I just don't see the appeal fr, all this pushing for him to come back doesn't make sense from a narrative point of view. Caleb said the same thing and suddenly people under the video were like "I hope Lucas dies next", like he was just telling the truth and it also clearly showed most people liked Eddie because he was a quirky white boy. If someone like Eduardo or Caleb would have played him nobody would fill out petitions to bring him back.

This is also the main reason I don't ship St*ddie because tbh Steve was looking rather uncomfortable with Eddie invading his personal space and the whole ship just screams two hot white dudes interacted twice so they have to be in love. You're so right Steve will be more upset about Max (at least I'm begging the Duffers to let him show emotions) than he will be about Eddie. I think he will appreciate Eddie's (dumb) sacrifice to keep Dustin safe but he won't feel guilty about it. Max on the other hand, it's established somehow that they had a deeper bond, Steve was the only older teen who got a letter, despite Max hanging around Nancy and Jonathan for the most part in s3. I hope they will give us some sort of information about their relationship, but literally Max and Dustin will be Steve's priority next season. At least I hope so because s4 ended with Steve being soley Nancy's bitch, forgetting he has other people he cares about.

Caleb once again proves himself to be best boy. Love him for that. Hope they give him something to do in S5. Anyway, Eddie was kind of just there and not narratively memorable in any way. I feel like he had less screen-time than S1 Steve, Bob, or Kali, so I just don't care about Eddie much lmao

I really hope we get some sweet scenes between Steve and the kids in S5. It's the only reason I'll be watching. Also I'd love for Steve to have something to do beyond pining for for Nancy, because that was just annoying and regressive to his character.

MY HUGE THEORY ON EL’S PLOTLINE IN S4

before you guys even start, YES I know that 99.9% of what I say is going to be wrong but this is literally just for fun.

its march 1986, middle of the school year and el HATES school

when we left her she was barely literate and had just started getting accostomed to speaking full sentences, NOWHERE NEAR a 9th grade level, so shes struggling in her classes to say the least

on top of that, she barely knows how to socialize with other people, so shes evidently getting picked on

with joyce and jonathan both working to keep the family afloat, will and el get left alone alot

but outside of the party, they socially have nothing in common

in fact, will is adapting to the new town a whole lot better than el. he fit right in with all the creative kids he met in class, but el didnt mesh with that crowd

anyway, our girl is sturggling

the only time she really has fun is when she visits hawkins, or when someone from the party visits them

which leads us to spring break

mike obviously comes to visit, and el doesnt want them to waste a single second so she begs mike and will to come explore the town with her

at this point joyce is already in her detective mode, hatching a rescue plan for hopper so she doesnt notice theyre gone

and jonathan is battling the heartbreak of nancy ghosting him when she was supposed to come visit

so the trio goes off on an adventure without anyone noticing.......... or so they think

because brenner is back, and he knows el is with the byers, but he cant go and snatch her because he doesnt have the resources all the way in california

in fact, he doesnt have the resources at all. his numbers experiment is seen as a catastrophic failure that lead to the deaths of hundreds of lab employees

the only way for him to redeem himself in the community, and gain his funding back is to present his peers with proof that the project can work, so he needs to get one of his numbers back

el is the only one he can track down, but he doesnt think he can do it himself. if she saw him, she could just kill him with her powers, he assumes because he doesnt know she lost them

so who does he employ to get el back to hawkins? lonnie byers

its almost too easy. it doesnt take much to bribe lonnie, and hey, its not like its his kid. so lonnie accepts the bribe, and goes all the way out to california to find el

he shows up at the byers house..... only to find it completely deserted. so he waits

and the trio finds him there after their day out (why are you here? what do you want? where are mom and jonathan?)

