How is it owning an Akita? My friend who owned one once said you have to be very in control of them around other dogs and strangers. How true is that for your guy? (btw I loved that pin of him so much I had to have one!)

bento loves strangers and other dogs but i’ve worked really hard on continuously socializing him! akitas and most primitive breeds require a certain type of owner and definitely aren’t for everyone but i love the unique challenges that come from having a dog that’s very much an independent thinker 🥰 most primitive breeds are described as cat like for a reason, cuddles on their terms, very hygienic (bento constantly cleans himself), free thinkers who don’t blindly follow owners requests etc but ownin an akita is amazing im glad i have the ability to own one properly while giving him his best life !

worst part of owning bento is how handsome he is 😭 im glad he likes strangers bc theyre always obsessed w him when were out in public lmao

thinking about my moms idiot dog who has seven confirmed kills (4 raccoons, 2 squirrels, one coyote. also countless mice and several prairie dogs) who has treed three (3) bears, been charged by 2 elk and one 1200 pound steer. whats wrong with her.

#willa was born to be a ranch dog #she is e collar and recall trained btw. and v good with other dogs/humans #the raccoons were in the house eating the dog food. this has happened three times. we bought a new dog door and that helped #the squirrel was in the backyard #the coyote was on open space (dog designated) and attacked my moms other dog (theyre a bonded pair)#the bears were in the backyard #steer was on blm land #she jumped out of the car window after the elk that ones for sure on us we shouldve anticipated that #that being said they get her 3hrs of exercise a day now. to cut down on the bloodlust #she is exceptionally well trained. unfortunately 'leave it' is difficult to get her to listen to when she has a literal bear in a tree #sometimes you meet a dog and youre like huh. you really are a subspecies of wolf arent you

Hm.. I feel as though judging by the quick pacing and instant introducing all the characters at once instead of waiting a few eps later or the next seasons, and how the story is going so fast that no one's able to understand what's even going on.

Could be telling me that Am*z*n wants to get this show over with so they can move onto other things which makes sense, and I don't blame them since season 1 will have only 8 eps from what I've seen by the leaks.
