i started rewatching bfdi from the beginning yesterday -- i still i stopped watching around 2 years ago, last thing i knew was bfb and tpot were being released concurrently-- but i had NO IDEA that they're still making bfdia???????? after a decade????????? thats so exciting

ROUND ONE - Herbert P. Bear (Club Penguin) VS Snowball (Battle for Dream Island)

!!! PROPAGANDA BELOW !!!

HERBERT: "Herbert may be a fandom darling in our fandom of like, 20 people. BUT DON'T LET THAT FOOL YOU! He is a conniving, EVIL bear, and a professional jerk and some highlights of his jerkishness include... - Spending ten years of his life (by the time the game closed) trying to destroy the Penguin Secret Agency and Elite Penguin Force (both were agencies that protected the island from disasters and villains like Herbert) with varying success... - SUCCESSFULLY destroyed the Penguin Secret Agency with a popcorn bomb, which destroyed their HQ. It should also be noted that while doing so, he locked in the player, Rookie, and Gary the Gadget Guy, presumably so the bombs explosion would have killed them all. -Teamed up with the EPF to stop the Ultimate Protobot 10,000 and the Test Bots, a small group of four dangerous robots after he personally brought them back. When Protobot went "too far" for Herbert's standards by threatening the environment and trying to completely destroy the EPF (despite the aforementioned Popcorn Bomb incident literally destroying the PSA, and also a certain Operation: Blackout), causing him to temporarily switch sides. This might sound like a character growth moment...except for the fact that he immediately betrays them once Protobot is dealt with and attacks and damages the EPF's HQ using a robot hydra made for the Medieval Party that he stole. - A canonical ex-dictator. Don't believe me? Look up Operation: Blackout on the Club Penguin Wiki! He froze several agents during his reign of terror, was open to freezing innocent civilians, and also wanted to do away with puffles- the pets of penguins. He also banned several hobbies and professions during his reign (being a Ninja, a DJ, a Pirate, etc) for no reason other than disliking them. He also destroyed the EPF'S HQ and exposed two agents' private information to the public. This means Herbert is the first and only character to canonically dox people he doesn't like on Club Penguin. -Was planning to bomb the EPF literally two months later with a hot sauce bomb (makes sense in context of the game and yes, it is more destructive than it sounds). -Brainwashed puffles into digging coins for him purely because his henchman, Klutzy the crab brought a coin slot to use for his DIY heater, instead of just removing the coin slot and retooling it to work without one like a normal person."

SNOWBALL: "OMG. SNOWBALL. SB. BABYGIRL. MI PRINCESA. HE IS SUCH A JERK. ok so for starters he is very arrogant and cocky (like a jock) and he thinks of himself as better than other contestants. snowball is also very stubborn and doesn't like people telling him what to do, and he often ditch or hurt his teammates for the sake of the challenge, thinking he was in the right to do so. he often intimidates and threatens the hosts of the show he competes on (x in bfb and two in TPOT) and he is also bery unlikeable both to fans and in universe. he was so unlikeable that in the firsr season of the bfdi franchise in a vote to regoin, he got the least votes out of 21 contestants with 8, less than 1/100 of the total votes. because of his behavior he made a reputation for himself among the other contestants, and was picked last for team making in the 5th season/TPOT. even on his new team in TPOT he is give the cold sholder by his teammates. OK NOW TO THE JERKY STUFF HE DID. so first of all he has killed at least 10 people, and he has hurt multiple contestants out of rage or for the challenge multiple times (some examples being when he broke fanny, a member of his older team from season 4 for telling him what to do, or him setting grassy, another member on his team in the 5th season on fire for the challenge. or the time that he punched grassy off inti the distance twice because "he felt like punching something "in episode 3 of TPOT). snowball also sabotaged his team in a challenge on purpose purely because of his ego (episode 4 of TPOT). he is also pretty rude to pretty much anyone and everyone, including hosts. only begrudgingly listening to them if it benefits himself. that is it (sorry for the really long propaganda he is my comfort and my favorite character from his series, i have been nominated as his no. 1 fan)"

A new theory has arisen!

Hello again friends! Or hello there new friends!

I just wanted to bring up this scene! Here, inside fours head, we see this little playroom. Since there isn’t much said or portrayed regarding it, ill just give two basic theories.

1. This could be where four used to go when he was younger (or when he doesn’t want to socialize) that he created, probably a long time before bfb (given how well decorated everything is) or before four saw bfdi at all considering the total lack of anything bfdi. This could also imply that its been years since hes last entered the room. (Also could explain why he decided not to go in there?) Also, since there are other algebralians on the wall, this could also show how much he genuinely values his fellow algebralians?

