Xiao

Since you started dating Xiao, you spend every minute of your free time with him at Wangshu inn. The adeptus is almost always busy with his duty as the protector of Liyue, making it hard for the 2 of you to spend time together. You both try your best to make up for the lost hours, usually opting for hanging out in his room at the inn instead of going out. At first, the idea of physical touch made Xiao sick. Not that he doesn't love you, he's just worried that if he stays too close to you, his karmic debt might hurt you. It took several weeks of you initiating physical touch like hand holding and short hugs for him to warm up to the idea. In fact, he has grown to like it so much that he – sometimes when he's very tired and feeling needy – initiates physical contact himself. While you enjoy kissing and hugging your boyfriend, sometimes it's just not enough. He’s just adorable :(((( You get up from your spot on your shared bed, making your way to Xiao who’s currently cleaning his spear. You kiss his cheek once, pulling away and go back for another one this time pulling away after softly biting his cheek. Xiao’s movement flatter, registering your actions. He looks at you, cheeks flaring up. You give him a cheeky smile, clearly content with his flustered state. “Y- you have no respect for the way of the adepti” He disappear, successfully escaping your upcoming teasing, leaving you in the room, giggling at your lover's reaction. 

Gaming

Your boyfriend is the sweetest. Always making sure you’re alright, treating you to dim sum as much as you want. He’s just so cute and eager to please you cant help yourself sometimes. He’s easy to fluster; stealing kisses in public just to see him blush and stammer over his words. Today you’re supposed to meet up in Liyue harbor, next to Xinyue Kiosk after work. You’re currently waiting for him “Y/N” you turn around, eyes scanning the crowd spotting your boyfriend a few meters away from you waving. You smile at him, returning the wave as he makes his way to you. He greets you with a hug, tightly embracing you. As he pulls away, you kiss his cheek adding a soft bite at the end. Gaming’s body tense up against yours, a shocked look on his face as you pull away. You look at him with a smile forming on your face when his cheeks start turning red. He puts a hand on his cheek, still not believing what you did. “Baby are you okay?” your voice snaps him back to reality, his eyes snapping to yours. “b-babe!”

Kazuha

After a long day, what’s better than coming home to be with the one you love? After a day of running errands in Liyue – courtesy of Beidou – the only thing you crave is the touch of your lover Kazuha. As you get on the Crux, your eyes immediately wander around for the sight of your boyfriend's blond hair. You catch sight of him in the bird's nest,where he’s  probably writing haikus that he will give you later. Deciding to let him be, you head to your shared cabin. You get changed and decide to lay in bed, picking up a book waiting for Kazuha. He enters the cabin a few hours later, silently closing the door behind him, greeting you with a soft smile. “Hi love, how did your day go?” you perk up at the sound of his voice, closing the book you were reading to give him your undivided attention. “Hi baby! My day went well, I ran errands for Beidou.” you sit up, “wrote any good haikus while you were up there?” Kazuha smiles, silently nodding. He takes out the red notebook you got him for his birthday, opening it. “Would you like to hear it?” “Of course.” The samurai clears his throat: “Oh night, embrace me, Wind's touch gentle on my skin, Stars reveal love's light.” you stand there dumbfounded, while it became a habit for your boyfriend to write and read you haikus, you cannot help but be flustered by the display of affection. You hid your face from him by burying it in a pillow. Kazuha chuckles, at your flustered state, taking a seat on the bed. “Come on love, don't be shy” after coaxing you into leaving your hiding spot, he pulls you into a hug, his hands finding purchase on your hips. You nuzzle your face into his neck, silently pampering kisses on his soft skin. You softly bite him at the junction of his neck, a small revenge for how easily he was able to fluster you. His body tenses under your touch, you immediately jerk up, looking at your boyfriend wondering if you'd somehow angered him. To your surprise – and delight – you’re met with a shy, blushy Kazuha, which is quite rare for the calm and composed samurai. Teasing at the unexpected gesture and reaction, which you will repeat in the future just to see his pretty face harbored with blush :)

Heizou

Heizou has a habit of flustering you. At this point you’re suspecting he’s doing it on purpose, you can no longer count on your fingers the number of times the detective surprised you with flirtatious remarks, unexpected kisses or pick up lines. Getting up from your reading spot, you make your way to the kitchen where Heizou is making dinner. You wrap your arms around his waist, your head on his shoulder, admiring his cooking skills. “It looks good, i'm so hungry” “thank you my dear, it will be ready soon.” A comfortable silence fills the kitchen, the sound of your breathing and cooking the only sounds. You sign deeply, and start pampering kisses on his neck, slowly making your way to his shoulder, where you softly bite the detective’s shoulder. Your antics are rewarded with a soft gasp – or moan? –  from him. “My my my~ you seem quite needy today.”  You start giggling, hiding your face in the crook of his neck, your cheeks warming up. (you’ll definitely tease him about that moan)

