Facing off against the Big Guy, Mr the Mung Bean vs the Young(ish) Prince
Tumblr media
Mr the Bean wondering if he has at last bitten off more than he can chew.
Mr the Mung Bean, Silken Windhound and the Young(ish) Prince, Borzoi.
Just FYI, for anyone unfamiliar with coursing dogs... we do not let the Borzoi play with the Silkens unsupervised. And when anyone looks like they are getting a bit amped, out they go. The size difference can be a real hazard, and even though the Prince is 10 years old and thinks he gave birth to the Bean and so is appointed his caregiver for life, mistakes can happen.

The Le Serrafim workout sounds so toxic to me
Yeah ngl, it is a little toxic! I think any work out that kinda goes “okay here’s how to look like this person with an army of nutritionists and great genetics by doing the same exercise 100 times in a row” is suspect, like anyone should be suspicious of that.
But on the other hand- it’s a /difficult/ workout. I have worked out every single day for the last 5 years and it is extremely physically taxing even for someone with a very high stamina and muscle mass (I walk at a 15 degree tilt for 3 miles every day and can deadlift 180 lbs with ease)
However it’s day 5 for me and it’s Definitely getting easier. I started doing it mostly because my usual work out was beginning to bore me. an upside of this workout is that I can get it done in about 40 minutes- vs my other one that took about 60- sometimes more if I wanted to do 3 rounds instead of two. the psychological line of intolerance for exercise is about 90 minutes per day which if you add my walking to- I regularly go over. The closer you can get to 90 minutes a day the better for your longevity so! I’m doing it for longevity (assuming I can maintain doing it since it is strenuous)

Fruit Vs. Fast Food. How are they affecting your body?
As someone who is recovering from fast food addiction, I wrote a small guide for some popular fruits and what they can do for your body compared to what fast food does to your body. This helps me think before I make decisions.
Fruits and what they can do for me:
-[ ]Blueberries- high in fiber and very good for heart health. 1 serving= 57 cals
- [ ] Apples- high in fiber, helps lower cholesterol, supports a healthy heart, and is good for brain function. 1 serving= 95 cals
- [ ] Raspberries- really good for skin and hormones (beauty food!) full of vitamin C which supports collagen production and can help with hair growth, nail growth, and overall look of health and beauty. 1 serving= 65 cals
- [ ] Bananas- energizing food. full of healthy carbs that will provide you with energy for a workout or just in general. 1 serving= 105 cals
Fast Food- Full of sugar, carbs, and processed foods that will spike your blood sugar and blood pressure, cause obesity, heart problems, and can make you feel lethargic. almost every meal has 1000+ cals, and to top it all off it’s really expensive and you can easily get addicted to the chemicals they put into this stuff. I was eating fast food every single day. I gained 100+ lbs and was feeling hateful and lethargic every minute of every day. Once I finally recover from it, i plan to never go back.
Here’s some popular meals that you probably didn’t know the health information about:
• Mcdonald’s big breakfast with hot cakes- 1,340 calories, 158 g of carbs (you should be having this amount of carbs per DAY not per meal) and 48 g of sugar.
•Dunkin’ sausage egg and cheese croissant- 720 calories, 42 grams of carbs, 1,120 mg of sodium and 6 grams of sugar
• Five Guy’s Large Fries- 1,314 calories, 181g of carbs, 1,327mg of sodium and 6 grams of sugar.
•Buffalo Wild Wings’ Buffalo Chicken Tots- 2,110 calories, 7,360 mg of sodium, 147 g of carbs, and 3 grams of sugar
• Chipotle Carnitas burrito- 1,430 cals, 3,030 mg of sodium, 143 g of carbs and 9 g of sugar
•Taco Bell’s double steak grilled cheese burrito- 920 cals, 2,170 mg of sodium, 91 g of carbs, and 7 g of sugar.
• Mcdonald’s double quarter pounder with cheese- 740 cals, 1,360 mg of sodium, 43 g of carbs, and 10 g of sugar.
and last but not least one of my least favorite discoveries was finding out that my regular coffee order at dunks is around 300 cals. However my coffee order is kind of extreme because I like it sweet, so I looked up how many cals are in a regular coffee order.
