear. But!! I managed to write down the Important Members of my Alice's family, specifically her ancestors && descendants.

Phineas Hatter: The motherfucker that started it all lmao. He fell into Wonderland at age 10 in 1608 after exploring with his friend Blake Grimm. The two got attacked by the Jabberwocky, and while Blake was able to escape and return home, Phineas was driven further into Wonderland. Phineas is the Mad Hatter. He is loud, sociable, and somehow always in trouble. Him and Alice have a familial/parent-child relationship, as he took her in and cared for her when she fell into Wonderland.

Gwen White: Gwen is next, falling into Wonderland at age 12 in 1664. Shockingly, she did find a way back to Reality! Unfortunately she was thrown into an asylum, which she escaped and fell into Wonderland yet again, this time for good. Gwen is the White Queen. She is quiet, timid, and hates conflict. Her and Alice do not interact often, but they have positive views of each other.

Viktoria Glazier: Viktoria fell into Wonderland when she was 14 in 1720. She was trained by Spade Soldiers to be a knight, whereafter she joined the Spade Army. As an army of Wonderland, they fought pointless yet fatal wars that were often reminiscent of board games, leaving Vikrotia with a great deal of trauma and trust issues. She later quit the Spade Army and began working for Thomas Blanc/White Rabbit as a maid, going by Mary Anne to distance herself from that part of her life. Her and Alice have a sister-like relationship, though it is a little strained due to Viktoria’s aforementioned trust issues.

And then there’s Alice Glazier, who arrives in Wonderland at age 19 in 2022. Like all the humans that came to Wonderland, she, too, attempted to leave before resigning that she’d live there forever. Except…no, she was forced to go back and act like Wonderland didn’t exist, like all of that didn’t just happen. Well, unfortunately for everyone else, Wonderland was Alice’s home now, and she was going to find a way back to it. She is curious, tries to see the good in everyone, and a little insecure about her own abilities. Though she has made many friends and allies in Wonderland, the Tea Party Trio (Phineas/Hatter, Henry/Hare, & Morphie/Dormouse) will always be her family.

Finnegan Glazier: Finnegan is the son and first child of Alice Glazier and Wendy Dear. He is named after Phineas Hatter, a fact he is indifferent/on the verge of annoyance on. Finnegan has an interest in journaling and photography. He highly dislikes fantasy/fairytales and is very tired of hearing about what his mothers did when they were his age. He does not get along with Alice due to her more adventurous personality, which results in many arguments. After one such argument, he broke one of her mirrors in a fit of rage, which transported him to Looking-glass Land. Later on he publishes both his & Alice’s stories, under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. He is also the main character of the Tale “Through the Looking Glass”.

Carrie Glazier: Carrie is the daughter and second child of Alice Glazier and Wendy Dear. Like Alice, she is curious and adventurous, but is a lot more cautious of her actions. She does not get along with Wendy due to her more strict personality, leading to a strained relationship. In an effort to bond, Wendy tells her about Neverland, revealing that she had an extra bag of pixie dust Captain Hook gave her if she ever wanted to return. This results in an argument in which Carrie steals the bag, flying to Neverland herself. She is the main character of the Tale “Return to Neverland” (name subject to change).

Rosemary Glazier: Rosemary is the daughter of Carrie Glazier and Alice’s granddaughter/only grandchild. She is polite, soft spoken, and loves listening to old radio dramas. Unlike her ancestors, Rosemary was actually born in Wonderland, and it is the only home she has ever known. Unfortunately, her parents died when she was quite young, leaving her in the care of Phineas and Henry, who raised her as their own. She is part of a variation of the Tale “The Scorpion and the Frog”, taking the role of the Frog.

what's gonna happen if you start TES worldbuilding is you're gonna go, ok, how can I justify Oblivion alchemist OCs carrying around, like, 3 huge pieces of glassware. you can say "it doesn't break because it's magic glass" and move on with your life OR you can spend an hour or two in an internet hole that started with the wikipedia page for "Tempered Glass" and ends with some academic paper on Iron Age manufacturing. then you gotta head on over to refresh yourself on alteration magic and its uses so you can imagine this little unnamed glazier at the Arcane University who developed a technique for making sturdy and reliable alembics for the adventurous alchemist and boom, you've done some worldbuilding.

but when you go to put it in your story you don't really want to derail the narrative with a whole paragraph-long aside about all this shit, so you distill it down to one explanatory line. for example: "it doesn't break because it's magic glass."

Random fun fact time! Ft. OCs! (Repost because I added more/ edited a lot of stuff)

Avery -

- Sneezes like a kitten, and most of the time she accidentally uses her fire breathe when she sneezes, so watch out

- Sleeps on a rock

- Is made uncomfortable by actual dragons, it's just... too weird for her...

