ANSWERING 24 INSTEAD OF 23 CAUSE I GOT MESSED UP

an oc i’d want to meet: oh man. uhhh… i don’t think i’d necessarily WANT to meet jailbird, as he is a petulant 14 year old, but i feel as if it’s my duty. twoka would be the most tolerable though. shes chill.

an oc most like me: i’m assuming sonas don’t count? in that case it’s kind of hard to answer. i try to put myself in all my ocs in some way. but, uh, i guess “unnamed protagonist” of the i in team — they’re based off my experiences. they’re the wolf in the middle here.

36 hours over the course of one week later, and I have 100%-ed Yooka-Laylee.  Oh my gosh, it was SO GOOD!  Just a huge ball of color and beauty and adorableness and humor (both mature and immature) and just a joy to play through.  Yooka and Laylee were great underdog protagonists, and their personalities and snark played off each other very well (and I like that Laylee was less bitchy/more snarky than Kazooie, seriously that bird could be meeeeean).  The story ended up having some intrigue to it, which I was worried that it’d be a little too two-dimensional.  I mean, it’s not Citizen Kane with bats, but still it was intriguing.  Anyway, I’m so glad to have backed it, and this is definitely my personal GOTY 2017.  It’s an absolutely charming game, and I can’t recommend it enough.

I have only one question now: Twoka-Laylee when?

AND SOME OTHER VARIOUS THOUGHTS BELOW THAT SPOIL THE ENDING:

I had predicted waaaay back when that Dr Quack would end up backstabbing Captial B and become the true final boss.  I was partially wrong.  The closest thing to a fight with Dr Quack was taking on his quizzes.  BUT...he did reveal that he was going to report Capital B to the bosses, and that he’d essentially been a spy the entire time.  So a little bit of backstabbing did indeed pop up.  Then they got locked in a tome, and Laylee decided to lock up the all-powerful book that they’d been looking for the whole game...not because of its unimaginable power or to keep it safe from any threats in the future, but because it’d only go up in value.  Laylee is a perfect.

But hey, my prediction was 50% correct, so I’m very hyped on calling that one.
