I hate bringing personal drama here these days bc it makes some things feel more real to write them out but there’s one thing I needed to vent

I honestly do genuinely hate how being fused with XIV makes both of us feel. We are amazingly stronger, a lot more focused, a lot more self certain and confident and independent. When fused I don't think there is a single thing we couldn't do if we wanted to do it and thats great and amazing. The power and the sheer autonomy is astounding, but it makes us miserable.

XIV and I don't really need more independence, confidence, and power. Independently we have more than enough, some might even say too much. Fused... at best its just not that helpful of an improvement, and worse, that strength directly makes us feel even more isolated and detatched from other people.

Vulnerability is a huge issue in our system, but its almost entirely foreign to XIV and I ourside of the weakness our extreme polar sides generate. Chunn has said it best, but we really need to work on reconnecting with our vulnerability to move forward in life and happiness and I think our take away from every time XIV and I temporarily fuse confirms that.

The stronger we are, the less happiness and peace we feel, the more apathetic and prone to antisocial drives we get.

Fusing would make us stronger, more successful, and just powerful at the very gery large expense of our limited ability to connect to people and be happy.

The power and strength is not worth it if it means we become someone we aren't haply to be.
