I just thought of something. In your au ghosts are a result of AFO affected quirks not being in their original body. So what happened to the ghost of the other quirk given to Yoichi that eventually combined to make one for all? I guess that goes for canon too, why isn't that person considered a vestige?

So. I always keep forgetting that there was that extra Stockpile Quirk added in and not originally part of OfA because just. Outside of the line where it's mentioned, it's never fucking relevant?

Because yeah that person doesn't have a Vestige showing up. And it's. I question it at all? Because OfA's stockpiled power comes from passing it between users, so if there was an original non-OfA stockpile Quirk, what was that person stockpiling?

Even if the Stockpile Quirk stockpiled something else and went to Quirks-only when given to Yoichi..... This also seems to be the only instance of two Quirks combining to make a new one? While OfA enhances the user's natural Quirk, it doesn't combine with them. Even Izuku's bullshit is just having each Quirk at hand, not mixing them. And AfO can't mix the Quirks he has. Even the Nomu, who are Frankenstein monstrosities, don't have combined Quirks just multiple Quirks going at once.

And as....... complicated as the relationship between AfO and Yoichi is, why would AfO give him such a powerful-but-potentially-useless Quirk? Wouldn't he have saved a power stockpiler for himself and given Yoichi something that's more on the defense so he could keep himself safe on his own? It's not like he expected Yoichi to join him on the frontlines of battle.

So yeah idk what's going on in Canon but as far as my AU goes, I'm just skipping the middle man and having it be that the stockpile effect is just part of Yoichi's Quirk in the first place. He just was unaware of this because there was no energy for him to stockpile.