•Dunkin’ Médium iced caramel coffee with cream- 260 cals, 40 g of carbs, 40 g of sugar, and 95 mg of sodium.

Random: There’s always talk of altricial vs precocial when it comes to baby centaur, with the argument on the altricial side being that a more precocial baby would be too large due to the human half, so me being me, I had to do up the math. Namely a horse’s head and neck make up about 10% of themselves, at least as regards weight, while a human’s lower half makes up about 40-50% of themselves- I couldn’t get numbers on the hips-down section of the torso specifically. Now a newborn baby horse weighs on average about 100 lbs from the sources I’ve found (I’ve seen an outlier saying they top out at 55 lbs, but given the other sources including research papers I have to assume that’s a mistake and they meant kg), while newborn human babies average about 7.3 lbs.
So, the portion of a human baby that would be used in a centaur is, using human birth weights, 3.6-4.3 lbs, as compared to the estimated ~10 lbs of the newborn horse head and neck. Quite the difference. To get closer to the known standard limit of a horse (assuming it’s a hard limit) you would have to grow the humany portion to be around ~10lbs. This would mean the full size of the human would have to be 20-25 pounds. This weight correlates to human infants between the ages of 12 and 18 months. Between these ages, with standard development, children can be expected to be speaking to even just a very minor degree and walking with or without supports to keep them upright.
So if we’re just going off of weight then having a newborn centaur who can run around at about birth should be reasonable. But that’s not the real big issue, which is more in how the baby is configured in there. So we get a few questions, the first of which it- ‘what is the size of a human toddler compared to the neck of a newborn horse’.
An 18-mo seems to be about 32 inches tall, removing the lower half would make them about 17 inches. A newborn foal will apparently be about 44 inches long on average, head and neck make up 1/3 of that, which is ~14.6 inches. So the sizes are comparable. To get down to equal you would want to drop the human baby full size down to about 29 inches, which is closer to the 12 month size.
The second, though, is more pertinent- ‘how is this thing arranged in there’. Because in utero a foal tucks it’s head, allowing it to take up less space, while you’re simply not going to be able to get the same effect with a human body. We have to assume, for this, that either a centaur is more flexible side to side than a human torso can manage, allowing them to fold themselves to rest more along their side, or that baby centaur take up a little more space than a baby horse does. Either is doable, the latter just makes the pregnancy itself a little harder on the dam, though given centaur seem to often be depicted as being quite flexible I think you would be reasonable to go with the former if one decided to depict this shit for some reason.
And this, of course, is assuming we don’t just just use the ‘this is a typically-magical species with it’s own growth rates and normal sizes’, just using information regarding baby horses and humans.
So, I think would be plausible to say a newborn centaur leans more precocial then altricial, with mental and- on the human portion- physical development about even with a 1-yo, and so able to hold their heads up, quickly learn some baby talk, play simple games, pick up items between their thumb and forefinger, quickly pick-up some degree of object permanence, and so on.

6. CSF Radiators High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator
The factory radiator for the E60 M5 and E6X M6 are pretty nice all aluminum units. While they have proven to be fairly robust, age and additional power tend to push them over the edge. Owners who have superchargers tend to have the most issues with their radiators. Between the extra heat produced with forced induction and the heat exchanger mounting in front of the radiator, the factory radiator is working overtime. The E6X models are also getting close to 20 years old and entering the “future classic” stage of life with many owners doing restorations and updates. Anyone who has restored/updated an older car knows the value of having upgraded parts that are as efficient as possible.
The CSF radiator features a 2-Row 42mm aluminum core that not only increases the fluid capacity of the radiator, but also improves the cores ability to dissipate heat. CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. Between the 6 additional rows of cooling tubes/fins and the thicker 42mm 2 row core, the CSF Radiator will outperform the OEM unit by a significant margin. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. The radiator mounts in the factory location and requires no modifications or cutting.
