WHEN YOU ARE BORN AGAIN PART 2
Tumblr media
TEXT 2 Cor. 6:17-18
KEY VERSE: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him. 1John2:15
2.) YOU WILL CUT OFF FROM ANYTHING THAT LINKS YOU BACK TO SIN:
The second evidence of the new birth is the destruction of every link to sin and unrighteousness.
Anyone who
is truly born again will hate all his or her previous sinful lifestyle, and start a deliberate separation from all
appearance of evil. I Thess. 5:22; Luke 14:33
When you are born again you will have to separate yourself from everything that can link you back to any
sinful life style.
You have to cut off from your worldly friends, beer palours, Disco halls and club houses,
masquerade and other occultic and ungodly groups. 1John2: 15
That is, you have to consciously cut off from anything that can draw you back to sin, you have to burn all
occultic books, worldly or indecent pictures and materials, indecent or seductive items like lip sticks,
bleaching creams, hair relaxers, artificial hairs, (attachments and weavon), artificial eye lash, eye brow
and fingers nails, and every seductive clothing like women trousers, shorts or slitted skirts, short gowns
or skirts, transparent clothes, or show back, open front, deep cut, off shoulder or any undersized clothing,
like tight or fitted polo or t-shirts or any clothing that advertises the shape of the body etc.
Zeph. 1:8,Pro. 7:1 0,Acts 19: 18-19; Nun. 33:52
Stop all Strange haircuts and styles like ponk, galaxy, grace jones, Obama, Mon hawk, etc because these
are all of the world and not of God.
Worldly ways of shaving of beards is also against God's word.
Lev.19:27
STOP THE LIFE OF WHOREDOM
If you are born again, you will cleanse yourself from the pollutions and corruption of the worldly things
and worldly clothing. If you are a female, you will stop using slitted or short skirts or clothing exposing
your legs, laps or underwear. The Bible calls these kind of clothing "the attire of an harlot. The Bible
says"And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart." Pro.7: 10.
All your Skirts and gowns should be quite below the knees at sitting position and should be free
on your body. Avoid all kinds of Sleeveless clothing exposing the arms, pubic hairs or underwear, and
you should not wear sexy or padded bra to project your breast, you should desist from the use of
tight or pencil skirts, tight blouses, tight T-shirts or tight gowns, that stick to the skin like glue to
reveal your female shape, or contour of your body, underwear or pants, avoid Transparent
clothing revealing parts ofyour body or exposing your underwear. These types of clothing are all the
attire and costumes of harlots and God said He will punish all those that are clothed with such strange
apparel. Zephaniah 1:8.
A Christian woman who wants to make heaven should avoid wearing of trousers, shorts, pyjamas,
tight, track suit, coverall, these are all men's wear and are abominations before the Almighty God.
Deut. 22:5
STOP ARTIFICIAL MAKE-UPS
You should forsake the use of cosmetic make-ups (All artificial eye lash, artificial eye brow or
mascara, artificial finger nails, tribal marks and tattoos, use of lip sticks, cortex, eye shadow, or
pan cake, beauty powder, bleaching creams, perfumes, surgical operation for fashion are all items
of seduction and geared to defile and pollute the temple of God.), Rev. 2:20;
I Cor. 3:16-17; 1 Thess.
5:23; Rom. 12: 1-2

As Jesus Did
Live your lives as Jesus did.
Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.
