I don’t think he can handle a lot of jealousy. 

I see a lot of headcanons about him being this possessive, jealous, overprotective guy, but that’s… really not how I see it at all?

The only reason he threatens Frisk in game (from my interpretation at least) is because they’re a very real threat, but he’s never shown to be hostile in any other situation. Everyone likes him because he’s so easygoing and charming, I can’t imagine him having any sort of jealousy issues. Like, genuinely not at all. I don’t think he ever gets jealous himself tbh unless he’s having a really really crappy day and you’re giving all your attention to other people, but even then it’s not in the “grrr you’re mine” type of way it’s in the mopey kinda sad type of way. I think he’d get super freaked if his partner had those types of issues. 

Like, a little bit is fine. It’s endearing when you cling to him and when you pout and try to get his attention. It can even be a little charming if you get a little huffy with the person making you jealous. He just draws the line at real anger. If you get legitimately upset about him talking to someone else then he really will not appreciate that. 

Willing to communicate with you about it if your jealousy revolves around only one specific person, can slightly compromise by putting a little distance between himself and that person (unless it’s someone he’s super super close to since before he even met you), but he’s not gonna accept unreasonable jealousy and anything he deems as controlling

Surprisingly little, but he won’t leave his partner over jealousy issues even if they’re bad — he just won’t accept it, and train it out of you LMAO

Listen it’s never your partners responsibility to fix your issues. but. Papyrus will fix your issues I’m crying

He tuts at you and scolds you when he notices you sending other people dirty looks for getting too close to him, but he isn’t necessarily cruel about it. He assures you that it is, of course, perfectly normal to be afraid to lose something as perfect and great as him !! But you don’t need to be because he loves you. And also, frankly, you need to get a grasp on yourself !! It is not very great to get angry about these kinds of things. Now, learning to control yourself, that is truly… beyond great !!!!!! 

Works on it with you, without ever entertaining your jealousy problems. Type of guy to legitimately change you for the better forever I'm so serious

Will, however, with a very heavy heart break up if there’s no end in sight at all. If you don’t even try to improve, and your jealousy creates actual anger in you, then you are unfortunately a danger to his friends and family and he can’t keep you around. But it probably won’t ever come to that.

Can handle surprisingly much, actually

You’d think a stern guy like him, who always insists you must retain a large level of independence from him even in a relationship, would hate it. And while, yeah, he doesn’t like it… he also really doesn’t hate it either. 

He’ll sternly tell you off if he thinks it goes too far (for example if you snark at the person you deem as haven gotten too close; he can defend his own honour perfectly well on his own, thank you very much), he’ll put up with more than you’d think.

Mostly rolls his eyes at your behaviour, calling it juvenile. He doesn’t mind it too much though. You would know if it really bothered him. He is not the type to let behaviour he doesn’t like just slip without a serious talking to with real consequences. Certainly not above demanding more space should he find that the both of you need the distance. You know he’s fine with it as long as it goes out on no one but him and in non violent/hostile manners. Sometimes he even grins, finding it a little bit charming.

Unless you have, like… SERIOUS serious jealousy issues, it won’t be a dealbreaker for him.

This bad boy can fit so many unhealthy coping mechanisms

He even finds it nice. He actively enjoys it. He WANTS you to be jealous. It feels validating to him that you want him so much you’re willing to fight on his behalf just to keep him. 

Only times he’ll mind it is if it goes out over the people he genuinely cares about. Will get super uncomfortable if you try to control what friends he sees, but will do as you ask because he’s afraid to lose you. This goes past jealousy to controlling and possessive, I know, but I’m trying to paint the picture of how bad it is. 😭 His self esteem is actually so awful, he’ll take whatever he’s given. If you’re not careful, he does become codependent on you. It’s no surprise then that he’s willing to accept unacceptable behaviour. 

Mal, however, will notice if it gets to a point and steps in. If your jealousy issues cause you to become controlling, the relationship will end. 

But, if we’re talking about how much he SHOULD handle, not how much he’ll allow himself to handle, I think it’s for the best his partner isn’t very jealous at all. Sometimes a little jealousy is obviously fine, that’s normal and human, but I don’t think it’s good for him to have a partner who will get too clingy or mopey, and definitely not mad at him, if they feel he isn’t with them all the time. Like I mentioned before, he has codependency issues; I think a partner who gets jealous might unintentionally feed into it. His partner needs to be able to encourage him to hang out with other people and handle him having friends if things are to work out well.