Part Number: #7218
Product Name: CSF Radiators High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator BMW E60 M5 | E6X M6 2006-2010

8. VR Tuned ECU Flash Tune
To take the S85 V10 nearer to perfection, the team here at Vivid Racing made a few changes. It started with establishing a baseline and truly testing the limits of the V10, and to our pleasant surprise, it managed to put down 507chp and 384ft/lbs of torque on 91 octane in the arid Arizona heat. However, we knew BMW had left a little bit of room for improvement, and we love improvement. After brunch at the VE table, an otherwise completely factory V10 found an additional 57hp and 43ft/lbs of torque, but that wasn’t all. With our modified ignition mapping and refinement of the throttle response, this E60 felt like a completely different beast. Unfortunately, though, this is as far as we were able to get on our initial session. If you want to pull every last ounce of potential out of your S85 and our VR Tuned Flash Tune, we highly recommend the upgrade to the B&B Axle Back Exhaust and B&B Exhaust Midpipe… but only when you think you can handle it.
Part Number: #VRT-E60-M5
Product Name: VR Tuned ECU Flash Tune BMW M5 E60 E61 V10 2006-2010
Features:
#1 priority is our customer service to you!

So today starts my 12-week half marathon training, a week after my last 12 weeks of half marathon training. This time I'm going to use a Hal Higdon schedule. Which is how I started out when I first ran a race. And, really, training schedules like these always serve as the model for my race preparation. But at some point years ago, I sort of decided I was experienced enough, and put together my own order of things.
Looking at what Hal Higdon recommends, I think I like did too many miles at too fast a pace. But then not enough speedwork and pace runs. Or lower distance races, you're supposed to do some of those along the way and I did none.
I like to keep my 100 miles per month streak going, but based on the few days off I took around my race on Dec 2 and what 1st few weeks of my new program will be, I won't hit 100 this December. But hitting a good time at my next half marathon is more motivating to me at the moment vs. an arbitrary monthly miles streak.
I pick Hal Higdon's Intermediate 2 program because that is what most closely represents where I'm at with running currently, based on not more much than a gut feeling and comparing to Intermediate 1 and Advanced 1. I start today, Sunday Dec 10, race on Saturday Mar 2:
Tumblr media
This is pretty much what's at the link but offset a day, i.e. the program's Mon-Sun is my Sun-Sat. My race is a Saturday, so I'm doing my long runs on Saturdays, different than my Sundays of the last few years. And I don't think I can't find a 15k race for the end of week 9, so I'll likely do another 10k, which is fine per Hal, the prep race distances are simply guidelines.
My goal is completing this race at 9 min/mi pace, which is a 1:57:59 time. But I think a 9:09 pace for a 1:59:59 time--i.e. just under 2 hours--pretty much counts as the same thing in my mind. My PR is just 1:52:something, just under 8:40 pace I think. But I was 34 then, not 44 like I am now, so 9 min/mi would make me happy. But we'll see how I'm feeling after a few weeks of pace runs.
I'd also like to lose some weight. Because I figure if I eat right and train right, there's no reason I can't lose 6-8 lb. the first 6-8 weeks of this program. Then maybe 2-4 more the final 4-6 weeks. But let's see. I was around 190 lb. when I checked recently. The idea of weighing betwen 178-182 three months from now makes me happy, not the sub-175 I'd like to be long term, but a step in the right direction.
I will probably post more about my diet in the coming days, but I'll leave it at that for now. It's time to train. So it begins.