- Has a strange and inexplicable extreme fear of eels

- Reacts to fear by singing/humming/speaking very loudly, and also by running and screaming (basically, how markilpler acts when playing horror games? yeah that)

- At least once a week her dad has to help her brush through her hair, he says they should get it cut but she absolutely refuses

- Owns a few pairs of gloves- most of which look nearly identical. Some are for different days, some pairs are for bedtime, and some are for special occasions, but she also has some different types and styles of gloves for different events

- Loves the holidays, dislikes the weather that comes with it

- Absolutely hates people touching/messing with her tail, even if it's by accident she gets kinda mad. That's hers- don't touch it. (Emma's the only exception to this simply because it can't be avoided- although Emma does try to touch it as little as possible)

- Slightly allergic to pollen

- She has a clicking-like purr

- If you scratch under her chin she'll purr and relax, but if scratch a certain spot on her neck she'll sleepily fall over

- Adopted as an egg and raised by her human father and fairy mother

- Has a Scottish accent 

- Works as a Glazier (glass blower) and makes potion bottles, also helps with making the potions, and occasionally costumer service and boring stuff like stocking/inventory

Emma -

- Plays with hoodie strings and/or hair when upset or nervous (it happens often, her hoodie strings are sorta worn out)

- She's a big fan of animals! Especially bears, puppies, and unicorns, she thinks they're adorable! When she was younger she used to like dragons quite a bit too

- She's a protective friend and big sister, and she's a little over protective over people she cares about

- Tends to read into things; if your tone or demeanor is slightly different she begins worrying that something's wrong or that she did something. She also tends to believe that no one actually wants to be her friend or wants to be nice to her, but that they're only being nice because they're afraid of her or pity her.

- LOVES HUGS!!! Absolutely loves them, hugging other giants, hugging people smaller than her, getting hugs, giving hugs, she loves hugs

- Once accidentally ate a fake candy cane decoration, off someone's front lawn, because she thought it was real gigantic candy, left out for giants (she was like four, so it made sense to her then, but she still gets made fun for it a bit by her family)

- Loves snow and winter

- Her favorite color is probably blue

- Is surprisingly good at sneaking up on people, for someone 30ft tall she's quiter than most borrowers

- Is the second oldest of five kids, her older brother Rory is 23, her younger brother Richard is 15, and her youngest sisters Aroura and Tiana are 6 and 8, and they're all pretty close

- Her dad is a size shifter, and so are Richard and Tiana, the rest of the family are giants

- She's ambidextrous

- Very cautious of her surroundings

- Hates surprises/being scared

- Bi-romantic and ace

Sofia -

- Can write without looking at what she's doing

- Only wears slip on shoes or shoes with Velcro/zippers, she never learned how to tie them, she couldn't figure out what to do with her head or look at what she was doing

- She's an artist! She likes to paint!

- Has a hard time saying "no," so when she says it, she means it

- Hates surprises and people sneaking up on her

- Has a pet python named Albert

- Probably the only person on the planet who has worse anxiety than Emma

- Don't call her "Soph" or "Sophie," and she gets mildly annoyed when her name is misspelled

- Typically uses right arm to carry head and left hand for everything else

- Has a weird sense of humor

- Has a million stuffed animals, has like 20 on her bed, but Rupert the blue bunny is her favorite

- She has an enchanted scarf that allows her to wear her head when needed, she doesn't usually use it because she's not used to it & it gives her anxiety (she's scared of the scarf falling off/being taken off unexpectedly) but she has it and uses it on occasion, mostly at home

- She doesn't let anyone else hold her head, it seriously freaks her out, her dad is the only exception, but Avery held her once for a group photo (her body took the picture)

-She loves singing and has a soft beautiful voice but is too shy to sing around anyone 🎶

- She was bullied when she was younger and doesn't like to talk about it, she already gets emotional easily and those memories hurt

- She loves Avery's jokes and has a bit of a weird sense of humor

- She's adopted, she lives with her human father (another fun fact, her dad is one of Avery's parents best friends!)

- Unlike Avery, she wasn't adopted as a baby, she was about 6-7ish when she was adopted

- Loves vegetables

- Gets embarrassed easily

- Doesn't go out of her comfort zone, she only does stuff when Avery basically forces her to

- She really likes Emma, but is also sorta scared of her sometimes, she's just scared of people and being looked at, so she can be a little overwhelming without meaning to be, it's nothing personal and she knows Emma wouldn't hurt a fly, she's just scared of people and sometimes Emma is a lot of person

- Doesn't want Emma to hold her (Emma respects it, although sometimes they work it out to where Emma can give her a gentle hug)

-Her favorite season is fall

-She loves rabbits and frogs, but won't admit she loves horses (there's a stereotype that all dullahans love horses, she won't give in)

-Hates confrontation

-Loves vanilla cake

-Hates strangers and people she's not comfortable around being anywhere near her

- Pansexual

- Sorta has a voice claim, but it's weird and sorta difficult to explain?