Albedo

“Please be my boyfriend” now don't get him wrong, while your truthfulness is something Albedo appreciates, it might also be the death of him, judging by how fast his heart is beating. “is this a joke of some kind?” You take a seat next to Albedo, looking at him with uttermost seriousness. “My parents think I have a boyfriend and we have a family dinner tonight. You would be an amazing friend if you could pretend to be my boyfriend for tonight.” “I suppose I could…”  your face lights up, getting up from your previous spot on his desk. “You’re the best, thanks bedo!” you press a quick peck to his cheek, missing the way his cheeks are set aflame by your action. And while the chief alchemist has no idea what being your boyfriend for the night might entail, he hopes it can make you see him in a different light. 

When you asked your best friend to be your pretend boyfriend for the night you never accepted him to be so… nice. Albedo isn't exactly known for his social skills in Mondstadt and you expected him to act the part as the reserved boyfriend, knowing how much he dreads social interactions. You were pleasantly surprised to find him at your door, flowers in hand. The rest of the night felt like a dream, or one of those romance novels Lisa enjoys so much. Albedo suddenly became the perfect image of a boyfriend, one that had your entire family swooned. He offered flowers to you and your mother, played with your baby sister and entertained a conversation with your father about Mondstadt politics. He even insisted on taking you home. Arriving at your front door, you turn around facing the alchemist. “thank you bedo, you did great tonight.” Albedo offered you a smile, taking an envelope out of his pocket. “I've read that sending a letter to the person you are courting is considered a romantic gesture.”  he presents the envelope to you, as if he just asked you about the time. Your eyes grow wide, and you can feel your cheeks burning. “i- are you asking me out?” “Indeed I am, and I hope you can return my feelings.” You must be feeling bold tonight, considering you pull the boy by his collar, pulling him into a soft kiss. “so, when's our first date?”

Tighnari

“By any chance do you happen to know a plant that would make my parents forget I don't have a boyfriend yet?” Tighnari is at his desk, reading documents which you assume are forest ranger reports. “I do not. Why do you ask?” you let your body lean on his desk, silently noting the way his ears picked up at the sound of your voice. “My parents are holding a family dinner, which will basically be a lecture about how I am still single.” you sigh, already dreading the yearly family dinner.“is this really an issue?” “Yes, my parents and relatives are a pain in my ass when they want to.”  You both sit in silence for a couple of minutes, an idea forming in your head. “could you pretend to be my boyfriend?? please?” Tighnari put his documents down, now giving you his full attention. “Now, this might work since we have been friends for quite a while now…” While he's trying to keep his composure, Tighnari can't ignore the way his heart jumped at the idea of ‘dating’ you. The forest ranger has been aware for quite some time that his growing affection for you was no longer platonic, so the thought of being able to call you his – even for only an evening – sounded great to him. “I don't see why not.” You smile upon hearing his answer. “perfect! I'll see you tomorrow!” 

Dinner with your family was relatively nice. It might be because your parents are too busy bombarding Tighnari with questions to pay attention to you or perhaps it's because Tighnari is by your side, hand on your thigh. The whole family seemed pleasantly surprised by your boyfriend, your cousins going as far as asking you for boy advice – something you never thought would happen – all due to Tighnari's acting. Acting that seemed a little too real, so real that you're reminded of why you came to develop romantic feelings for your long time friend. Your family deemed Tighnari worthy of you, especially your mother, who seemed overjoyed to know you're in a relationship with such a serious, handsome young man. Both of you announced that you were leaving when questions about childrens and marriage came into the conversation. Tighnari insisted on walking you home, keeping up the boyfriend act until you reached your house. “Now that we're done pretending, can I take you out on a real date?” you're not sure if you heard him correctly, heart beating so fast it's all you can hear. “what?” “i like you, can i take you out on a date?” oh, ok so you did hear him right. to say you're happy is an understatement, you're not even able to keep a straight face, smile forming without your own accord “yes, I'll look forward to it”

