Devaneios de um domingo de manhã

Ele acordou estirado no sofá da casa do seu amigo por volta de umas 9h da manhã. Ao abrir os olhos e olhar para o chão, o reflexo da noite anterior: o tal amigo deitado no outro sofá, já acordado, com um cigarro aceso entre os dedos, e mais dois deitados no chão, meio bagunçados, em meio a mil latas de cerveja e cinzeiros cheios. O videogame ainda parecia estar ligado. Levantou e foi no banheiro lavar o rosto, não sem antes apertar a mão do amigo. Para depois lhe dar um abraço e ir para sua casa.

Ao abrir a porta, e passar pelo corredor, os raios do sol já mostravam o quão bonito aquele dia seria. Abriu o portão, casaco na mão direita, mão esquerda no bolso, sol no rosto. Pensou em atravessar a rua para pegar o ônibus, que não estaria cheio a essa hora. Pensou mais uma vez, e decidiu ir a pé para casa. Afinal, uma caminhada de 20 minutos não mata ninguém. Pelo contrário.

Ao seguir na rua, ele percebeu o quanto domingos são pitorescos. Pais dando a mão a seus filhos, saindo da padaria com pão fresquinho. Outros, ajudando seus pequenos a andar de bicicleta. Andou mais um pouco, pessoas extremamente ativas (ah, essa geração saúde) já malhando e suando como se não houvesse o amanhã. Ele riu ao lembrar do quanto a vida dele era sedentária. O pessoal mais velho jogando futebol no campo ali perto. O sol. A rua tranquila, a paisagem bonita e sutil que o domingo traz junto com ele. Atravessou a rua mais a frente, olhando as pessoas que pareciam muito felizes andando. Olhou para uma casa. Pensou em cada família que deveria estar tomando café da manhã reunida agora, com sorrisos no rosto e já se preparando para fazer o almoço, receber os parentes. Pensou em quantas pessoas estavam estruturando a vida metodicamente. Ele riu mais uma vez. Nunca foi um cara de planos. Sempre vive cada dia como se fosse último, não acredita que o futuro exista, e nem sabe se vai estar vivo amanhã. Se vai estar vivo quando chegar em casa. Então, ele segue sua vida sem muitos rodeios, sem grandes acontecimentos, enquanto vai andando na rua. Passa em frente a uma (das muitas) padaria, o rapaz está colocando um espeto com galetos dentro daquele forno que fica na rua. Batatas assadas no fundo. O estômago dele roncou. E ele achou engraçado como na mesma hora, um cachorro se aproximou e ficou encarando aqueles galetos, como se fossem a oitava maravilha do mundo.

Chegou na sua rua. Deu bom dia pra vizinha sorridente que todos os domingos de manhã se senta à porta de casa, para tomar um sol. Abriu a porta de casa. Seu cachorro pulou em cima dele, como se ele fosse seu super-herói. Abraçou o cachorro, se deitou na cama com ele. Acendeu um cigarro. 9h50 da manhã. Pensou em como existem detalhes que ninguém percebe. Pensou que se ele tivesse voltado de ônibus, as coisas seriam diferentes. Ele perderia partes que podem parecer efêmeras quando você só olha, e não vê. Enxergou que a simplicidade é a grande jogada da vida. E ele ainda tinha toda a vida pela frente.

My hardest goodbye

Een grijs vestje aan, een muts op mijn hoofd, een koffie in mijn rechterhand en een hoop zenuwen die gierden door mijn lijf, zo begon ik mijn allereerste activiteit als leidster bij Min19.

Ik moet zo'n 17 jaar oud geweest zijn. Een kus van mijn toenmalige vriendin op mijn wang om nog een beetje hoop en moed te geven, om de dag te kunnen doorstaan, en dan begon ik eraan. Een groot bakkes, maar een zeer klein hartje, dat merkte je toen wel aan mij. Een dag om nooit te vergeten en vele complimenten achteraf om mijn eerste keer als leidster in de verf te zetten. Het was mooi.

Met veel spijt in het hart en hier en daar wel een figuurlijk traantje erbij, neem ik afscheid van iets dat mijn leven typeerde. Zo'n 4 jaar lang zal ik als leidster (en af en toe eens al financieel verantwoordelijke) bij Min19 geregeerd hebben. Maar er is een tijd van komen en gaan. En die tijd is nu aangebroken.

Ik zie mezelf nog als hyperactieve 15 jarige naar een activiteit trekken. Totaal niemand kennend, trekkend naar een nieuw avontuur. Een avontuur dat een serieuze weg heeft afgelegd. Vele vrienden leren kennen, hier en daar wat drama (dat overal voorkomt in "Gayland"), liefdes die zich ontwikkelden, tranen die vloeiden, geweldige weekends, legendarische kampen, enz. Een mooie tijd die in het achterhoofd blijft en zich ook in een mooi, blauw doosje bevindt.

Ik neem afscheid van jullie, lieve schatten.