If you want to modify the device in a way that isn't specified
Duromax XP12000EH vs XP12000HX As another user noted, if the tiny propane tank freezes, it signifies that the consumption is greater than the gas that the liquified propane in the tank produces. The little "BBQ" kind of tank can be replaced with a bigger propane tank (100 lb) or you can link several smaller "BBQ" tanks together, which should create enough gas to meet the demand of the generator. The DuroMax 13000 EH indicates an 8-hour run duration on 8.3 gal. of gasoline at 50% load. On 8.3 gal. of propane, a 6-hour run duration is indicated at 50% power. LP propane has 91,330 Btu per gallon compared to gasoline's 124,000 Btu. A 40 lb propane tank holds 9.2 gals and will provide 6.6 hours of run time, whereas a 20-pound tank carries 4.6 gals and will last approximately 3.3 hours at 50% load. The combined weight of a 20 lb BBQ tank and the 20 lb of propane it stores is 37 lb. To transport the 40 lb propane tank, which weighs 74 lbs in total, I intend to utilize a dolly. If you want to modify the device in a way that isn't specified in the handbook, such as "converting it to run on natural gas instead of LP gas," you should speak with the manufacturer directly. Asking the general public for information about something that is only intended to work with gasoline or propane is not a secure method. I don't mean to be nasty, but it is a REALLY GOOD way to get wounded or break the device, therefore I recommend getting your information directly from the manufacturer if trying to change how the device is intended to perform is involved. The HX features the CO alert/shutdown feature, although none of the other models do. According to our ground-breaking CO ALERT technology, this threat is removed by turning off the generator when an unsafe level of carbon monoxide is detected. At 50% load, this generator will consume approximately 1 gallon of gasoline every hour. At 50% load, it will consume roughly 1.2 gallons (5 pounds) of propane each hour. To meet the most demanding requirements, the panel has two 120V/20AMP outlets, one 120V/30AMP twist lock outlet, a 120V/240V 30AMP outlet, and a 50-amp heavy-duty outlet. A voltmeter, circuit breakers, low oil indicator, idle control, and DuroMax’s special MX2 switch—which doubles your 120-volt amperage for large loads—are all included on the panel. It allows you to operate at both 120 and 240 volts concurrently and maximizes the power from each 120-volt outlet. An oversized noise-reducing muffler with a built-in spark arrestor and fully-isolated motor mounts are both features of the unit’s heavy-duty all-metal construction, which enables quiet and smooth operation. With the handle kit that is supplied, the XP12000EH is simple to move over any terrain and has tough, long-lasting solid-fill tires. The unit is covered by a 3-year manufacturing warranty and is constructed with all-copper windings, as are all DuroMax generators.

Do you need to lift or replace your car's battery and want to know what to expect? The weight of a car battery varies depending on type, size and materials. This guide covers standard battery weights to help you handle and install your automotive battery safely. Average Weight of Lead-Acid Car Batteries Most modern vehicles use lead-acid batteries. Lead-acid batteries contain plates made of lead submerged in an electrolyte solution of sulphuric acid and water. The average lead-acid car battery weighs around: 25-40 pounds - Standard sizes like Group 35 or Group 65 used in many passenger cars and light trucks. 50-60 pounds - Larger Group 75 batteries in full-size pickups, SUVs, and some luxury vehicles. Up to 100 pounds - Heavy duty and commercial trucks often use large Group 31 batteries over 70 pounds. So you can expect a typical car or pickup battery to weigh between 30-60 lbs. Smaller batteries under 25 lbs are usually found in motorcycles or specialty vehicles. Key Factors That Determine Car Battery Weight What makes some lead-acid batteries heavier than others? Here are the key factors: Battery Group Size Batteries are classified by Group Size numbers like 35, 65, 75, etc. The higher the group number, the larger the battery: Small batteries like Group 24 are 13" x 6.5" x 7.5" and weigh around 25 lbs. Group 65 batteries measure 12" x 6 3/4" x 9" and weigh 35-40 lbs. Large Group 31's are 13" x 6 11/16" x 9 3/8" and can weigh 50-60 lbs. So the group size gives a general indication of battery dimensions and weight. Power Capacity A battery's power capacity is measured in Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) or Reserve Capacity (RC): More plates and more electrolyte equal increased power capacity. Higher CCA or RC ratings require bigger, heavier plates and more electrolyte. Trucks or diesel vehicles need 750-1000 CCA batteries that weigh more. Choose the minimum CCA rating required for your vehicle to avoid oversized batteries. Battery Terminals Top or side terminal batteries impact weight: Top terminal batteries allow for thinner, lighter cases. Side terminal need thick walls to withstand clamping force, adding weight. Top post batteries weigh 1-2 lbs less than side terminals of the