Andie -

- Has a French accent (picked it up from dad)

- One of my only OCs to have a voice claim

- Plays the flute

- Mean, selfish, and self centered, but somehow also a good person

- Sings sentences sometimes

- Scared of turtles

- Works as a bard/waitress at the family tavern

- Unfortunately she is heterosexual

Andy -

- Somehow didn't pick up their fathers accent

- One of my only OCs to have a voice claim

- Plates the lute

- Genuine and kind hearted, but also a bumbling moron

- Dreams of being a song writer, wants to be a professional musician

- Works as a bard/waiter at the family tavern

- Bi, but prefers women

Clementine -

- A book worm

- Likes to sing

- Practices magic, knows a few interesting spells

- Sometimes her and Avery fight over magic usage vs. potion usage (they know it's a dumb fight, but they don't care, at this point it's a joke)

- She's a white tailed deer

- She has great hearing, and is usually very aware of her surroundings

- She wants to be a magic professor as an adult

- Demisexual, pan, but prefers men

Pond-

- Elementals don't really have gender, she chooses to present as female and use female pronouns

- Can't "see," but rather senses vibrations, since she's made out of water she doesn't have eyes, but based on other senses she can get around just fine

- She can't smell either

- Doesn't care for romance

- Has 4 pet fish she keeps with her, named Karl, Frank, Phillip, and Fish

- She has a baby sister, Brook

- She's odd and can be off putting unless you know her pretty well, then her weirdness is sort of endearing

- She can tell her friends apart by the way they walk and their gestures, and of course their voices, but really has no idea what any of them look like, she knows their species and the normal traits of those species, but not much outside that

- She doesn't eat or drink

- Smart, but sorta reckless

- Sorta hard to hug :( but the others still try

Sapphire -

- Has minimal size shifting abilities, but prefers to be her true size, she loves sitting on her husband's shoulders or in his pockets (She's about 5ft in her bigger form)

- Used to be an adventurer, at one point she was a pirate

- Met her husband on one of her adventures

- Has a Scottish accent

- She has a sword her size (no it's not a toothpick or a toy or anything, she has an actual tiny sword) 🗡

- Makes potions for the shop and deals with customers

- Grew up outside of Tradeskeep, her and Kal retired from their adventuring career and settled down there

Kalvin -

- Used to be an adventurer/ mercenary

- Huge, ripped, has all kinds of scars, but his 4" tall wife is scarier than he his, he's basically a teddy bear

- Makes potions, does restocking, inventory, and doesn't as much anymore, but makes potion bottles

- Has scars/tattoos from various adventures

- Used to have dragon scale armor, he once saved a village from a dragon, but has sold it and no longer tells the story, he now claims it was a bear

- He's a great dad ❤

- Loves ale & meat, but not as much as his girls

- I cannot overstate how much he loves his family, he LOVES his wife and daughter, like a LOT, it pretty much defines who he is, he's a family man

- Met his wife while on a quest

- He used to be a nomad while adventuring and getting paid for jobs, he'd wander from town to town, until he settled at Tradeskeep and put up a shop

Details and Stuff

Quincy Upper School District in Boston

Kylie lives at 27 Hanson Street and works part time at Caffe Nero as a barista

Adrien and Jake live at 8 Milford Street, just one over from Kylie, Adrien works full time at the Southend Glass Company as a Glazier (glass installer) and Jake isn’t working, he focuses on his studies

Jonah lives at 248 Shawmut Avenue and doesn’t work. He’s too focused on a war that will likely never come.

-Kylie Woodbury-

Kylie lived a relatively normal life for most of her life- she went to school, had a handful of friends, took dance lessons at a local studio, practiced drums with her friend Adrien’s band “Numbskullz”, and went to concerts and parties just all the time… she and her dad shared a common interest in WWII era history, while her mom and her both loved laughing at cheap oscure movies together. She really did get along with both of her parents well, despite a tendency to be a bit of a rebel and a lot of a slacker. But all of that changed, quick.

One day when coming home from work her father, Agent Bailey Woodbury of Homeland Security, was murdered. His case was investigated for as long as justifiably possible.. But nothing came of it. The murderer was still completely unknown. Life changed for Kylie. Her relationship with her mom, and everyone, deteriorated fast and hard.