and lonnie, being as crafty as he is, comes up with a good excuse on the fly (hes craftier than i am because i genuinely have no idea what he would say)

anyway, he gets them in his car and on their way back to hawkins

jonathan shows up after theyve already left, and is too stoned tired to think anything of the empty house

and joyce is already halfway to russia

will knows his father. he knows that his father doesnt give a shit about him, the family, or anything about hawkins. he knows that his father wouldnt get involved in anything unless he had something to gain. so hes wraking his brain

maybe.... lonnie pulls over to take a suspicious phone call? maybe will figures out an inconsistency in his story? either way, the gang is onto lonnie and figures that they gotta get away from him and get back to joyce and jonathan

they tuck and roll out of the car. idk. all that matters is that they get out of there

as theyre rolling out of the car, el bonks her head a little and has a quick flashback to her time in the lab

since her intuition is always spot on, she takes this as a cue the breener is back and lonnie is working for him

she tells the boys it isnt safe to go back to california or hawkins, so they come up w an alternative plan, somewhere neither brenner nor lonnie would think to look for them

and while theyre on the road, they stop at a diner to eat (dont ask me where they got the money) and we get will leaving an emotional voicemail home, probably sobbing to jonathan about how much he means to will, which gives el an idea

because who has the resources to help her, as well as a desire for vengeance on brenner? kali

el uses her superb hitchiking skills to get them to chicago

maybe she just has some hints of her powers left, but it isnt too hard for el to find kali

she explains everything thats happened, and lets kali know that if she want revenge, the opportunity is hers

unfortunately, lonnie was hot on their trail, and called for reinforcements

theyre ambushed by the few employees brenner has working for him. initially, everyone is hiding, assisted by kali’s powers

but el knows they arent leaving empty handed, and would rather get taken away then have kali’s freedom taken from her

so el reveals herself, followed by mike because he wont leave her, followed by will because he wont leave mike

all three get taken away, back to hawkins lab, but now kali is even more motivated to bring down the lab once and for all

so kali and her gang get to hawkins, almost simultaniously with jonathan, who has been looking for his family in a frenzy since the morning he woke up to find eveyone gone, without even a note or a phone call, as well as argyle, who came along for the ride

the video store is being used as home base this season, so thats the first place they go, where they find steve, shortstaffed and not knowing whats going on because the whole team ditched him

they catch him up to speed on how EVERYONES GONE and steve catches them up to speed on how EVERYONE IS GETTING MURDERED

meanwhile, brenner has three predicaments

1) no matter what he does to el, what kind of torture he inflicts, she isnt using her powers because she doesnt have them. she tells him this several times. he refuses to believe it

2) lonnie byers is demanding his payment, which he didnt recieve because the deal was that he bring el to them, and he couldnt even do that

3) he has to find a way to dispose of mike and will, who he had no intention of bringing into the lab but theyre here and they know everything

and this is the moment where mike screws up by letting them know that people know theyre in the lab and people know about all the experiments and any second now, someones gonna come banging that door down to save us. nancy, jonathan, steve, robin max, lucas, dustin, kali-

and the second mike says her name he knows he screwed up

brenner decides in that moment that all he can do is round up everyone involved and get rid of them. conveniently, the string of murders occurring will serve as a good cover for what happened to them

and this is the part where joyce, murray, and hopper get back to hawkins

this is also the part where nancy and robin and the gang get back to hawkins

so nancy and robin immediately go to the video store armed with all the new information they learned from victor creel

..... and are met with jonathan, argyle, kali, and steve in pandemonium

they close the store for the day, and get ready to storm the lab

they realize that they need something from the school, so they head there to pick it up

and soon after arriving, theyre met with the all to familiar hawkins lab vans

they make a hasty escape, taking out some of the goons but they need to find a way to get the rest off their trail

they head for the woods, hoping to hide out in the cabin

meanwhile, the russia crew has taken the mostly demolished cabin as their haven to recover from whatever injuries they sustained

theyre all running through the woods, but they realize the people from the lab are closing in on them

and then nancy and jonathan pass a very familiar tree

they use whatever weapon they have on them to break through the bark, and head into the upside down

the lab people keep going into the woods, eventually finding hopper’s cabin

epic showdown between the russia crew and the lab people, joyce, murray and hopper win, they realize the lab is back, immediately head there realizing theyre gonna have to rescue someone