Cyno

You enter Lambad's Tavern and let your body fall on one of the chair at a table. Your friends; Kaveh, Tighnari, Al-Haitham and Cyno move their attention from their TCG game to you. Kaveh is the first to break the silence. “What's the matter?” you sigh “family dinner. I may or may have not told my parents that i have a boyfriend.” you can hear the quiet snort Al-Haitham lets out, probably thinking you dug that grave yourself. “so.. when's the dinner?” “tomorrow night.” Tighnari lets out a long sigh, putting down his cards. “you're fucked, i dont think you'll be able to get a boyfriend on such short notice” a few rounds of TCG are played in silence while you try to find an reason your parents would believe as to why your boyfriend couldn't make it. Kaveh, having lost yet another round, put his cards down. “hey Cyno you said you didn't have anything to do this weekend right? why don't you go with y/n?”  an innocent smile arbording his lips 

“Why didn't you tell me?” “tell you what?” “that you are dating THE general Mahamatra!?” your eyes narrow looking at your sister “we aren't dating, i told you it's just so mom and dad get off my back.” Now it's your sister's turn to look at you weirdly “oh really? then you guys are awfully good at this whole ‘we are in love’ act.” She makes a face. “ I’ve seen the way Cyno looks at you. It's not the usual, super serious, downright scary look he always has. He looks at you like you're a gift from the gods''  To say you are taken aback is an understatement. Cyno? looking at you like that?? there is no way, you would have noticed. if not Kaveh would have probably said something. Since you’ve let slip out your feelings for the general, Kaveh has been trying to push the both of you together, which lead to several awkward moments. The ride home is quiet, Cyno insisted on taking you home even after you left your family's house. He suddenly stops, and turns to you, serious as ever. “I know you have feelings for me, and I do too. If you are interested I would like to be your boyfriend. for real this time” your mouth opens and closes, nothing coming out of it. “yeah I'd like that.” Cyno smiles, looking relieved. He accompanies you to your door, hugging you before taking his leave. “Hey Cyno, how do you know??” “Kaveh told me” “I'm gonna kill him”

Albedo

Slow afternoons with Albedo are your favorite. Reading a book while your boyfriend completes his daily report. Today Klee went home early, leaving you to enjoy each other's presence in a comfortable silence. That’s also why you are currently on his lap, an arm around his neck, the other balancing your book on the chair headrest. To be honest, you’ve given up on your book a few minutes ago, opting for observing your lover’s face. Soft porcelain skin reflecting the soft afternoon light. It starts with you pampering Albedo’s face with small kisses, he says nothing ever so focused on his report. Maybe it's because your boyfriend is such a cutie or maybe it's because you want him to pay attention to you that you softly bite his cheeks. “oh” you hear him put down his pencil, body now comfortably resting on the chair, teal eyes staring into yours. “Is this a romantic gesture humans generally engage in?” “no, but it's one I engage in.” his previously raised eyebrow relax, a smile making its way on his face. “I love you too dove.” It's definitely something he’ll keep in mind, and he just might start returning the gesture. 

Diluc

Diluc has a bad habit. In short, he's a workaholic. Every moment you’re able to spend with him by your side, without any work in the way, is a cherished one. Both of you are on your shared bed, Diluc gently holding your body, your face resting on his shoulder. Sometimes words and kisses aren't enough to convey how deep your affection for him runs. But a bite on the shoulder, close to the junction of his neck should do the trick. His body tenses beneath yours for a fraction of second; “dear are you okay?’ the gentle vibrations of his laughter resonating beneath you. You answer him affirmative hum, letting his soft laughter and whispered words of affection lure you to sleep. 

Kaeya

Leaving paperwork for ‘later’, without actually ever completing it, is an activity your boyfriend – Kaeya – partakes in regularly. The consequences of his actions have now caught on to him; a pile of paperwork in your living room. He recounts to you the sermon Jean gave him about slacking off with a sheepish grin on his face. The chill Friday night hangout with your boyfriend, now transformed into a working session. Sometimes it's hard to control yourself around Kaeya, and in your defense, he looked so damn good while working on that paperwork. Catching Kaeya off guard isn't something you can achieve everyday, he’s most likely to pass off whatever you do to fluster him with a teasing remark and a smirk. But to your surprise, for the first time in your life, your boyfriend looked surprised when you sank your teeth in his arm. He wiped his head toward you so fast you thought he broke his neck, his eyes wide. After the initial shock passes, his signature smirk makes its way to his face: “I didn't know you were into this type of stuff ? or am i that irresistible babe?”

a/n. This was written with abyss prince aether in mind so yeah he’s kinda flirty and popular (you can tell how down bad i am 🧍🏻‍♀️)

You don't really know it happened — you and aether have always been friends. You met the boy before his college glory days, back in kindergarten. Somehow you became joined by the hip, never doing anything without the other. The friendship many thought would fade after elementary continued till high school and eventually in college. You can’t recall when you first thought of aether as attractive, or when you started feeling warm inside when he would call your name or give you his signature smirk, a tell tale sign he’s up to no good. 