1 John 2:6 NLT
Tumblr media
All the glory, praises and honor be to God, the Heavenly Father in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ ! Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, the subject verse is something very important for us to introspect and question our way of life. From the subject verse, we can broadly divide it in to the two following questions. Are we really living in God? Are our lives akin to our Lord Jesus? The Bible says, that we are the branches and Jesus is the vine. To bear fruits, the branches are to remain in the vine. A severed branch can never produce any fruit but withers away. Therefore, the question arises whether we are producing any fruits or withering away? Absence of God in our lives, duly acknowledges the dryness in us. And if we are producing fruits then what fruits - good or bad ? The Holy Scriptures says that only God is good. If we are in God, we shall bear good fruits. Definitely, those who produce bad fruits are from the adversary, the Satan. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.John 15:4 (NLT) Taking the very nature of servant Our Lord Jesus Christ came down into this world as the sacrificial lamb of God. It is important to realize, there are many a people who argue that Jesus lived on this earth with his godly powers. And they very much attribute the godly powers to be the reason for his sinless life. But this is absolutely a wrong and false notion on their part. For the Bible says, Jesus made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant. He left all his power, his authority, his throne and the heavenly riches to become a man. Moreover, he humbled himself much like a lamb that is brought to a slaughter house. Yes, He was obedient even to death on the Calvary cross. Jesus did all these out of love that he has for the Holy Father and for the mankind. '7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! ' Philippians 2:7-8 Therefore brethren, where do we stand in our lives? Are we willing to do good without any prejudice, bear others burden or even willing to suffer for others? How is our attitude towards those who hate us or consider us as their enemy? There could only be questions and questions to ask ourselves. Cast your burdens upon the Lord Considering all the above, It is indeed very burdensome, but they all will become feather-weight when we put all those burdens upon our Lord and Savior. Therefore, when we love and show the same compassion like our Lord, everything seems easy. Moreover, we are not to rely upon our own strength, but on Jesus who enables us do great and mighty things. Finally, let every job or deed be done in the mighty and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ and for the glory of the Living God. Amen. Read the full article

SEEING HIM WHO SEES ME
“After two days He shall give us life: in the third day He will resurrect us, and we shall live in His sight. And we shall know and follow on in knowing the LORD; His going forth is prepared as the dawn; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.” (Hos.6:2-3 Jubilee Bible 2000)
What does this mean, “…we shall live in His sight”? Is it us seeing Him or Him seeing us? Or better yet, is it us seeing Him seeing us? Aaah, I think we have it now! Hosea using this term is speaking about Israel having again fallen away from God. And, we should know from what Hebrews states, the nature of our falling away is usually not abrupt, but gradual or drift, as it were.
“Therefore, we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.” (Heb.2:1)
Let me say, we are all drifters if our souls are allowed to lead us. And, lead us they will, after the “pride of life, lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes” (1John2:16). But, when we see that God sees us, everything changes. I’m brought before a higher court of His personal judgment and justice that disallows my fanciful ways of ordering my life the way I will and calling it, “God’s way with me.” His eye cuts through the gray I’ve created with making Him after my image or should I say, imagination. Incidentally, this might be called idolatry. Hmmm?!
No believer should want to hide from the light of the truth that has set him free. But we do, when the light of His eyes finds a reserve of darkness too costly for our flesh to disown. Not trusting the exchange rate of His glory meant to replace our baser nature, we buy a lie and gullibly accept the notion, “Out of sight, out of mind…” If I can’t see Him, seeing me…in my mind I wouldn’t be responsible for what I’m choosing to do contrary to the Word of God staring me in the face. Thus, turning a blind eye to the eye that sees me, releases me from God’s intentions. Yes, for the moment I blinked, embracing my blind-spot, I was free from His eye of truth finding me out…or so I thought! However, in time, I may realize whatever measure of life I had from Him is tainted, weakened. Whatever knowing and following of Him is now unclear. If this shoe fits, let’s get back in His eye where we “walk in the light as He is in the light” that restores real fellowship with Him and others, washing us from the sins of omission.