nancy and robin use the info they learned from victor creel to keep the gang alive in the upside down, max, argyle and eddie are freaking out because omg we’re in another dimention, we get some big reveal about the truth about the upside down and the gang makes their way out and head to the lab

and while this is all happening,we get some super emotional monologue between brenner and el (ala-the last 10 minutes of the truman show) and brenner realizes that el isnt going to be the naieve superweapn she used to be, and decides the best thing he can do with el is give her the standard punishment, time in the closet

and being in the closet triggers all sorts of flashbacks and emotions (mbb’s opportunity to show off her acting chops for an emmy)

joyce and hopper bust into the lab like they did in season 1, but this time they dont get caught

they decide to split up to cover more ground, and hopper finds el in the closet

and around the same time joyce finds mike and will and gets them out of there

here comes the REAL emotional performance

hopper sees her, we get a teary eyed “el!” “dad!”, and then hopper gets pulled away from el by lab workers

exactly the same way terry did

we’re watching this happen from el’s perspective, with a heart-wrenching “noooooooooo” from el, accompanied by cuts to every time el has had to be separated from someone she cares about (terry, the s1 ending, billy dying, her leaving kali in s2, saying goodbye to everyone on moving day, her being separated from mike and will when they got to the lab) accompanied by some terribly sad 80s song, then back to the present moment, she reaches her hand out and boom, the guards go flying. her powers are back

except she doesnt have control of them the way she did before, and now shes bringing the whole building down

her and hopper race to the the first floor, and meet joyce and the boys, they get out of the building at the very last second, and the whole thing collapses.

eventually they find the other group, the whole team is now together, they go and take down the big bad from the upside down, joyce almost KILLS lonnie

nancy and robin drop a huge bombshell that has to do with hawkins/the upside down, specifically pertaining to el, which they pieced together after talking to victor creel

we get a massive cliffhanger, season 5 starts like 10 minutes after the ending of season 4

Season 4: Happy Holidays? Not likely on Stranger Things

If the report is true, Stranger Things will release in December 2020 and be set during the Christmas season. My guess is Christmas break, allowing the fractured cast to meet up. This is quite the time skip though, being 17 months since the events of Season 3, and 14 months since the Byers moved. This gives a lot of leeway for the writers to do things.

Let’s take a look at what my (current) personal predictions/wants are.

1) The “teams”: We will have three. The first will be Joyce and Murray, and it will be related to the answering machine Easter Egg. The second team will be Nancy, Jonathan, Will, El, and Mike. I see Nancy going to visit Jonathan for the holidays, and Mike just begs her to take him along. Team three will be Steve, Robin, Lucas, Dustin, and Max. Perhaps Erica too, but I feel the cast is bloated already.

2) The antagonist: I would expect the Mindflayer to make another play somehow. Brenner would also be involved in some fashion. He may track down a now powerless El and attempt to continue his work. As much as I didn’t enjoy their involvement in Season 3, surely the Russians have to be involved after that credits sequence.

3) The setting and related challenges: The expanded Scoops Troop will be in Hawkins, and be largely on their own for their adventures, at least at first. They will get caught up in some kind of strange goings on, and Steve and Robin have to really step up and be responsible in the absence of someone like Hopper. “Detective” Byers and Intrepid Journalist Murray Bauman will be snooping around Chicago, which is where I think the Byers have gone. I don’t know exactly what they’ll find, but I can’t let go of Hopper telling Joyce she should come work with him. The sibling group will end up with the supernatural aspect, involving either Will or El and their powers or lackthereof. It could lead to them tracking down Kali.

4) Hopes: No more Mike and El being shoved down our throats. If they are still going to be a couple, I want them to be a real couple that actually does things besides make out. I’d like Will to develop powers of his own, unique and complementary to El’s. Maybe even allow him to be the one who saves his friends this time after years of being a victim. I want Steve to fully step up in his role and accept the kids as his family. He was still trying to play it cool last season, but he gets more mature each time we see him.