Then, her grandfather passed as well. Kylie and her mother had no family left aside from each other. For her interest in WWII history, Kylie was given her late grandfather’s Sedgley OSS .38, an extremely rare WWII fist gun, the first and only ever to see military use… And after the murder of her father, and seeing the feats of numerous heroes and vigilantes throughout the United States and beyond? She decided to use it. To become a hero in her own right. It wasn’t all that serious at first- she had no idea what she was doing and went on with her whole act for weeks before even coming across a crime to stop. And when she finally did…?

It was way out of her league. Hammertech being sold to some ski-mask wearing thug in a back alley in Roxbury. She was a teenage girl with no combat training, and nothing but a one-shot fist gun to defend herself with, so she hid and watched. She was impulsive and foolhardy- but not completely stupid. She knew rushing out to fight would be a death sentence. She watched, and waited, until the transaction was complete. She waited for the seller to drive off, leaving the ski-masked man with his box of dangerous new toys… and then she struck. She dove out of the trash bin she’d been hiding in, and punched him right in the gut with a BANG, wounding him not fatally, but enough that he wouldn’t be standing up on his own again for a while. She kicked his gun away from him, and rushed to the package he’d received, and grabbed all she could carry. In the moment all she could think to do was get as many of these weapons off the street as possible and get out of there before the police (or anyone else) arrived at the scene. What she’d ran off with later turned out to be a few unusable pieces of an incomplete leg armor, and a single gauntlet, which she later learned to be a Judas Gauntlet.

One month later, and Toxic Bronze was born. The poisoned bullets, the Judas Gauntlet… She had become a truly well armed vigilante. She still lacked training, but that didn’t stop her. She did her best.

While working as a vigilante, she remained a member of the band Numbskullz which was planning to release an EP soon, and she considered vigilantism as more of a job than a lifestyle like some heroes. Eventually- out on the streets (and in school) she met a fellow vigilante (who constantly goes on about “The War”) named Jonah Morris. She convinced him to join the band after hearing his singing skills, as they were in need of a new vocalist, and now they’re friends of a sort.

-Jonah Morris- 

Jonah was a quiet and angry child. By the age of 11 he felt like the whole world was against him. He’d never had a single friend and a house fire had taken everything he’d ever had from him, including his parents. His parents had been poor, but hardworking and loving people. He was understandably angry at their deaths. He got into several fights with the other children at his orphanage in the first couple months before Stick found him. He trained with stick from the age of eleven to the age of fifteen. Stick simply dissapeared and never came back with no warning. Stick trained him for war and by the age of 15 all he knows is violence anymore. When stick leaves he grows restless and needs somewhere to direct his anger and excess energy so he sneaks off at night to fight muggers and the like. He doesn’t form attachments easily. He thinks feelings are a weakness and friendship is unnecessary. They met on the streets and then in school. After they had worked together some she was like “yknow you should totally join my band it’ll help with team work skills” totally bullshitting and he was like “yes ofc that makes sense and team work will help me in The War” and joined. After a while he developed a crush on Adrien but was uncertain of what those feelings meant and considered them a weakness. After a long talk with Adrien where he was kindly let down, he came to understand that he was gay.

-Adrien Marsh- 

Lead guitarist and amateur middleweight boxer, Adrien is pretty much the dad and the common sense of the group. He’s no superhero vigilante, but he’s tough enough to help his friends out of a tight spot when he needs to. His dream is for Numbskullz to go big and viral. He loves his friends,and his little brother, and tries to support them all in all of their endeavors.

-Jake Marsh- 

A purehearted jokerster, Jake is the heart of the group. He had a crush on Kylie a while back (and sort of still does) which is how she initially got involved with the band. He’s no fighter, but he does his best to help his friends. He’s the most studious of the group and is planning on going to college- he’s on track to attend med school where he hopes to become a nurse, which Adrien is immensely proud of.

Mouse Triplets. are they canon?? bc its a cute idea but idk if Morphie would have kids...or who he'd have kids with. I'd say maybe I can make them his sisters or cousins instead but he's an orphan, so...that would not work...they might be able to work as Finn/Carrie/Rosemary's friends! Maybe each kid gets a little mouse friend oh thatd be cute...

Finnegan & Carrie. which one is Alice's child & which one is her grandchild/Rosemary's parent. feel like I have a semi solid idea of what I want with them.

Where do Azure, Violet, & Abigail live?? bc Ruby definitely lives in StoryBrooke. it'd make sense for Abigail to live / be with her but I also don't think she'd wanna leave her dad in Wonderland. have 0 clue about Violet, she probably travels between the two worlds often. Azure...probably takes over her dad's library at some point so she stays in Wonderland. I think, idk bc I also see her as more tech-focused?? hard to describe but I kinda see her hooked up to the internet / computers & stuff.