“I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me… the pride of Israel testifies to his face… the princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark (the barrier between right and wrong)… Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked by human precept (man’s command, vanities).” (Hosea5:3,5,10,11)
If we’ve been born again, we know “…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2Cor.5:17). This newness is according to the clarity and sharpness of God’s word that separates between soul and spirit bringing intimate experience with Him. The Holy Spirit given us as breath from the face of the Lord makes us to see Him who sees us. From here, our steps are ordered of Him with the light of His countenance separating us from the world’s dictates in darkness. Forsake the Way and your shine goes gray…and maybe worse. As Elijah said (1Kings.18:21) to all of Israel under the leadership of King Ahab, or rather his wife, Jezebel, “How long will you halt between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him” But the people answered him not a word. What’s our answer? There is a line being drawn by God presently, not unlike the many lines He drew in the sands of the wilderness for Israel, a weighing in the balance for where we stand.
Will we now live from the heavenly court of His truth from whence comes the release of His will miraculously being done in earth (in me) as it is in heaven? Or shall our standard be lowered wherein the savor of our salt is lost? Let’s remember, God’s idea of faith is calling a man to lose his life to His Truth, His Way and His Life. That is a call to “be of good courage.” In God’s eyes, fear is a liar! Is it that in your eyes? If perfect love casts out all fear, how perfected in His love am I? Am I as endeared to Him as Paul, chiefest-of-sinners?
“…the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But, none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts20:23-24)
With consideration for the times and the immoral lawless state of affairs we presently face in our nation, how moved are we from the face of the One who sees us? If you think you see clearly without His eyes, think again! He’s watching you and me from His word, among His people, and where His presence is found. Are we avoiding these vital places? Let’s take care for our vision and live in His sight.
“But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.” (2Cor.4:2)

Topic: Understanding the Time
By. Bro. Israel Apeh
💥
God day My Beloved Brethren.
I welcome all of you in Jesus Name Amen
Am Bro. Israel Apeh as Mentioned in the flayer.
Am glad to share with us Tonight.
Be blessed as we equip our selves IJN AMEN.
MESSAGE:
TEXT : 1 Peter 4:1-11, 1John2:18
ENTITLED: Understanding the Time.
A case study of the pandemic and calamities around the world as signs and wonders for the second coming of Christ.(Last days).
1 Peter 4:7. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
PRAISE THE LORD BELOVED,
LET US START WITH PRAYER:
Dear Father, we thank you for a moment like this. Lord as read and study your word, please grant us total understanding and the Grace to be conscious and pragmatic about your words in Jesus Name Amen.
EPIGRAPH/INTRO:
Beloveth, Time they said everything including money. That is why we don’t have to joke with time nor waste it. I recently read an article about time, and it says I(time) am powerful, if you waste me, I will destroy your future and destiny. So use me well. (I was shock to read that). Lesson: Beloved, never play with your God given time, always use it rightly.
The Devil has blindfolded Many men and women of God are carried away by fame, tithe, prosperity and posterity. We are failing to pay great attention to the season and time for the last days.
1 John 2:18. Children, it is the last hour the end of this age; and just as you heard that the antichrist is coming the one who will oppose Christ and attempt to replace Him, even now many antichrists (false teachers) have appeared, which confirms our belief that it is the last hour.
Dear Beloved, the Holy Spirit had bestowed on me to announce, remind and disclose to all and sundry that “The set TIME is near that when we first believe”. The bells are ringing with miracles, signs and wonders. God made everything beautiful in His TIME.
Beloveth, be reminded that there is a time and a season for everything. Let us be on our guard for the end is NEAR.
Message Outline:
A. I will highlight two (2) stories about TIME so that we can build our Message God willing; (The first, is the story of Gehazi and Elisha and secondly is the story of the ten Virgins ).
B. Lesson from the Stories.
C. Implication of these stories
D. possible solution to redeeming our time in our dispensation.
A. The Story of Gehazi and Elisha (MOG) (2Kings 5:20-27) In summary Gehazi miss out his destiny completely. After serving Elisha for some time, when it was closer to receive a double portion of anointing, he miss out completely just for silver and garment. (V26. Elisha said to him, "Did my heart not go with you, when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? IS IT A PROPER TIME to accept money and clothing and olive orchards and vineyards and sheep and oxen and male and female servants?).