same group size. Construction Materials The metals and alloys used in plates impact the weight: Standard lead-calcium alloy plates are lighter than pure lead plates. Thinner grid alloy allows for less lead, reducing weight. More advanced alloys like lead-tin weigh less than lead-calcium. Plastics cases are lighter than rubberized or steel encased batteries. Every construction detail affects the scale. Average Lithium-Ion Car Battery Weights Lithium-ion batteries are gaining popularity: They weigh 30-50% less than equivalent lead-acid batteries. A mid-size lithium battery weighs just 10-15 lbs vs. over 30 lbs for a lead-acid. Li-ion batteries need less space and location flexibility due to lightness. Here are typical lithium-ion car battery weights: Small batteries are under 5 lbs. Mid-size batteries weigh 10-15 lbs. Full-size lithium batteries weigh 15-25 lbs. Performance versions weigh 25-30 lbs. Lithium-ion is the go-to battery type for electric vehicles and hybrids. Their reduced weight vs. lead-acid helps maximize fuel economy and driving range. Weight Differences Between a Standard, AGM, and Gel Battery You may also choose between standard wet cell, AGM, or Gel lead-acid batteries. Here is how they compare for weight: Standard Wet Cell Lead-Acid Battery Uses liquid sulphuric acid electrolyte. Considered the standard lead-acid battery type. Average weight ranges match typical lead-acid weights above. Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Battery Uses "starved" electrolyte absorbed in fiberglass mats. More vibration resistance but can weigh 1-2 lbs more than a wet cell. Slight weight increase due to the thicker f
iberglass mats. Gel Battery Uses a silica-based "gel" rather than liquid electrolyte. Requires thicker internal plates to prevent drying out. Gel batteries weigh 2-5 lbs more than equivalent wet cell battery. For all lead-acid types, higher performance batteries will weigh more regardless of electrolyte used due to increased plate thickness and internal resistance. Average Weight of a Car Battery By Manufacturer Do certain manufacturers produce lighter or heavier batteries? Let's look at average weights by brand. Bosch Known for quality and performance. Group 35 batteries average 38-42 lbs. Group 65's are in the 45-50 lb range. Optima Optima RedTop and YellowTop AGM batteries weight 10-15 lbs more than comparable options. Dual purpose starting/deep cycle use requires heavier plates. EverStart Known as a budget brand. But weights are in line with major brands, with Group 35's around 37-39 lbs and Group 65's weighing 43-46 lbs. Can be a cost effective option. DieHard Sears' premium brand with trusted quality. Weights span the typical range, with Group 24's averaging 26-29 lbs and Group 65's around 39-46 lbs. Odyssey Extreme AGM batteries feature heavy duty plates. Group 35's are in the 46-52 lb range. Better cold cranking power means more weight. AC Delco General Motor's OEM brand. Weights are average for OEM replacements, with AC Delco Group 35's weighing 34-38 lbs. As you can see, most major brands weigh about the same for a given group size. Pay more attention to power ratings and features than minor weight savings between brands. Do I Need a "Lightweight" Battery? With battery weights varying significantly, a "lightweight" model seems appealing. But are lighter batteries better? The short answer is: it depends. Here are the pros and cons of a lightweight battery: Pros Easier for installation and removal, especially in hard to access spots. Improves fuel economy slightly thanks to shedding a few pounds. Allows flexibility in battery position since it can be conveniently moved. Cons Lightweight often means lower power output ratings. May not provide enough cold cranking amps for your vehicle. Durability and lifespan may be lower than heavier batteries. Higher cost than standard weight battery of equivalent size. Before paying extra for the lightest battery, make sure it meets or exceeds the CCA and power needs for your car or truck. Possessing the right power capabilities for your vehicle is more important than shaving off a few pounds. Finding the Optimal Car Battery Weight Determining the right weight battery for your vehicle involves three key steps: 1. Identify Your Vehicle's Battery Requirements Check your owner's manual for: Recommended Group Size Minimum CCA rating Any required power specs like Reserve Capacity Matching these specs ensures proper starting and power delivery. 2. Weigh Your Current Battery Lift out the existing battery and weigh it on a bathroom or shipping scale. This provides a good baseline weight. 3. Choose Within Your Target Battery Weight Range Given your required size and power ratings, opt for a weight in the middle of the typical range. Avoid extremes on either end to optimize cost, durability and performance. Getting the right balance of power capabilities and reasonable weight results in a smooth installation plus years of reliable starting power. Handling Heavy Car Batteries Safely Once you know the estimated weight, follow these tips for safely lifting and installing heavy batteries without injury: Always use proper lifting technique - lift with legs bent while keeping back straight. Avoid twisting. Wear steel-toe boots for protection in case of drops. Use handling aids like straps and handles when available. Remove any jewelry or loose clothing that could catch on terminals. Carefully read al