Whenever something minor goes wrong, like she drops a coffee cup or something, she immediately responds by reassuring herself. Doesn’t even say “oh no!” or anything just goes straight to saying “it’s okay, it’s okay… 🥺” (she does it for you too but it’s way funnier when she does it for herself. Gopher Wood didn’t gentle parent her or Sunday so she had to do it herself 💀)

Sunday

Often kisses you with his eyes wide open. Like WIDE OPEN. You don’t realise at first because you’re normal and close your eyes when you kiss, but once you do realise, kissing him will never be the same

You very often have a conversation where you’ll be like “oh I like [xyz]” and Sunday will look off in the distance with the most sad haunted expression and go “Robin liked [xyz]…” and it’s not funny for YOU but it’s funny for ME as a viewer looking in bro cannot stop trauma dumping about losing his sister 😭😭😭 (Do NOT accuse me of flanderisation here he only does it to you and nobody else because he only feels comfortable opening up about it to you pleeease I’m a star)

Like most people I think Aventurine is pretty open to a lot of things, but I think he also has a lot of hard limits and a lot of boundaries he hasn’t really thought about himself yet

Hard limits include hurting you, you hurting him, anything with leather, anything that makes either of you bleed, most types of bondage (esp handcuffs), any roleplay that put either of you in a position of authority over the other

(These are limits you discover a little into the relationship, because at the beginning, Aventurine claims he’s okay with everything and he would keep claiming that if he wasn’t in a very loving and stable relationship. He only feels comfortable establishing those boundaries when you’ve made it clear it’s safe to do so. 🙁)

Idk if you want me to go in depth about those hard limits because I have Thoughts about all of them but I’m assuming you want to get your freak on so I won’t go into too much detail about it, if anyone wants me to elaborate on it though feel free to send in an ask !!

I think a really big downside with him is he doesn’t really know himself how far these limits go and he doesn’t always communicate about it either. Like he’ll think light spanking is fine but then you’ll notice he kind of freezes up if you go for it during sex and after he’ll only admit he didn’t like it if you kind of push him to 😭

I think he’s a switch. I hate to say this because I know it plays into the fandom’s tendency of like,, further feminising and sexualising effeminate men and making them “bottoms” and all that but I do think he has a sort of sub lean. Or like power bottom sort of ? A brat basically. It makes me feel kind of gross to call him by these terms considering what the fandom likes to do to him but I’m using it as shorthand forgive me 💀

Like I think he likes having control, but with a partner he genuinely loves, he finds so much comfort in sort of just falling back and letting you take the lead. It’s a nice break because in his day-to-day life, he either needs to be in perfect control constantly or, when he does lose control, it’s never something good and/or a sort of loss of control he purposely takes to in order to punish himself (like when he gambles. Sure there’s a good chance he’ll win, but can he be sure? He’s always afraid he’ll lose. It’s ultimately out of his hands, since he doesn’t cheat). With you, he’s safe when he does it. It is not a gamble, it is not a bet. You unquestioningly just take care of him and it just feels nice. 

At the same time, I think he won’t be as eager to let you lead at the beginning of your relationship. He doesn’t fully trust you so he won’t leave himself as vulnerable to you. Again, I think he has a lot of issues with control and power so that really plays into it. 

(Please god don’t take this as me saying that Aventurine is ‘naturally submissive’ or some weird shit like that I will ACTUALLY shoot myself !!!! I will commit I’ll do it !!!!!!)

I imagine his libido is pretty low in the beginning. He’ll go whenever you want to, sure, but he doesn’t initiate a lot. 