2. This was an active commune spot for the algebralians to go into and chill together, which is proven by the evidence that their stuff (at least nines skateboard) is in said room. This can also be further proven if you see the lack of anything bfb or bfdi, which would be weird in a public place. Plus, the algebralians KNOW about fours power to sort of pull people into his head of a pocket dimension, and this could be the reason why (considering there wouldnt be much any other way to really know about it since it wouldnt be used.)

But these two ideas are probably obvious to most. (Oh well.)

A timeline of my history with the Object Show Community

If you didn’t already know (how would you, I’ve literally never told anyone before), Object Shows are actually my favorite YouTube web series of all time. I’m gonna chronicle my experience with them in this post.

2018

I was scrolling through YouTube one summer night, as one does, and I saw a video called X Finds Out His Value. I watched it, went to their channel, and watched the entire BFDI series in one night. I tried to watch BFDIA 1, but for some reason I didn’t like it, so I just fell asleep and kinda forgot about it.

2019

One day, my brain went “hey, remember that show you watched last summer? You should finish that.” Then I watched all of BFDI and BFDIA in one night, and just kinda forgot about it again.

2020

I never went out of my way to watch any of the show, it was just on my mind a lot. I found out that there was, indeed, an Object Show Community that year, for whatever that’s worth.

2021

I finally decided to watch BFB. I don’t remember what my feelings on it were then, because I made the fatal mistake of putting the episodes on as background noise while I did other things. When I realized I had no idea what was going on at any given moment, I kinda fell off of it again.

2022-2023

The only year of my life since 2017 that I didn’t have some interest in BFDI. I had a weird dream about it and a friend who was into it, though.

2024

The biggest Object Show hyperfixation I’ve ever had. I watched all of BFB, TPOT, Inanimate Insanity, and ONE this year. I’m much more active in the community, have a few OCs, and my favorite characters are as they’ve always been (Pen, Tennis Ball, Gaty, Balloon, Suitcase, Cabby, and Charlotte). Don’t really have much else to say, so let me say my opinions on each of these:

BFB: Not really a fan.

TPOT: Really like it.

II 1: Kinda have mixed feelings on, but overall, enjoyed.

II 2: Actually my favorite season in the Object Show Community.

II 3: Mixed feelings, mostly due to a certain object and a certain seven-letter word starting with “S” and ending with “r”.

HFJONE: Very cleverly written, especially with that twist revealed a couple episodes in which I won’t write about for reasons pertaining to the aforementioned seven-letter word.

All-in-all, I genuinely don’t think I’d be the same person if not for Object Shows. Thank you, Michael, Cary, Adam, and Cheesy HFJ.

TPOT 13 RAMBLE

How we feeling BDFI fans?

Well, you're about to find out what I am feeling so lets get into this nonsensical ramble since y'all seemed to like the last one for some reason

1. ONEE??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?

Okay so ANY chance that One isn't a villan is uh. Dead and buried. And honestly it should stay that way I really enjoyed her this episode! BFDI was lacking a true villan

I actually predicted their deal with Basketball in this episode a while ago soo yea (more about Basketball later, dont you worry)

What about Bell and Bomby (And now Needle and Barf Bag)? WHERE ARE THEY? Well, dear reader who probably does not care, I have a theory!

I think that they are in One's version of the EXIT

If my theory that the place TPOTs eliminated contestants is a "Two EXIT", is correct, it is likely that every algebralien has something like that.

Did One and Three interact like I hoped they would? No. Buut another thing that I really fucking liked in this episode is the confirmation of One's motives. And that, as you have seen is

Two's power. Why does she need it? We don't know. To free Three, to take over the world to do something else.. I honestly can't wait to find out

TLDR: I loved One in this episode bro

3. Eliminations and the rejoin

So I got a few things right in my tpot 13 predictiom post (i think) but I have been completly wrong with who will be eliminated

Barf bag: I was kinda expecting it..? I mean I'm still VERY sad about her elimination DONT GET ME WRONG but I kind of knew that her time was coming. But

NEEDLE?!: GUYS. GUYS COME ON. I THINK THE ONLY THING MORE SHOCKING THAN HER ELIMINATION WAS FIREAFY ANGST IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2024. I actually thought that she would EASILY be in top 3 but I guess she wasnt. But the whole thing with pen was so good rahshsggdhshs im still not over it

The double rejoin was a welcome suprise, even though I know it will have a huge impact on the story later. I voted for pencil because I wanted to see her interact with the alliance (and she did yippie), but LIY joining is also very good, she was eliminated way too early imo

I voted for pin because. Shes pin. I love pin (and I also think that Tree and Black Hole will get enough votes to stay no problem wait apollo what are you doing no put the dodgeball dow-)