It’s through his twin sister and mutual friend – lumine – that you came to the realization that you indeed arbored romantic feelings for your long time friend. What you didn't need was her  inviting you over to a coffee shop, along with scaramouche for an “discussion” – which felt more like an intervention in your opinion – about your feelings for aether. 

As you sit down after ordering your drink of choice, you can’t help still being wary of this whole intervention team lumine decided to put together. A long silence falls on the table, lumine offering you a soft smile as a “sorry”. It's scaramouche, always the helpful, calm and collected friend who breaks the silence. “Why don't you confess? You guys already act like a couple anyways it's disgusting” You roll your eyes at the remark, one you expected to hear from him, since he never fails to bring it up everytime you and aether hug or do anything that a couple could potentially do (yes even looking at each other for too long, which scara characterize as ‘eye-fucking’).  “You know, while scara is just being a hater – lumine starts, sending a pointed look at the boy – he’s right on that, you guys are basically a couple, I’ve seen the way he looks at you…” lumine trails off, an uncharacteristic seriousness in her eyes. Well that was a bold statement isn't it?? Well, maybe not as bold as the next; “you should confess to him he likes you.” You can only stare at scaramouche dumbfounded, before blurring out a weak “huh?”. You're not sure anyone heard you or that he was supposed to say that, at least that's what you think when lumine looks at him, a horrified look on her face, mouthing something only for the boy next to him to hear. The conversation ends when you quickly explain to them that the feeling will eventually go away, the same way they came. A white lie you would like to believe, one that needs to be true for the sake of your friendship

Leaving the cafe, you’re not quite sure about what has gotten into them, to corner you like this, giving a ‘confess to him’ talk just before blurting out that he supposedly feels the way you do. The soft buzzing sound emitted by your phone is what stops you from spiraling, at least for now. Speaking of the devil, it’s a text from aether, who’s inviting you to one of his parties. Not really your scene, but he clearly says in the text that it's a small gathering, not the large loud ones he usually hosts. Honestly, the prospect of seeing him after such a confusing day sounds amazing. You’re grateful for the distraction, already thinking of possible clothes combinations that would be nice for a party.

You cursed yourself for opting for a short slip dress, the cold october air hitting your freshly shaved legs. It’s a quick trip to aether’s apartment. The place is less packed than you thought it would be. Seems like his definition of small gathering his close to yours. While it is indeed a small gathering the music is so loud you’re sure your heart is now synchronized to its beat. It's almost too overwhelming. Your eyes flicker from face to face, trying to find him. The lack of familiar faces makes the thought of going home cross your mind, but it's pushed away when you catch a glimpse of aether’s face. Pushing past the other guests you make your way to the quietness of the kitchen. He greets you with that charming smile of his “I didn't think you’d made it!” God, he’s never looked this handsome, you feel your cheek getting warmer by the seconds so you avert your eyes, answering him “I thought it would be nice to party before the real work starts…” You’re not sure if you'll survive the night, judging by the way your heart keeps trying to burst out of your chest. 

You cannot help but think about lumine’s words again and again. Is it possible for him to actually like you? Should you just ask him? And what if he says no? Maybe passing it as one of scara’s jokes could save you from the embarrassment of being rejected. You open your mouth, not sure where to start. Aether seems to have something on his mind, like he’s hesitating to say something. He mutters something under his breath, his hands cupping your cheeks and his lips crashing on yours.

Aether doesn't know how it happened. He considers himself pretty smart, above average. Yes, he might always be at parties, but it doesn't make him less smart right? Then how in the world did he never realize that there has always been an angel next to him. He’s known you forever, way before he had any interest in dating or in girls in general. He can’t recall why he never realized that you were a blessing, an angel sent from God to bring light to his life. 

He doesn't need is his twin sister Lumine to tell him he’s fallen deep for you, what he needs is confirmation, he desperately needs to know if you feel the same. Realization has him going through every text and picture of you, looking for a trace – quite frankly anything – that could prove his case, that the both of you were always destined to be together, two against the world, all since that day in kindergarten. 

Aether isn't surprised when his friends confront him about his ever growing crush on you, it’s friday night and they’re playing video games at kazuha’s place. What he thought was a simple boy hang out turns out to be a prep talk for his confession. A courtesy of venti (who was definitely prepared by lumine), along with a few psychological facts from xiao, romantic gesture ideas from the hopeless romantic kazuha and teasing remarks from scara.

He tries to shut them up with a short – and not convincing –  explanation about how he’ll be fine and eventually confess and that now is simply not ‘the right time’.
