Location: The Odyssey, main deck
@alexpanganiban
Reluctantly, Akhila found herself on the main deck of the ship, alongside a fair few others. It was a cacophony of noise as everyone attempted to make their voice heard, over the droll benign music. Akhila clicked her tongue persevering as a young lad did the rounds in their rag-tag group. He seemed to be forming no rational plan to get them off. “I think you’ll find the lifeboats are gone.” Akhila interrupted. Even if it was a natural line of thinking, it wouldn’t help them, they were too late now the ship had listed.
She surveyed those that were too late for the easy way out. Akhila felt a pang of pity for an older gentleman who appeared close to her father's age, but thus far convivial. Then there was a young woman who hadn't stopped crying. It'd been forty minutes, or so Akhila assumed based off the regular intervals of announcements. “I recommend those that are capable explore possible avenues for getting off. Starting on the port side.” She turned her attention back to the noisy kid. “Then we return here.”

Location: The Cruise Ship (abandoned cabins)
Status: Closed for @alexpanganiban
Turns out that the upper levels of the cruise ship were much easier to navigate than the lower ones. Funny how that works, when things weren't waterlogged and all. Lokni found himself gathering four suitcases from around the cabins and consolidating them into one room, hoping to find clothing and other salvageable items.
Currently, the cabin the Lokni was in was small and quaint, a set of bunk beds and a single vanity made of white wood adorned the room. The bedding was designed with light blue and white striped covers, overlaying sheets with a navy blue anchor pattern. It was some sort of chic beach theme, however, that was lost on Lokni. After years of living in a trailer in the middle of the mountains, interior design wasn't as appealing. That was for people who had the means to do so. Despite this, Lokni could still appreciate the aesthetic. He had to admit that the design choice helped accentuate the natural light that came through the small cabin window- and made it clearer for him to see what he was doing.
His clothes weren't in the best condition, and compared to everyone else walking around on the island he felt a little out of place in his cowboy boots and tattered t-shirt. If he could just find something in his size, he would be thankful.
The first suitcase was a bust, he popped it open to reveal a collection of women's clothing, something that he didn't need. He was about to discard it from his stack but a glint of silver metal caught his eye. There was a single silver bracelet, with a small, pearly pink butterfly that glinted in the low light of the cabin. It was simple, but in its simplicity, there was an elegance to it that piqued Lokni's interest. As he turned the cool metal over in his hands a certain person came to mind, someone that this would look nice on. Feeling a little self-conscious, he pocketed the bracelet.
The next suitcase was a little more reasonable. This one had a collection of men's clothes, mind you, more suited for a vacation than tropical island survival. At this point, Lokni would take what he could get. There was a collection of rayon Aloha shirts- each pattern just as loud and obnoxious as the last. It wasn't his style, but it was light and breathable. Perhaps he could pull it off, using them more as a jacket than a standalone shirt. It might be too humid here for an undershirt, but he doubted that socially acceptable clothing was a concern here.
Next to the shirts he found two pairs of shorts, one khaki pair and the other a camouflage one. Lokni was biased towards the camouflage pair, as he suspected that if they were gonna' be here a while, he was going to have to hunt eventually.
Experimentally, he shirked his personal clothing items and tried on the green camouflage shorts with one of the Aloha shirts. This one in particular was scarlet with orange hibiscus flowers overlayed in a flamboyant pattern. He turned to the mirror at the vanity below the cabin window. It wasn't optimal, but it would get the job done.
Lokni was about to change back into his own clothes when from the mirror's reflection, he glanced a flicker of movement. He whirled around, his fingers fumbling for the knife at his belt- only to find that it wasn't there as it was on his own, personal pair of jeans. "Is someone there?" Lokni cautiously called out to the hallway.

Aurora's reply didn't help her understand where she and Archie would land. Replaying it over and over while walking around the corner from the apartment, is the equivalent of self torture. Putting space between her and the apartment, letting the cold air dry the tears that fell down her cheeks didn’t give her the peace she thought it would. Holding herself together was becoming harder and harder with every step. She thought about her life, and knew Archie had provided enrichment that no one every had. Which stirred even more self hate with her choices and wondered what she could have done that would have produced a different outcome. Whether she admitted what she did today, or three years ago, she still would have lost him. Looking up, she recognized the familiar shapes of Archie and Alex, "Oh fuck," she murmured, taking deep breathes to surppress the sobs.

Henry was still having to get used to how different things were around the White House than they were back at the palace but he was enjoying getting the chance to be here to help Alex out in the preparations for the big inauguration day. He carefully made his way through the building, slipping past assorted interns until he got to the little office that had been given to Alex while he worked "Alright, enough work for now, it's been several hours and you need a break" Henry said with the unearned confidence that came naturally to his family. He carefully lay out a tray of tea and cookies, though it killed him to not call them biscuits whenever they were with company, and looked over Alex's shoulder "Yeah you definitely need a break because a more alert Alex would know sitting those two next to each other is just asking for a civil war to break out by the end of the night so come on, grab a cup and relax" he whispered, kissing the man's cheek tenderly before moving to take the other seat in the room "So, take it we might be here a lot longer today to finish up all those preparations?" he asked as casually as he could while picking up his own tea and taking a little sip of it.