Quickly changes when he grows comfortable with you though. Once he actually really does love you he’d be more than happy to go like once a day or something wild like that he’s like an animal in heat for you dawg 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏

Happy to go at your pace though, because I really really don’t think sex is that important to him. A/N: Surprisingly I found this a little difficult IUESJhief I have a lot of experience with. having anxiety when I was younger. I think I was even diagnosed with it at some point ? Which is weird because I’m not diagnosed any longer and I no longer really get anxiety attacks so idk what the fuck that was erm. Anyways that’s beside the point. I really struggled to make Feixiao and Argenti different because I think they would handle it similarly (hence why Argenti’s part ended up so much shorter than the other two, cause I didn’t want to just. Repeat Feixiao’s whole part.) and I’m a little worried Boothill is ooc because I haven’t done the new quest and it seems like it showed a lot of his backstory so forgive me if I’m not up to date on that. Sorry about rambling I’ll get on with it now help

Reader has an anxiety disorder

Amazing at picking up your signals, amazing at assessing what course of action would help you most, amazing at following through with it

She can tell what sets you off, even without you telling her, and she has a lot of firsthand experience with handling other people’s anxiety (both from more intimate relationships and from soldiers she doesn’t exactly know on any personal level). It’s not hard for her to figure out what calms you down most quickly. 

Your episodes have never been shorter than they are with her around 🙏🙏

I’m not sure exactly how I imagine her handling it, because I think it switches a lot depending on what she knows about you. If she knows you find physical touch comforting, she’ll hold you and gently talk you down. If you’re the type who doesn’t need much reassurance, she’ll firmly remind you of where you are, that she’s with you, that you’re safe, etc, etc. She’ll find whatever solution works best for you. 

Apart from being great with damage control if you do have a panic attack, she’s also pretty good at preventing them from happening in the first place. 

If she recognises you’re stepping into an environment you’re likely to have an attack in, she’ll either steer you out of it if she can or she’ll make sure you’re in there for as little time as possible. Like, for example, if you’re bad with large crowds, she’ll usually just find a less packed road to take around the mass of people.

Obviously it’s unavoidable sometimes, and she won’t always be able to adhere to you completely because she does have a very important job that she can’t really put on hold for your sake, but like I said, she’s great at handling it then too. 

If something needs to be done but you can’t do it, she’ll do it for you (after gently trying to encourage you to face your fears and do it yourself — but she does quickly relent if she notices you really, really don’t want to)

10/10 would recommend she’s amazing

I feel like Boothill would be absolutely dogwater at preventing any anxiety attacks from happening, but he’d be great at stopping them once they do happen

Like obviously he won’t trigger you on purpose but he won’t tiptoe around the things that put you off either. Both because he doesn’t usually have much choice in the matter considering his line of work, and because he believes in exposure therapy. And because he maybe sort of kind of forgets. 😭

But he’d be great while you’re in the middle of an anxiety attack ! So that counts for something !!!!

He always manages to snap you out of it pretty quickly. Takes you out of the situation once he recognises the signs that the attack is coming, then gets you present in the current moment again. How ? That’s very simple. He confuses the fuck out of you

You know that tip about making someone having an anxiety attack bite into a lemon ? Yeah

(If you haven’t heard about it: a way to snap someone out of a panic/anxiety attack can be to make them lick a really sour lemon without any warning. The sensory input is really overwhelming and the person having the episode might be so shocked by it they kind of just snap out of it because who the fuck makes you taste a lemon when you’re at your lowest like that ???)

You’re curled up in a ball, hyperventilating because there are too many people, too many sounds, too many what-have-you ? Not anymore, now you’re too busy being confused and lowkey angry at him for shoving an ice cube down your throat. Like wtf are you doing my guy

Usually his little stunts do the trick to get you out of that headspace, and then he can just verbally talk you down so you’re nice and calm again. Will let you cool off while he solves whatever issue it was that led to your anxiety attack. Don’t worry about it anymore, he’s got this. 

If he can’t confuse you out of it, though, he’ll just do whatever you’ve instructed him to do while lucid. If it’s hugging you and talking gently until you’re calm, he can do that. If it’s to just take you into a quiet space and let you ride it out, no problem. If it’s to just continue on and let you just stand next to him, sure. 

Only thing he won’t do is to avoid your triggers altogether. He can give you a heads-up when possible, he can let you sit it out if you really need to, but he won’t (in his words) “baby you”. In his opinion, you’ll never get over it if you just avoid it forever. 

He says it in a kind of harsh way, but there’s genuine care in his tone and his expression, so you know he doesn’t mean it like that. 