l safety notes in the installation manual. Keep a first aid kit nearby and know protocols if acid contacts skin. Store batteries upright and securely to prevent tipping and acid leaks. Ask for help when required - don't take chances lifting over 50 lbs alone. A little planning goes a long way towards safely working with heavy batteries without hurting yourself or your vehicle. FAQs How can I find my car's stock battery weight? The vehicle owner's manual often lists the factory battery specs including weight. You can also call the dealership service department to learn the OEM battery weight. What's the difference between a Lithium Ion and AGM battery? Key differences: Lithium Ion batteries are much lighter and provide more cold cranking amps in a smaller case size. AGM batteries use absorbed electrolyte instead of liquid while Lithium Ion use no liquid at all. Lithium Ion cost more currently but can last longer than lead-acid. Does a bigger, heavier battery necessarily provide more power? Not always. Thanks to improved engineering and materials, smaller and lighter batteries these days can deliver equal or higher power, especially Lithium Ion models. Choose a battery based on required CCA rating, not maximum size and weight. What is the lightest car battery available? For lead-acid batteries, Group 24 or Group 51 size provide the lightest weight option at around 20-25 lbs. Lithium Ion batteries under 10 lbs give you minimum weight. But ensure light batteries still meet your car's power needs. Why are some car batteries so heavy? The lead plates plus lead-acid electrolyte give batteries a high density. And the sturdy plastic or steel-reinforced cases add weight while protecting the fragile plates inside. More power capacity requires bigger and thicker plates which mean more weight. Weigh Your Options When Replacing Your Car Battery As you've learned, car battery weights span a wide range depending on battery types, group size, power ratings and build quality. Understanding the factors that increase density and accounting for automotive power requirements will ensure you choose the optimal new or replacement battery for your vehicle. Keep proper lifting technique and safety in mind when handling heavy batteries during installation. Knowing battery weights gives you confidence when making this important vehicle upgrade. #Wiack #Car #CarInsurance #CarRental #CarPrice #AutoLoans

Keyboard Stands | Which Type is Best For You?
youtube
The popularity of digital pianos has ushered in an increase in innovations in the world of keyboard stands. While serving a simple purpose, these accessories can vary in design and be better suited to different situations.
Digital pianos in the slab and stage formats are built to be portable - something lightweight enough that musicians can carry them for short distances, transport them in cars or public transit, or store it in small spaces like a closet, dorm room, or a touring van.
Manufacturers achieve the smaller footprint mostly by compressing the electronics and speakers (much like a laptop vs a desktop computer) and ridding it of its pedals and furniture. What this means is if one of these becomes your instrument of choice, you'll very likely also need to purchase a sturdy keyboard stand to go with it.
In this article, we'll cover the most popular keyboard stands available on the market today, approximate price ranges you'll run into, and which stand is appropriate for different situations, all the way from basic home use, to those gearing up for a world tour.
It's important to know that there is no single best keyboard stand, but a variety of great choices depending on various considerations.
Types of Keyboard Stands “X” Style Keyboard Stand X Style Keyboard Stand
This simple X-Style stand gets its name from its design. There are two sets of 2 steel pipes each connected with a steel strut. There is a scissor-type folding action with a basic axel that connects the two sections; this design allows for height adjustments and for the stand to be collapsed completely flat, making it the lightest, easiest, lowest cost stand on the market meaning you can find these for sale in most musical instrument stores.
It also has the lowest weight capacity, is prone to some wobble, and isn’t known for its durability. Some digital piano manufacturers, such as Yamaha and Casio, offer a low-cost X stand option as well.
When to use them?
The X-Style keyboard stand is the best stand when portability or cost is the only consideration, and your piano weighs less than 40 lbs (ideally less than 30 lbs).
“Double X” Style Stand
Double X Keyboard Stand
The Double X-Style stand is an improvement on the first design, where the horizontal pipes that act as the feet and platform are braced with two sets of scissoring struts, instead of one set as with the first design. These also offer adjustable height via locking straps or some other type of locking mechanism.
When to use them?
