              " what  ?  liz  ,  no  .  .  i  can't  just  keep  this  from  her.  i  feel  fucking  terrible  enough  as  it  is  ,  if  i  don't  tell  her  what  happened  .  .  "  but  there's  a  beat  where  he  considers  it.  a  split  second  where  he  realizes  the  consequences  of  her  finding  out.  but  ,  "  n - no  ,  okay  ,  i  have  to  tell  her.  "  yet  another  point  is  brought  to  his  attention  and  an  anxious  feeling  sinks  even  deeper  through  his  gut.  not  only  minseo  losing  her  ,  but  lizza  too  if  she  hears  of  this.  all  fault  would  really  lay  in  his  palms  then.  but  not  the  way  he  wants.  "  what  if  .  .  maybe  i  just  don't  tell  her  it  was  you.  yeah  ?  i  can  —  i  can  say  i  was  out  and  it  was  someone  else  or  something  and  she  won't  know , i  .  .  ——  fuck  ,  which  one  is  worse  ?  me  kissing  some  random  nobody  or  her  best  friend  ?  "

               despite  her  drunken  words  ,  lizza  unfortunately  meant  every  single  bit  of  it  ——  and  that  includes  her  regret  as  well.  utterly  embarrassed  she  was  the  morning  after  and  completely  mortified  she  continues  to  be  when  facing  the  recipient  of  her  text  messages.  ‘’  okay  ,  look  ,  you  know  i  am  literally  incapable  of  avoiding  things  when  there  is  obviously  an  elephant  in  the  room  ,  so  ...  ’’  and  as  she  starts  talking  ,  those  words  being  the  first  ones  she  speaks  since  meeting  up  with  him  ,  there  is  a  nervous  timber  in  her  voice.  there  is  nothing  lizza  hates  more  than  confrontations  and  this  one  confrontation  is  the  hardest  ,  considering  ——  ‘’  why  didn’t  you  reply  ?  ’’

Lizza mid-fight (2022)

Lizza doesn't let herself be hit in combat, so when it does happen, it can be a bit of a shock.

This one was a lot of fun to do; trying out some illustration techniques and refining some stylistic choices for how I draw goblins (which will probably end up having an overhaul in the near future). I think it worked out well.

Mild warning for very slight blood in/near the mouth, it's tagged but I don't think it's major enough to put a content warning on? Correct me if I'm wrong.