B. The story of the ten virgins. (Mat 25:1-13) In summary, all the ten virgins prepared for the coming of the bridegroom. But unfortunately, the other five failed to understand the timing. (Matthew 25:6. But at Midnight(time) there was a shout, 'Look! The bridegroom is coming! Go out to meet him).
LESSONS FROM THE STORIES:
1. Gahazi failed to understand the time. The time which Gahazi was, was to stay close to the Man of God to continue his service, not to go after silver and garment(gifts).
2. The five unwise virgins, actually made effort to fall within the time, but unfortunately they missed by out because the did not fully prepare for the bridegroom(Christ).
IMPLICATIONS FOR NOT UNDERSTANDING THE TIME:
1. Not been alert: Beloveth, Jesus is coming like a thief in the night night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 & 2Peter 3:10.
Who knows that it could be when we are so busy with our night activities or sleeping, that He will return. In the parable of the Ten young virgins, Jesus came in/by NIGHT.
Beloveth, the perilous times, signs and wonders of Jesus second coming are clear (the pandemic, earthquakes, massacre killings, Nation raising up against another, economic world order, micro chip, the mark of the beast etc.)
May the Good Lord give us an understanding of the Time concerning these happenings in Jesus Name.
2. We become lukewarm: Just like the Laudecian Church. May of us are neither hot nor cold.(Rev 3:16-18). We need a revival in the Land. (SS&S 309: Revive thy work Oh Lord!,
Now to thy saint appear,
Oh, Speak with power to every Soul,
And let thy people hear).
Beloveth, without revival, when the trumpet shall sound and time shall be no more, many will may not hear it sound.
3. We are sleeping: Many of us are sleeping instead of whatching and waiting in prayer. (Eph 5:14 says awake oh sleepers and Christ will shine on you.) 1 Corithians 15:34 also encourage us to awake for our righteousness. Grace is all I see for all of us in Jesus name.
4. We are carried away: Beloveth, let remember Lot's wife. The enemy has drift and digressed Many men and women of God away. Their attention is now channeled by fame, tithe, prosperity and posterity. We are failing to pay great attention to the season and time for the last days.
5. We are unprepared and unready: Beloveth, from our text today in
1 Peter 4:7. But the end of all things is at hand(this means time is almost running out); therefore we need to be ready, serious and watchful in our prayers.
6. Lovers of ourselves only: Beloveth, we are in the last days. 2 Timothy 3:1-2 But know this, that in the last days, perilous times will come: v2. For people will be lovers of self narcissistic, self-focused, lovers of money impelled by greed, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane and they will despise what is good.
My Beloved Brethren, the devil knows and Understand that his TIME is short, so he Working hard to win souls for his kingdom(hell fire).
This why we must wise up, let us know that the end time is near.
SOLUTIONS TO REDEEMING OUR TIME:
A. Be Alert: from our text we need to Remain holy, have self-control and surrender all to Jesus (1Pet4:7).
B. Love God and Love one to another: Be there for others, 1 Peter 4:8. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins."
C. Preach the Gospel: Those who preach must preach God's messages; those who serve must serve with the strength that God gives them, so that in all things praise may be given to God through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and power forever and ever.(1peter4:11) Amen.
Beloveth, in the light of the above charge, may announced to us that: let us be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord(1 Corinthians 15:58).
And that, Christ is coming quickly, and He is bringing rewards with him, to give to every one according to his work. (Revelation 22:12.)
Dear Beloved, time and chance happened to them all, therefore, let us have this Understanding that the end is near and be HOLY, and also WORK for your reward while is day for night is coming where no man can work. PRAISE THE LORD HALLELUJAH.
PRAYER & MEDITATION:
Dear Lord, thank you for the revelation of your word. Please grant us the grace stay prepared and ready for the second coming of our Saviour in Jesus Name AMEN . GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY.