Where portability and cost are top priorities, and the weight of your keyboard is somewhere between 40 - 70 lbs.
Z Stand Z Style Keyboard Stand
The Z-stand is one of the best blends of portability and stability on the market. Several companies make the type with a few differences in how they collapse. But once fully deployed, they’re all virtually the same and are ideal for heavier keyboards.
There are two steel ‘Z’s which sit parallel to each other, connected by two telescoping shafts, and the vertical part of the ‘Z’ also telescopes, giving the stand both adjustable width and height, with lots of leg room. These are generally speaking high-quality options.
There are also certain heavy-duty Second Tier Keyboard Stand versions that allow you to place two keyboards on them at once, allowing keyboardists to rapidly switch between two keyboards or even play both at once. The single-tier stand is of course more popular, but these exist for those who need them.
When to use them?
If you have the budget for a $100 - 150 stand, you're looking for a height-adjustable piano keyboard stand, and it will be receiving frequent use and/or moves, this is an ideal option (with the collapsing arms). They’re rugged, stable, and can handle the largest and most heavy keyboards out there with great sturdiness.  Hercules and Roland both make great options.
When not to use them?
For super small keyboards in the 61 or 76 note range that are 20 lbs or smaller, this would be overkill.
Folding Table Style Keyboard Stand Folding Table Style Keyboard Stand
We don’t actually know if the industry has a ‘name’ for this, but these types of stands look like those ubiquitous folding tables that you see at every wedding or event hall. The top of the table is rectangular, and two sets of legs swing down from hinges along the two short sides of the table. This tabletop option is also a sturdy stand.
When to Use Them?
The Table Style stand is essentially going to serve the same types of keyboardists, keyboards, and digital pianos as the Z stand, but in scenarios when portability isn’t as important.
For example, if your keyboard is going to spend most of its time occupying space on a Church stage or rehearsal room, the Table Style stand might be an enticing option.
“T” Stand
The final stand type is referred to as a T stand since that’s precisely what it looks like when folded up.  There are four articulating arms, all with a 90-degree elbow, which form the legs of the stand. They’re attached at either end of a central spine and are highly flexible.
When to Use Them: Like the Table Style Stand, the T stand is another alternative to the Z stand that will come down to personal preference.
Closing Thoughts
We hope that this article has provided some insight into what might be the best choice for you, whether that’s a single X stand, double X stand, Z stand, Table Style stand, or T Stand.
Ultimately, the focus should be on finding a stand that's stable and will last a few years, and not fall apart on a gig if you’re a performing musician.

Longer rides in the rear are secure
Graco Extend TO Fit vs 4ever DLX The user-friendly Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat is made to stay in the car after initial installation. Once you pack your tiny child, simply place your child in the car seat and secure the straps around them. This car seat does not come with a base. If you transfer it from one car to another, you only have to move the car seat. I have two of these seats in a 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport, and they fit great. I'd unquestionably purchase them again. In my opinion, it can be a little cramped behind the seats while you are rear-facing if you are taller than 5'10" and depending on how you choose to position your seat. For instance, the car seat gets pushed up when my husband reclines his chair a few notches higher than I do. It's also possible that the fact that our front seats are as low as I can make them is a significant factor. I stated that only in case anyone was interested. The Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat may be used for 10 years with just one car seat thanks to three revolutionary updates! The well-known 4Ever that you know and love now comes with a RapidRemove cover, an integrated belt lock-off for easy installation, and rubberized trim. Harness storage with minimal fuss for easier access A four-in-one car seat has a ten-year lifespan. effortlessly transforms from a rear-facing harness car seat for kids 4 to 40 pounds to a forward-facing harness car seat for kids 22 to 65 pounds, a highback belt-positioning booster for kids 40 to 100 pounds, and a backless belt-positioning booster (40 to 120 pounds). During all of your family's travels, keep your developing child comfy by avoiding the use of bleach and adjusting the 6-position recliner. Purely Adjustable Safe Rethread-Free Harness Using no-rethread To ensure that your child is always safely strapped, use the Simple Safe Adjust Harness System to quickly modify the height of your harness and headrest. ProtectPlus designed by Graco The detachable, soft head and body inserts will make your baby feel safe and secure. With integrated belt lock-off, seat belt installation is simple in automobiles. The InRight LATCH attachment, which is exclusive to Graco, offers a simple, one-second attachment with an audible click to help ensure secure installation. The Simple Safe Adjust Harness System allows you to simultaneously adjust the height of your harness and headrest in 10 different settings, ensuring that your child is always safely strapped. Without removing the seat, RapidRemove covers may be removed in 60 seconds for easy cleaning and are machine washable. Product measurements are 21.5′′D x 19.5′′W x 23.5′′H, and it weighs 19 lbs. Longer rides in the rear are secure! The Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat develops with your child from a rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to a forward-facing harness (22–65 lb). Simply Safe Concurrently, adjust the headrest and no-rethread harness. Its 4-position extension panel gives your child up to 5′′ additional rear-facing legroom and makes it possible for them to ride that way for extended periods without getting sick. The 50-pound rear-facing weight limit and adjustable extension panel of Extend2Fit expand the rear-facing use of the seat while also allowing for growing with your child.