5) Will: I’m giving him his own segment here, because I will always have a soft spot for that boy. I want Will’s sexuality to actually be addressed instead of danced around. The anguish from him coming to the realization he’s gay could very well trigger his powers given the X-Men symbolism in Season 1. I want him and Mike to be shown as the lifelong companions depicted in Season 2. Only this time, maybe it’s Will doing the protecting. And please show Will finally getting his D&D session, even if it’s just a flashback. Let Will finish a season happy for once, even if it’s not to last.

6) I want the kids’ characters to be deeper again, instead of the reductive caricatures we had in Season 3. Let Mike find his light and be the courageous and loyal paladin instead of a wannabe alpha teenager, let Lucas regain his resourcefulness, intelligence, and pragmatism, let El grow beyond Eggos, Mike and her powers.

7) Hopper: Don’t make his return predictable. Please. When he comes back, let him look on those he left with pride in his eyes. 

8) Finally: reunite the party and bring the Byers family back to Hawkins. If it doesn’t happen in Season 4, there better be a Season 5. One of the aspects of Season 3 that I actually liked was how happy the party was to finally come together at the mall.

9) New Year’s Eve: Whether it ends up being part of the plot or just the epilogue, let New Years come into play. It represents new beginnings and could be a cliched, yet powerful, moment for some of the characters. I won’t hold my breath for Mike and Will though.

Edit: I just realized, the original NES released in 1986. We have potential for some Nintendo references and Easter Eggs.

who suggests new things in bed- Nancy. She’s into everything and pretty confident in her body, she started masturbating at a young age. Jonathan struggles to ask for what he wants, so Nancy is always suggesting something new and Jonathan loves it, much like he loves when she takes control and shows him what she wants. He’s so in awe of her he doesn’t know how to handle it. 

who cries at movies- Nancy. Only because Jonathan doesn’t cry, he’s been through too much in his life to cry over someone else. 

who gives unprompted massages- Jonathan. He just wants to take care of her all the time. And he’s good at it, one of the few things he thinks he’s good at. 

who fusses over the other when they’re sick- OK I STRUGGLED. But let’s do Jonathan, just because Joyce was always working and Will was a very sick child, he was always getting the flu, or colds, or pink eye or ear infections, and he would spend the night crying, no matter what Jonathan did. He’d tried soup and crackers, and peanut butter toast and home remedies and everything, but it didn’t work out. Nancy is obviously much better than a child, wrapping herself in all the blankets, shivering even though she has a high fever. She eats the soup he heats up for her and mostly just wants to sleep and cuddles, though she doesn’t want him to get sick, but he usually ends up getting it anyway, so he breaks off some layers of the blankets and lays with her, pushing her sweaty hair out of her face as she dozes. 

who gets jealous easiest- NANCY. Because everyone flirts with Jonathan, and why wouldn’t they - He’s tall with lithe muscles and bright eyes and a soft smirk and high cheekbones and he wears shirts that are too big for him and show off his biteable collarbones BUT JONATHAN NEVER NOTICES. So they’ll be sitting in line at the grocery store, Jonathan going to pay and the cashier flirting and teasing him, finding any excuse to touch him- just collect the coupons bitch like there’s no reason to touch him!!! And what is she, chopped liver?! Like she is a very cute and beautiful girl and they look nothing alike so Nancy is just pissed and she SLAMS the bread on the conveyor belt and storms up to Jonathan whos just letting this bitch STROKE his arm, and she slides a hand into his back pocket and squeezes, “Babe, hurry up, we’ve gotta get home,” she says stretching up to kiss his cheek. And he just turns like a dork and is like “Why do we have to get home?”  The girls face turns red as Nancy turns Jonathan’s face towards hers and kisses him deeply, purposefully smearing her bright red lipstick across his mouth, “That’s why,” she says with a smirk and he blushes and the girl slams the register drawer closed a little too hard and Nancy glares, daring her to say something, and they pack the groceries and when they get in the car, Nancy smacks Jonathan’s thigh, “What the hell!” but again Jonathan had no clue she was even flirting and he just stares at her eyes wide as she goes on about what is she chopped liver, with his wide eyes and red mouth and he swears he never even looks at anyone but her - and there’s red lipstick on his canine which makes Nancy laugh and she says, “ok ok I believe you” 

who has the most embarrassing taste in music- Nancy, only because Jonathan is lowkey pretentious when it comes to music. 

