The knitter returns...

So I mentioned a little earlier that I've been experimenting with knitting. It really is a nice hobby (as long as my poor hands can handle it, I guess. If I develop arthritis in the next 5 years, I'm blaming on the needles... ) I figured I'd share the latest hijinks with you. Shouting this out to the aether of Tumblr: "Folks, if you see this, lemme know how I did!"

This is Louis, my 1/6 blind box Dividing Line (FenJieXian) FuFu. Here demonstrating how you should always be well-prepared for winter (Because... Winter is coming!) I can't claim credit for the sweater here. A much more advanced friend knitted that for me. I like to think of it as encouragement.

This pair is older-sis Lora (Kids' Sky Garnet) and younger-bro Reiwa (Luts' event head on Sprouting Dragon's MSD body). Here I get to say I've pushed that ball of yarn to its maximum. Both hats and scarves came from the same ball of yarn! (Except the tassels on the scarves, that came from a different ball.)

There's a story for the characters here, I promise. It's been worked and reworked in my head while my hands are knitting. I'll get on it, promise. And I haven't forgotten about the Fox Habitat project, either. I'm just waiting for something else to come in!

I showed my jewels for dolls to the rest of the Paper Army recently. They liked them, but say that Sorcha is more of a fire and gold kinda girl. I was like... but... mah jewels! Anyway, this happened:

I promise, they look just as bad IRL. (♫♪♪ Can you see, can you see my Camera Work! - it needs some work, got no skill - Oh my Camera work! ♪♪♫) These are the same leaves I used to make that necklace above, in case you wanted to see unblured photos. Why you come here for decent images, I dunno.

This one looks enchanted. It's not for Sorcha. Mostly because I made it too small. It fits play scale - Barbie and the type.

I made a bracelet too.

Thinking of making earrings for the leaf necklace and all that. Not sure. Thoughts?

Crossposting this chair to document it here... first piece of doll furniture I've made, sized for my Obitsu girls! I've got plans for more furniture I've been sitting on (lol) for months, but i don't know when i'll get to it. i want to make some carved wooden furniture, but more upholstered stuff would be nice as well.... I'd like to make some pink cutesy stuff for my unoa gal, as well as some big SD size-furniture eventually.

I purchased her dress from YiYi dress Store on Aliexpress, the store gave me some free hair clips in my package, I can't wait to show them off with some of her other new outfits coming! ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

I absolutely love her costume, I can't believe how good the quality is! It reminds me of porcelain doll dresses in the best way.

The devil is whispering in my ear that I should use a different base for Vanora and I'm like please can you not? The doll head I ordered isn't even here yet, so I can't really judge based on the few blank images I could find!

But on the other hand......
