What we did was write down all the places we would go to in Glasgow that we thought would be fitting for the film to express Our Glasgow.

The challenges of this was to navigate good shots through the city being so busy which isn’t a rare it’s for such a popular place. We managed it pretty well and even got creative with our shots despite a lot of people getting in the way disregarding us and our tripod with camera attached.

As the time went on throughout our endeavour to create this video we found that what worked well for us was moving with the subject through the hustle and bustle of the city therefore avoiding people being in our shots unintentionally.

In my opinion, what didn’t work so well for us was the last scene of the video; the shto of crossing the road to the cinema. It’s such a crazy crossroads I think we could have thought out the shot better maybe by getting a higher angle on our subject, Danny, or by carrying out the follow-the-subject technique.

If I were to do this task again on My Glasgow I think it would be incredibly beneficial to use a gimbal instead of a tripod. This would elevate the quality of our creative techniques to another level.