location: valdez museum's greenhouse , 11 pm .
the gentle hum of the generator still hums even in the greenhouse , the outside stilled with the absence of anyone else wandering the streets . perhaps the only consquence of the world crumbling in its evolutionary pressure to adapt that she's grown to love is the silence - no more planes to fill the sky , or the abundance of cars that wrecked havoc on the streets but rather , just mother nature healing in the wake of death walking . yet , she hears the snap of a branch behind her , grip on the baseball bat leveled cause the only real danger in these walls are people . ❝ i figured you were going to join eventually , ❞ there's no need to glance to her side to recognize the rather clumbsy approach of the other female . ❝ cannot sleep either ? ❞

with alex caldwell @ briar beach boardwalk , mid - afternoon ; summer music festival !
briar ridge's summer musical festival was proving to be less enchanting than the lofty expectations that had been painted for her. the atmosphere buzzed with excitement , and it was undeniably a bustling spot , with a crowd much larger than she had imagined. however , despite the lively energy around her , this was not the kind of environment in which farrah felt comfortable. farrah had always preferred the solitude of the tennis court , where the sound of sneakers squeaking against the court and the rhythmic thump of the ball were far more inviting than the cacophony of small - town chatter surrounding her now.
the vibrant music and colourful vendours had drawn in a throng of festival - goers , yet farrah couldn’t shake the feeling of being out of place. as much as the spotlight and being the centre of attention agreed with her , social gatherings were never her forte ; they drained her in ways that competitive sports invigorated her. the only reason she even thought about coming to this festival was because her daughter , emerie , had relentlessly pleaded with her to attend. emerie's enthusiasm for spending time with her friends and enjoying the festivities was infectious , and it tugged at farrah's heartstrings. how could she say no ?
so here she was , standing on the fringes of the crowd , forcing a smile with emerie in her arms while internally grappling with her discomfort. she was grinning and bearing it because while for once in her life , farrah felt like an outsider looking in. emerie wiggles in her arms , dancing to the live band’s rhythm , and for a moment , farrah allowed herself to feel a flicker of joy from her daughter's exuberance. perhaps she could find a way to embrace this festival , if only for emerie’s sake.
❛ where are we going next , ej ? is it face painting time ? ❜ emerie nods her head viciously. a squeal of excitement leaving her lips. farrah hypes her daughter up by bouncing in her arms. ❛ what are you going to get , baby ? maybe some pretty flowers and sparkles ? ... i think i'm going to get a butterfly. ❜ emerie points at alex next , and farrah looks over at the father of her child , the next words she says with a mocking grin. ❛ what should daddy get painted , ej ? ─ how about a clown. ❜

she forgot how adorable it was when he’s seemingly flustered. it’s was one of the reasons she’s always felt so drawn to alex – the difference in him compared to anyone else she’s ever encountered. it was refreshing and she liked that. still did. which serves as a reminder of why she decided to disappear to begin with. though, it doesn’t stop zoey from interacting as opposed to running for hills. “ oh, really? ” the brunette nods, keeping the same grin on her face, “ you tellin’ me you came all this way to photograph a weddin’? ”

@wildcxrds (Alex), from here.
"Is it really such a surprise?" Sigyn smiles softly, fully aware that most people would surely expect her to want the complete opposite. But then, she's never really fallen into that way of thinking. "I've heard a little about you from Thor, but that's not quite the same as getting to talk to you myself, is it?"

+ ASH / THE SANCTUARY
"Looks like you're about to lose a hundred bucks," Alex laughs as he shoves his brother's shoulder, the crowd loud around them as one of the fighters in the ring goes down. "It's fine, you've never been good at placing bets so don't be too hard on yourself," he says, taking a swig of his drink with an easy grin as he cheers the fighter he put money on. That is, until the fallen wolf jumps up and within seconds, the other fighter was on the ground. "That was a dirty shot!" Alex yells as others boo. Never mind that it's an underground fight ring. His cocky grin is a frown as he seems about to lose a Benjamin, and not his twin. @dxrkenedheights

closed for alex / @xallmywolvesx / the stables.
There was something about the stables that reminded Addison of home. Whenever she felt her muse wavering, she often found herself coming here as a way to clear her mind a little— gain a new, or familiar, perspective. “Alex ! ” She beamed, smile bright as she turned to see the owner approach. “It’s been a while, how’ve you been ? I hope you don’t mind me stopping by, you know I love it here.”

As the sounds of the car pulled into the driveway, the brunette knew it had to be Alex. She'd found something worth him looking at. Since he left the house that morning, Naomi had been hard at work, calling her business partner, and trusted friend to tell her about the events that transpired in the last couple of days. The main events being that Alex found her at the apartment, she moved into his apartment, and they were now working with the siblings to finally take down the man who caused all the damage. After catching up, they got to work. Naomi opened her untraceable computer and did her regular sweeping, she'd barely left the placement at the desk until the sound of her name being called through the house pulled her out of the work trace she'd been under. Walking downstairs, she smiled at the sight of him, though it faded ever so slightly with the look on his face. "Hey, you okay?" she asked as she reached for his hands.