I also voted for snowball! He was great in the last few episodes and i hope it will stay like that

TLDR: Needle deserved better

4. Random shit (this will be long)

1. THE MENTION OF GELATINS STEAKHOUSE IS ENOUGH FOR NOW BUT PLEASE, WITH THE FIREAFY SIDEPLOT THING LET HIM APPEAR AGAIN JNJ PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I WILL BE SATISFIED WITH ONLY SEEING HIM IN THE BG AS LONG AS HE APPEARS PLEASE (you will not guess who my favorite character is)

2. Fireafy? In the year of our lord 2024? Am I repeating this joke? Maybe?

But seriously, their appearence was a huge suprise and seeing as Leafy (probably) got kidnapped by One, it will most likely turn out to be a sideplot (bonus points because the robot flower one ended)

3. Gatys paint falling off a bit. Idk why but that detail was so good rahdgsusghejs

4. Fanny and BH being friends is something I did not expect that much but its cool. (They are MLM WLW solidarity to me)

5. Im a bit dissapointed that Three didnt make an appearence in this episode but whatever. (They will appear in tpot 14 guys trust me)

6. Congrats to Pillow for actually doing something and not having your team be UFE again seriously I think it was like 3 times in a row

7. I know it was basically nothing. But seeing Price Tag and Book interact with each other makes me so happy you have no idea

8. I KNOW IT WAS BASICALLY NOTHING. BUT SEEING TB AND GB INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER MAKES ME SO HAPPY YOU HAVE NO IDEA

9. Two sleeping was kinda funny (this also implies that algebraliens need sleep)

@ecto-hazard's osc meme but Meeee :3 generally i was trying to go for shows Specifically rather than camps/other osc media to challenge myself, but yknow. more explanation below the cut!

First Show: i first saw bfb 1 around 2018, and watched bfb 1-12 in august 2018. i went back to watch previous seasons once i finished every episode of bfb that was out at the time. i didnt know about there being More Object Shows until december 2018, when i watched inanimate insanity. i consider december my "osc join date" and august my "osc discovery date" Favorite Show: ive seen over 55 in my 6ish years in the osc. a lot of them are so different theyre kind of incomparable to one another. favorites include HfjONE, BFDI, II, Object Invasion (sentimental fave. RIP OIR 2016), PPT2, BOTO, + more. i cant choose a singular fave though! Favorite Hosts: two is probably my all-time favorite osc host character. i like them lots. airy's also really incredible, mephone4 and 4s are honorary show host mentions, and rune is there because Well he has camp host cuteness. Favorite Contestants: too many to list. amelia hfjone is Very important to me. book, pin, leafy and cake were big ones i like that come to mind, but i really like almost all bfdi characters! yin-yang and paper/evil paper inanimate insanity are Massive ii faves, but tissues, lightbulb, soap, suitcase, taco, mic, and cabby are also lovely to me. object invasion is a really memorable show that i was really into for my first years in the osc, and ive always liked phone, coffee, n jellybean lots. Favorite Ship: Editez. Nobody is surprised. editez is kind of the only sorta ship i engage with often, n a lot of that comes from its importance within tesla entries/manmade horrors canon. tissues and soap is a sorta rarepair i like to rotate in my mind sometimes n think about what couldve been, though i definitely see it more queerplatonically than anything. twogaty is a duo i like in pretty much every flavor. honorary mention to scentpack, but i think in canon theyre a bit too unwell to have anything going on LOL. Your OC/Sona: computer fan! my (debatably) second objectsona. my first ever OC was orange soda (who was originally my sona, but is now separate) n i used her for 3 years. after that i made computer fan!! i had 2 other objectsonas technically, but they only lasted for about 2 weeks before i went back to computer fan. one of which was repurposed as an OC (hi spinner!) and the other given away to someone i know.

Tbh I used to hate Pencil from BFDI, like, REALLY hate her. I even made a hate video about her- All of this was because of BFB 1 and 2, it was my first exposure to her, so bad first impression But I didn't watch all the seasons yet at that time So I was stuck thinking she was a complete asshole for about a few months? A year maybe? Anyways In some youtube videos I watched I heard she was mischaracterized in BFB because of a new writer that either didn't like Pencil, or just the whole alliance, and I went "OH SHIT" Now I like her </3 After rewatching the seasons a few times and trying to do a character analysis on her, I can say that it's JARRING seeing BFDI Pencil be an actual good friend while BFB Pencil is just AWFUL I don't know if the mischaracterization is true, or just a rumor, but oh my gosh it's CRAZY for me rn, but ahhh- I misjudged Pencil way too quickly, I think I owe her an apology