who collects something unusual- Jonathan, but again idk what he would collect. 

who takes the longest to get ready - Nancy. She is Karen Wheeler’s daughter of course and she always wants to look nice because Jonathan is always complimenting her lashes and kissing her lipstick off and Will is always asking how she looks so sparkly (highlight) and Joyce taught her how to do perfect winged eyeliner.. I’m crying in the club. 

who is the most tidy and organised- Jonathan. Nancy has no concept of being organized, and always messes up Jonathan’s CDs because she promises she remembers which one it is that had her favorite songs but she never does and she doesn’t understand why he needs them in alphabetical order anyway. 

who gets most excited about the holidays- Jonathan, they never had much money and his mom did have to work most holidays, at least part of the day, but she always cooked amazing homemade meals and made sure Will was taken care of and there was always so much love and happiness and Nancy has never really had that with her family, so he’s excited and cant even be embarrassed that they’re eating TV dinners on the living room floor watching home alone and Will has already eaten nine christmas cookies. Nancy laughs and places her bet on Will eating more cookies than Jonathan to which Jonathan just says “Are you sure you wanna go there Wheeler?” 

who is the big spoon/little spoon - Jonathan is the big spoon! 

who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports- Jonathan hates sports and is a big baby so Nancy is competitive and fierce and doesn’t ever want Jonathan on her team cause the boy has no sense of winning and she NEEDS to win.  

who starts the most arguments- Nancy- Jonathan is too passive and lets Nancy walk all over him, and when she calls him out on it or tries to apologize for something bitchy she said, he acts like its fine because people usually talk to him anyway they want anyway, and then she gets mad and they start arguing. 

who suggests that they buy a pet - NANCY BEGS. Jonathan eventually takes her shopping for a kitten. 

what couple traditions they have- They go on long drives out to the edge of town and sit on the hood of Jonathans car and blast music and smoke weed and make out and talk about how  they’re going to run away from Hawkins together. (However Nancy knows he’ll never leave his family and Jonathan knows she only started dating him to make her parents angry and no matter how sweetly she says “I love you” they’re only 17 and it will never last) 

what tv shows they watch together- they don’t watch a ton of TV, they’d rather listen to music or watch a movie, but Will got them started on Narcos and Game of Thrones. 

what other couple they hang out with - Steve and Kali cause why wouldn’t I go there? (; 

how they spend time together as a couple - Smoking weed, listening to music, cuddling, making out, driving, fucking, cooking, babysitting Will and El and Mike. 

who made the first move- Nancy because Jonathan is dense as a fucking pound cake. He notices Nancy’s flirting a bit more now but still, he wasn’t perfect. 

who brings flowers home- Jonathan. But Nancy brings Jonathan new CDs just as often. 

who is the best cook- THIS IS HARD. Shit. Ok. Let’s go with Jonathan ONLY BECAUSE they never had shit so he can make a meal out of ANYTHING. Real Talk. So I think that would make him the better cook. Also his grandmother used to own a bakery so this little dude can BAKE. And Nancy said his chocolate cake was better than an orgasm and so she always makes him make dessert and she makes her little hotdishes which are also bomb but again, when he can make Hamburger Helper taste homemade.. that’s good. But also Jonathan’s best meal is beef tips and gravy and homemade mashed potatoes and homemade biscuits - Nancy is convinced he’s trying to make her fat, And Nancy’s best meal is lasagna and garlic bread. (yes this bitch can WHIP together a fyre ass lasagna, Karen didn’t raise no bitch.)

Hypothetical Stranger Things season 3 plot outline:

Due to the Upside Down gate being closed off, I feel like season 3 will shift its focus to the rest of Brenner’s experiments. So logically, Linnea Berthelsen (Kali Prasad) will be a series regular, while Dr. Brenner will come back in some way. So here’s an outline I came up with.