Labor of love. 1 Thessalonians 1:3 A labor of love is work done for the benefit of someone else, not for personal gain. Thus defined, the truest labor of love is Jesus' atonement for us, taking the penalty of sin on our behalf. The Apostle John focused on the love of God, giving us John 3:16, probably the most well known verse in the Bible. It seems reasonable to go to the letters of John to see what a labor of love looks like for Jesus followers. Seven things stood out to me. 1. Keep your word (1John2:5) 2. Keep your focus upward (1John2:15-17) 3. Be bold in your faith (1John2:24) 4. Practice righteousness all the time (1John3:7-10. 2John 6) 5. Care for the needy (1John3:17) 6. Keep away from idols (1John5:21) 7. Provide for teachers, preachers, ministers, and missionaries (3John 5-8) Can you imagine if all of us who call Jesus, "Lord" practiced these demonstrations of love consistently? These seven things can demonstrate a true labor of love in the Church. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Im4zqHfuK/?igshid=17w1z8wrhxm4j

I HAVE GIVEN GOD COUNTLESS REASONS NOT TO LOVE ME. NONE OF THEM HAS BEEN STRONG ENOUGH TO CHANGE HIS MIND. #repost @jesus_ins.gram “We love because He first loved us.”- 1 John4:19 #jesusloves ”And love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”- 1John4:10 #jesuslovesyou If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. 1 John 2:1-6 Missions Reflection
Nadi - Day 3
Christ Our Advocate
2 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
Lightbulb
Verse 1 - ‘My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin...’. This verse stuck out to me because you’d expect John to provide some sort of list, tips and tricks or life hacks for how not to sin. That’s how our moral thought usually works with problems. Most major religions follow this approach: You’ve got something wrong with you, here’s a bunch of things to do to fix it and be right with God/the universe.
John offers his audience reflection and knowledge. He points his readers to the knowledge of Christ’s sufficient work on the cross for the forgiveness of sin. He points readers to reflect on the standard set by Christ and how they might fall short of it. The latter only makes sense with the former. Attempting to obey commandments and rules without knowing the end result leads to anxiety and uncertainty. “Am I good enough?”. “Have I done enough good stuff to outweigh the bad stuff?”.
But with Christ, we know the end result; promised by a God who has delivered in the past and walked among men as a man to prove it. So obeying commandments now is a result of knowing the end result. Obeying out of joy, gratitude and reverence.
Question
Verses like verse 4 are translated in such a definite way with words that have a sense of finality to them. First reading of it makes me question how it comes along side the fact that we are being sanctified and won’t be perfect till Jesus returns.
Arrow (Application)
Verse 4 - ‘Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him’. This is a solid reminder to not be complacent and to be constantly asking God in prayer to reveal and convict me of where I’m lacking and where I’m not following His commandments, whether consciously or unconsciously.

April 9--Precious Promises--Day 9
Today’s Promise: ETERNAL LIFE–EVERLASTING LIFE
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1 John 5:13 (KJV)
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” John 6:47 (KJV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ” John 3:16 (KJV)
Today’s Thought: “And this is the promise that He has promised us–eternal life.” 1 John 2:25(NKJV)
The Promise of Eternal Life or Everlasting Life (the word for both is the same in scripture) is for those who believe on and in the name of the Son of God, who is Jesus.
To believe means: to have trust, faith, or confidence that:
Jesus is the Son of God (John 3:16)
Jesus came to save His people from their sins (Matt 1:21)
God raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9)
Jesus is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25,26)
Jesus is the Way,Truth,Life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6)
Today’s Prayer: Dear God, I Believe that Jesus is Your Only Son. I Believe Jesus came to save His people from their sins. I Believe that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. I Believe in my heart that You, God, raised Jesus from the dead. I Believe in and on Jesus for Eternal life. I Believe that Jesus is now seated on Your right hand in heaven, God, interceding for me. I do Believe and I claim this Promise of Eternal Life today! Thank You for this wonderful gift of eternal life God! In Jesus name I pray. Amen