TEER Measurement Electrode The STX4 electrode (not included) was designed for easy insertion into many 24-well plates. I just bought a diesel pickup which has a recommended drain interval of 7500 miles, with the oil I am putting in and the filter system, 25,000 miles is an easy goal and will probably need nothing more than change the filters and top off the oil for many, many miles after that. The EVOM Manual has adjustable current levels in three fixed ranges with two lower ranges for sensitive membranes and high resistance ranges up to 100 K. Asura, Ledikkarthr
Tumblr media
“Polar Devil” © Kenzer and Co., by Anthony Carpenter.
[In the source material, as the name above suggests, this is a devil. Making the ice devil analogue in your D&D clone a polar bear is a fun idea. But I decided to make it an asura, both in order to avoid devil redundancy and because I don’t have a lot of asuras in the Codex. I think about half of them are currently asura ranas, which is a weird power imbalance.]
Asura, Ledikkarthr CR 16 LE Outsider (extraplanar) This creature resembles a bipedal polar bear, except it has a pair of forward facing horns growing from its brow. It stands twice as tall as a man, and as it opens its mouth, its jaws stretch abnormally wide. Its gut hangs in a potbelly, but its limbs seem fast and strong.
One of the oldest and most dramatic religious practices is sacrifice. As the values of cultures change and the attitudes of the gods towards their worshipers vary, some faiths have relied on the sacrifice of sapient creatures at some times and then turned away from it at others. It is not the rite of humanoid sacrifice that has created the ledikkarthr, a form of asura devoted to the practice. Rather, it is the allowing and then withholding of the ritual, and the uncertainty in the divine inspired by this deific flip-flopping, that created these creatures, sometimes called “polar asuras” or “sacrifice asuras”.
A leddikarthr delights in veneration, and most of the creatures maintain some sort of cult to which they serve as idol. Unlike many outsiders, they allow their names and natures to leak out into the mortal world, hoping to be summoned by a conjurer with more ambition then sense. In Hell, they are decidedly servitors—most leddikarthrs act as adjutants and bodyguards for the more intelligent ice devils—but on the Material Plane they can be godlings. A leddikarthr demands tribute in both lives and treasure, and they often accumulate impressive hoards.
In combat, a leddikarthr begins by surrounding itself in an aura of whipping winds and blinding snow. The asura can see the life force of creatures, and so rarely suffers penalties from its own concealing magic. A leddikarthr usually begins combat by instilling fear into their enemies, and then picking off those that do not scatter in terror. Their claws inflict the agony of divine torment, and they delight in swallowing weak prey whole.
Despite their bear-like frames, leddikarthr never walk on four legs. They stand between ten and twelve feet tall.

Icewalking (Ex) A ledikkarthr can move without penalty in mundane or magical snow, ice or other frozen terrain. Polar Vortex (Su) A ledikkarthr is surrounded by a supernatural blizzard in a 30 foot radius. All creatures in the area take 4d6 points of cold damage each round (Fortitude DC 26 half). In addition, the vortex blocks vision, granting creatures concealment if they are more than five feet from each other. The blizzard affects ranged attacks and movement as if it were an area of severe wind. A ledikkarthr can suppress or resume this aura as a swift action. The save DC is Constitution based.