One year after the gate was shut off, Kali (who has been abandoned by her gang) is approached by a mysterious person who reveals themselves as “One”. One says that she’s looking for the others like herself and that they need to stick together in order to survive. Kali doesn’t trust One but agrees that they need to find the others. Kali then points out that Eleven is living in Hawkins and they head out to her direction.

Note: For the sake of this outline, One’s power is mind control.

Eleven (now going by the name “Jane Hopper”) is starting her first year of high school. There’s a subplot where Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve are surprised at how fast Jane has gone through her tutoring sessions. We learn near the end of the season that due to Brenner’s experiments, she is able to absorb information much quicker than a normal human being (which is also why she could speak complete sentences at the start of season two). Also, her brain is superhuman in comparison to a normal brain. By the time season three starts, she’s as close to a “normal” girl as she can be.

The season starts off quickly when, during the first day of school, Eleven is attacked by another student. The student is revealed to be “Seventeen” and, unlike One, her goal is to find and kill everyone involved in Brenner’s experiments. Seventeen claims that Brenner’s legacy needs to be wiped out and that once she knows that everyone’s dead, she’ll kill herself. Seventeen cites the fact that Eleven opened the Upside Down gate as a reason why El needs to die.

Note: For the sake of this outline, Seventeen’s power is sound manipulation.

Eleven defeats Seventeen but spares her. Not knowing what to do with her and not wanting anymore government intervention, the gang decides to keep Seventeen in Dustin’s home. Dustin will be the member of the group who bonds with Seventeen the most. Since Seventeen is angsty and bitter, it’s Dustin’s sweetness and good nature that reaches her and makes her feel more comfortable in the group. 

(It’s like April and Andy’s dynamic from Parks and Rec, but not portrayed in a comedic way)

One and Kali arrive at the end of the Seventeen mini-arc (ends in episode 3). Eleven is initially drawn to One and her words of sisterhood while Mike, Will, Lucas, and Max are wary of this. Meanwhile, Kali bonds with Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve since they’re in the same age range. 

One’s arrival starts a chain of events that’ll drive the rest of the season. One, who has been collecting Brenner’s classified information, reveals to Hopper that Sarah’s death wasn’t natural, it was murder! Turns out, someone gave permission to Brenner to use Sarah for one of his experiments. The radiation ended up giving Sarah cancer. 

Hopper says he’s going to kill whoever sold his daughter out. This leads to Joyce and Jim following a lead from One, Kali and Eleven and then heading out of Hawkins to track Brenner down (remember in Lost Sister, he’s still alive). Also, the Jopper fan in me would write in a motel sex scene for them.  

Meanwhile, Kali still doesn’t trust One and recruits Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve to help her dig up more information on her. This leads them to Murray Bauman, who shows them several incidents where people around the country have reported that they were not in control of their own actions. It seems random at first but then Steve notices a pattern. All the reports correlate with where One has traveled.

For example, One says she was in Boston and the group finds an interview where the city’s mayor blacked out and didn’t remember his actions. The group starts to suspect One’s true intentions. On the way back home, the group is attacked by several people who are in a zombie-like state. Jonathan is knocked out by the crowd but the four manage to escape. Kali realizes that One somehow knew what they were doing and is behind the attack.

This leads to one of the big shockers of the season; Steve is being mind controlled. He attacks Nancy, who is reluctant to fight back. Kali uses her own powers to knock Steve out.

Meanwhile, Hopper and Joyce have tracked Brenner down, who is in hiding after his downfall. Brenner reveals that Hopper was the one who signed Sarah’s life away. Hopper doesn’t remember doing this and Brenner reveals that One used her powers to sway him. Brenner says it wasn’t personal and that One picked him randomly. Hopper ponders why One then led him down this path and Joyce realizes that because they went on this road trip, they left Eleven in Hawkins. Hopper and Joyce ask Brenner to help them take down One and Brenner agrees since he knows how dangerous One is.

The three drive back to Hawkins. The drive back is extremely awkward. 

