ok so like his first spiral isn’t as bad as the second but like it still takes him a. few days to be used to actually feeling like he doesn’t have to bottle up everything

Right!!! I think also eveb when he's "safe" there's still moments where his body forgets and falls back into old habits, so he'll be going about his day, body completely tense, and he won't even notice until someone points it out to him

#asks #mutuwuals #ds blogging #and this goes for like the ocd stuff we talked abt too #cos even when hes safe he still feels like he presents a risk to ppl #hes less worried abt him snapping and killing ppl so hes sleeping better #but he still wont let anyone clean up after him and he scrubs his skin raw in the tub just in case he brushes past someone in th hall #and thats like..heartbreaking to everyone else i think #this whole thing is a lot emotionally for everyone but i dont think it rly like #*sunk in* for ppl outside the group until they saw it for themselves #cos yknow zenitsu overreacts and inosuke exaggerates and its like 'oh it cant be THAT bad'#i think this is also sort of where kanao starts to feel actual concern #cos she knew ahead of time what it was doing to him but i think she still trusted him to come to terms w it and take better care of himself #and now hes safe and fine and getting help but he still wont come within 5 ft of her #and he lashed out at the girls when they tried to take his laundry #and its like...this is so far removed from who she knew #and thats like #when the worry hits for her
