a lil drabble inspired by this post

Masterlist

No one knew how you kept getting away with it. Law must have hated it. Must have. Every time you gave Law a report or any paperwork, you sat right on the edge of his desk. It didn’t even matter if you were coming to tell him something, you would sit right on his desk legs crossed over one another as you spoke.

At first, Law hated this, and he didn’t know why. He assumed that it was because you were taking up his desk space and it was rude to bother him while he was working. But eventually, he realized it was because you were a distraction. Each time you hopped onto his desk; you distracted him. It wasn’t that you were annoying in the way you distracted him. You distracted him in the way your lips moved as you spoke. He was enchanted by your voice, even if you were just rambling about something he couldn’t NOT listen to what you had to say. Except for right now.

Right now, as you were speaking the only thing Law was focusing on was your lips. His mind going places that it shouldn’t with the thoughts he was having about where your lips could be, where they should be. It wasn’t until he realized that you were calling his name that he snapped out of his fantasies.

“Captain Law, are you even listening to me?!” Your face holding that adorable pout that makes him want to chuckle. You were so cute to him but no, he wasn’t going to tell you that so instead he put a small scowl on his face.

“No, because I’m trying to work here.” He says as his gaze goes back to the papers and books in front of him. With a huff, you hop off his desk.

“It wouldn’t kill you to be nicer to me, Captain” Your little tantrum as you leave his office. If only you knew how nice he really wanted to be to you.