Back in Hawkins, One reveals her true colors to Eleven. Although she presents herself as a loving leader who wants to unite the other experiments, she’s actually a psychopath who wants to destroy the country. The incidents that Kali, Jonathan, Steve, and Nancy discovered was One having fun with her powers and that she led Hopper to Brenner so that Hopper could kill him. Eleven asks why One wants Brenner dead and she simply says that Brenner had a leash on all of them and needed to die so they could all be free.

Eleven: “Free to do what?”

One: “Whatever we want.” 

One then says that finding Eleven was her prime goal since she wants her to reopen the Upside Down. One says that she’s jealous of the fact that Eleven could bring forth so much death and destruction, which repulses El. 

El finally turns on One when she finds out what happened to Jonathan and Steve. One tries to control Eleven but finds that she can’t due to Eleven’s heightened brain activity (going back to why Eleven can absorb information so easily). This is the same for Kali and Seventeen.  

Seventeen joins Eleven and the two manage to push One back. However, One’s army of mind-controlled people arrive. El says they can’t fight these people since a lot of their friends are under One’s control (namely Scott Clarke, Karen and Ted Wheeler, and Dustin and Lucas’ parents).

We then get another shocker; Mike is under One’s control. El begs Mike to snap out of it, which leads to Will knocking Mike out. 

With Hawkins under One’s control. the gang reconvenes in the Byers home. Jonathan wakes up while Steve and Mike are locked away. Seventeen, now one of the good guys, says they need to prepare for a fight. Eleven doesn’t want to work with Brenner but Brenner lists out a strategy to defeat One. He reveals a serum that he developed in case any of his experiments escaped. The serum temporarily removes their powers. When El asks why Brenner didn’t use it on her, Brenner reveals that he thought he could convince her to come back to him without it.

Eleven, Seventeen, and Eight volunteer to confront One, Brenner will form the serum, and everyone else will distract the zombie army. Billy Hargrove slightly redeems himself by driving around Hawkins to get the zombies to follow him. His car gets destroyed in the process.

So that’s the season finale. To add complications to all of this, Mike and Steve break free and attack the others. Lucas, Max, and Will are forced to fight Mike while Dustin fights Steve. The battle ends with Brenner being killed just as he finishes making the serum. Eleven uses her powers to send the serum right into One and, with One defeated, the girls let Hopper kill One as payback for Sarah. 

The season ends with the government coming back, putting the town under lockdown due to One’s rampage. Seventeen and Kali decides to stay while everyone tries to adapt under their new living conditions. As a teaser for season 4, the gate to the Upside Down reopens...but not from Earth’s side.

Something (or someone) else has opened the gate from the other side. Episode ends there.

who hogs the duvet - Kali, though she claims she doesn’t. However Nancy usually hides her own blanket in the crack between the bed and wall. 

who texts/rings to check how their day is going - Nancy mostly texts often and makes Kali call her as she walks to her car after work because she works later and Nancy is always concerned. 

who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts- Kali, she pays attention to every small thing Nancy says so she ends up getting many random gifts that she never thought she’d needs but loves because she’d randomly mentioned something once. 

who gets up first in the morning- Kali, Nancy never used to be able to sleep in so the girl will stay all day. Kali usually wakes her up around ten in the morning, with kisses and coffee. 

who suggests new things in bed - Nancy is one kinky motherfucker so she’s always suggesting something new, mostly because she’s been exploring her body since she got her own place and she mostly knows what she wants. Plus she just wants to do anything with Kali like anything she’s given a second thought to - like public sex or handcuffs.