All in all I think Boothill is really great if you’re the resilient type and you have the kind of anxiety that can actually get better through treatment, but if you’re sensitive and need someone who actively helps you avoid your triggers I definitely wouldn’t recommend him 😭

Obviously amazing at handling it is there anything he’s not good at ? 🙄 (/j)

He immediately becomes very serious when he realises your control is slipping, falls silent and looks at you worriedly. He recognises surprisingly quickly what’s happening, and steps into your field of view and crouches down, makes sure you can see his face. Takes both of your hands in his, wishes he didn’t have armour so he could let you feel his heartbeat.

He calmly talks you out of it. He sounds so sure of everything he does, to a point where you’ll question afterwards if he has firsthand experience with this. 

(He does. He used to experience a lot of anxiety and panic attacks as a child, it is only natural when you grow up surrounded by war; you’d never guess just looking at him now, though.)

He’ll obviously switch how he handles your panic attacks if you ask him to, but his default is to hold your hands (both to prevent you from accidentally scratching yourself, and to remind you he’s there) and to softly reassure you

I think he becomes sort of hyper aware of what triggers you, and does as much as he can to avoid it. Lowkey starts to baby you a little, but just a little, and even if it’s annoying it’s done with love, done out of a desire for you to be happy. It does put him in some tough spots though, considering it means he sometimes tells you to sit an adventure out, but the plan was for it to have the both of you and it’s harder to handle a lot of things alone 😭

Overall super good though I love him <3

I know that’s very little, but I will get overwhelmed if there’s more and never get around to finishing it otherwise 💔 Send in a second request with the exact same guidelines if you want more characters, chances are I might respond to both !! This just breaks it up into more manageable chunks for me :-)

Hiya!! This is RAWBIN, or just Robin. :-) This is my Undertale side-blog, but you can follow me on my main if you want to!

I’m 17 years old, so for now, no actual, and certainly not detailed, NSFW on this blog! ^^ There may be suggestive stuff, and there will DEFINITELY be sexual jokes, but I’ll tag anything too risqué as “NSFW”.

ANYWAYS, yeah. I’m non binary and go by all pronouns!! You can use gendered terms as slang, but don’t actually call me a girl or boy, please. :-)

I take requests for headcanons, short fics/drabbles, art and stuff like that. Just specify which of these you’re asking for when you send in a request, please!!

Also, my character limit for how many characters I will write for is... non-existent! I’ll take all and any of the ones listed below. Just know that the more characters, the more time it will take! (You can, in other words, request all skellies or, if you’re feeling spicy, you could say “dealer’s choice” and I’ll pick for you)

WHAT I’M OKAY WITH WRITING:

- Sans/Papyrus x Reader

- The following AUs: Undertale (obviously), Underswap, Underfell, Swapfell, Horrortale - keep in mind that I like Underfell the least, for some reason.

- Vague sexual headcanons (”is this character a top, bottom or switch?”) so long as it’s vague. I’ll ignore anything that is just too much.

- Headcanons about pretty much any character in any of the AUs mentioned (but the x Reader stuff is exclusive to the skellies, sorry u fish-fuckers. In this house we’re skelly-fuckers)

- LGBTQ+ related stuff

- Gen stuff (non-romantic stuff)

- Angst & major/minor character death

- Violence in general

- Yandere-related stuff but only if the reader-insert is the yandere. Sorry, no yandere skeletons here.

WHAT I’M NOT OKAY WITH WRITING:

- Character x character ships (Undyne x Alphys being the exception!)

- Any “-cest” ships. Pls keep your Sancest, Papycest and Fontcest out of here that shit makes me uncomfortable as fuck

- Straight-up NSFW or smut

- Anything involving racism - I’m white and nowhere near equipped/educated enough to be saying suff about that

- OC x character 

- This one is kinda odd but, nothing where the the reader-insert is all flustered and shy. It makes me feel? idk? Not very good? So yeah, none of that please lol

- Needlessly gendered reader stuff? If you want, like, idk. Cuddle headcanons, you don’t need it to say “female reader” or “male reader”. Only times I see a need to gender the reader is if it’s a headcanon about a trans reader and how the characters would support them. (I won’t disregard your request just because you gender the reader, but I will ignore the gender part.) I want to keep the reader insert as ambiguous as possible so anybody can, you know, be inserted into the place of the reader lol

- Controversial stuff. Trying to stay away from those kinds of things right now because, if I handle something wrong, I will get backlash and I’m not in the mental state to be handling that atm.
