I heard a new sound in my head during last night’s meditation. It was a muted wrist watch kind of ticking in quick succession. To be precise, there were 4 or 5 muted wrist watch ticks in quick succession. The sound came from the centre back of my head. These occurred twice.

The moment I heard the first one, my attention immediately turned away from the forehead to the back. Never having heard that sound before, my attention was drawn to the novelty the sound brought.

The strong involuntary body shakes due to free life energies seems to have disappeared from my meditations. It is good to be meditating regularly through a phase when freed life energies are trying to settle down in my head.

Or perhaps, it is a case of my head settling down to a silence induced by Peaceful life energies.

Dear Gus & Magnus,

Mom worked today, so Gus came with us to soccer. Magnus has shown some improvement on kicking the ball, but he has a hard time focusing. Gus helped me wrangle him. Afterward, we went with a crew to Shipley's on Cantrell and basically took over the place. Then we went to the Children's Library so Gus could get the Zoey & Sassafras book he wanted. Cory and the big Grummer kids were there as well, so we played for a while on the playground. Then Gus's friend Evelyn showed up. Gus has told me that lots of kids have crushes on each other at school and Evelyn has a crush on Isaac. While they were playing chase at the library, I heard Evelyn say to Gus, "I'm going to pretend you're Isaac... Come here, my love!" She chased Gus and he ran from her. I laughed.

After Magnus's nap we crushed cans and played in the backyard. Rhett came over and joined us. I baked cod for dinner. It was a good day.

10.7.2023 - Happy Saturday! If you had/have special plans, that's awesome! I most definitely did not, lol. :.)

After work, I spent a couple hours catching up on some lectures and learning a few new words. Fruits were the vocab theme today. That's "orange" up there in the photo. We also learned some different greetings and in what cases to use them.

I bought two massive packs of blank flashcards a while back, so I've been handwriting all the vocab we are learning each week, as well as the proper pronunciation.

PS. I've decided that I'm not even going to try to take those perfect-lighting, aesthetic study pics for this blog, lol. I like very warm lighting in my room for the cozy vibes, you know, and I only study in here, at night, so I can't really get away from slightly orange pics, lol. Props to the amazingly put-together and aesthetic studyblrs out there. I aspire to be like you one day.