(I do like your headcanon where she can send visions by touch) but Nancy finds comfort in touch as well so she always starts massaging Nancy. 

who fusses over the other when they’re sick - Nancy is used to taking care of Mike and Holly’s illnesses when they were sick. Giving them everything her mother never gave them, cuddles and cold baths and wash cloths on their foreheads, and homemade soup, and fresh clothes and blankets heated in the dryer for exactly 12 minutes. Aka she does the same for Kali. 

who gets jealous easiest - Kali, only because she has a super hot amazing wonderful girlfriend and she’s scared someone is gonna take her. (Little does she know that Nancy worries about the same thing.) 

who has the most embarrassing taste in music - Nancy. You may here one direction, big time rush and Camp Rock right after you hear Drake and Shania Twain.

who collects something unusual - Kali. Idk what she collects, but whatever it is she has a ton. 

who takes the longest to get ready - NANCY is so high maintenance that it truthfully is embarrassing. She has so many makeup and hair products that it’s borderline a problem and she usually has to roll out of bed a good forty five minutes before Kali to stand naked at the vanity getting ready, and then eventually Kali rolls out of bed to get ready and still finishes before Nancy. Every single time. 

who is the most tidy and organised- Nancy - Karen all but beat it into her, how to keep everything clean and organized, but Kali has never really had a lot of stuff that she had to keep clean anyway, so she’s a bit messy and unorganized. 

who gets most excited about the holidays - Nancy, only because Kali has never had any holidays, so Nancy shows her all of her traditions and they make their own, like driving around listening to Christmas carols and looking at lights, while drinking hot cocoa and eating cookies they’d spent all day making. Or watching Hocus Pocus the best movie ever. Nancy throws Kali a surprise party like three days in a row until she’s finally like that’s enough. Nancy is so excited to show Kali things that she treats her like a child, and Kali just grins and goes along with it because Nancy is so damn adorable in a Santa hat that she can’t let it go, even though if she has to eat one more chocolate Santa she’s gonna puke. 

who is the big spoon/little spoon - Kali is the big spoon, even though she’s only two inches taller than Nancy, Nancy likes to feel tiny tiny. 

who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports- KALI. Oh god she does not understand things like - let kids win- so Holly cries when Kali whoops her ASS at Trouble and Nancy is like dear god I’m dating a monster. Or when she straight up tackles Mike during flag football and nearly dislocates his shoulder. 

who starts the most arguments - Nancy- she can be the biggest bitch ever and knows just how to press Kali’s buttons and push her away. It’s been drilled into her mind from a young age that she is unlovable and she tells Kali all the time, which pisses her off more and more. Their arguments mostly stem from Nancy’s insecurities and internalized homophobia and she calls Kali on her shit, but in such a rude way that it ends with them screaming at each other until their both in tears. 

who suggests that they buy a pet - Kali and by suggest I mean beg. So Nancy takes her around to different shelters until she finds a perfect black cat with big green eyes. And Kali lets Nancy name her. 

what couple traditions they have- Saturday mornings are for sleeping in, coffee with too much creamer, bubble baths and naked cuddling and slow fucking until they have to get out of bed so they can at least grab the take out menus and pick out some food. The usually wrap themselves in blankets and argue over who has to get the door and they sit in bed naked and watch movies or netflix or whatever new shows they are on. And they eat and then they usually paint nails or braid each others hair and then eventually fall back asleep again. (This usually happens every saturday) OR when they’re running errands together, Nancy is always the driver and Kali controls the music and they buy iced coffees and drive around with the windows down and have too many pairs of sunglasses. 

what tv shows they watch together - Oh lord. So many. Nancy is a huge reality TV fan so all of the real housewives shows, Criminal Minds, Bates Motel, also any of those like Real ID shows that go into like the human psyche because Kali really likes that stuff. Or anything with women supporting women like - big little lies. 

what other couple they hang out with- Steve and JONATHAN. Joyce and Hopper. 

how they spend time together as a couple- Doing anything. Kali loves to read and Nancy chills beside her and watches her or is on her phone. They love to cook or do their hair and makeup or watch movies and shows or cuddle or fuck or go on long car rides. 

who made the first move- KALI. who knows if Nancy ever would have but Kali knows what she wants and goes after it and from the moment she saw her she knew she wanted Nancy Wheeler. 

who brings flowers home- Kali. Big huge bouquets that make Nancy wanna cry they’re so pretty and then she tucks them into Nancys hair and Nancy dries them and places them into journals.
