The FA's decision to prepare the Liberty stadium for VAR probably cost Swansea to place in the FA Cup semi-finals.
The second and third goals of Manchester City should not have existed. For the second, the penalty awarded for a foul on Raheem Sterling the defender clearly got a touch on the ball.
Dan Sergio Aguero was offside for his winning goal. VAR should not have been necessary to get those decisions right.
Andre Marriner should have seen that Sterling was not fouled, and for the offside the assistant referee had to in line with the penultimate defender.
The integrity of the FA Cup is only damaged by the use of VAR in Premier League stadiums only.
For the quarterfinals, the FA should have approved Swansea and Millwall for use of VAR.
There was enough time because the draw was on February 18.
The officials could not use the help of VAR during the FA Cup quarterfinals in the Liberty
