“Satan's Plan B” By Dan Evers:
“If Satan has a Plan B, then it stands to reason that he also has a Plan A. So let’s start with that.”
“As the great deceiver that he is, Satan’s first priority is to do anything he can to keep us from being saved in the first place. He doesn’t want us to have a personal relationship with Jesus. He doesn’t want us to draw close to our heavenly Father. Satan wants to be our father. He wants us to serve him.
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8 (NIV)
Satan will go to unthinkable lengths to keep us from getting saved
Lucifer will subtly twist the truth like he did when he was tempting Jesus in the wilderness. He even seems to be comfortable telling outright blatant lies that can easily be discredited by someone who has wisdom and knowledge. He’ll tell us that science proves the book of Genesis is just a fairytale and that Jesus didn’t really die on the cross, but only fainted and later recovered. He’ll tell us anything that we might believe in order to steer us away from the truth.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” —John 14:6 (NKJV)
Another tactic that Satan uses is to draw us into addictive behaviors that violate God’s laws. He makes sin look so appealing, doesn’t he? Satan will try to draw us into pornography knowing that it often leads to sexual affairs and broken families. He’ll tempt us to steal, cheat, and lie. He’ll tell us that life is short, so you’ve got to do whatever makes you happy. That's one of his biggest lies. Living our lives to satisfy only our own desires instead of living out God’s plan for us never leads to happiness. It might be fun for a while until it ends up destroying our lives.
If he fails to steer us away from accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord of our lives, Satan pulls out his Plan B card, and boy is that card full of tricks. Here are some of them:”

It was not Christians but rather God incarnate who declared, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” [John 14:6]

"This Life" / "The Way"
“This Life” / “The Way”
When I was in college there was a cult pouring its poison into unsuspecting students who didn’t know their Bible. Truth is there were dozens of these cults stalking the spiritual lives of young impressionable students. The one that I am thinking of called itself  “THE  WAY”. They used biblical words, talked a lot about “Jesus” and offered a weekend class called “Power for Abundant Living” for…

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” Something I’ve seen recently is people trying to “be good enough to work their way into heaven” (aka they’re “on their own journey to get there”). Except, we can never be good enough. We’re always going to fall short. Romans 3:23-24 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." So what does this mean? If we can never be good enough to work our way into some sort of heaven, what do we do? Acts 4:12 says, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’“ -John 14:6 Jesus is the ONLY way. By His grace, we have been saved. Not only that, but salvation is a free gift (Romans 3:24)! God loves us so much that He won’t force us to do anything we don’t want to do. He gave us free will. Therefore, we can choose to love and be with Him, or we’re going to choose otherwise. Would it truly be love if we were forced to love and be with God? No! God truly loves us and wants us to choose to love Him.  So what are you going to do now? There’s the best gift in the whole wide world sitting right in front of you. Are you going to choose to take it?  "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." -Romans 10:9-10

Getting Connected
When I was a widow traveling alone between Tulsa and Austin, I made sure jumper cables were in my auto’s emergency kit. I only used those cables just a couple of times. Amazing what one can do, when they are the only one who is there to do it! As many know, the answer for a dead battery is a set of jumper cables that are used to get the electrical juice from the battery of another car to…

“Then Jesus said to them, “Why are you fearful? Have you lost your faith in me?” Shocked, they said with amazement to one another, “Who is this man who has authority over winds and waves that they obey him?” —Luke 8:25 (TPT)
“But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” —Matthew 9:12‭-‬13 (ESV)
“But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” —Isaiah 64:8 (ESV)
“Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too.” —John 14:6 (TPT)

A month ago I was literally bawling my eyes out on God asking for help, and I asked Him. Through tears I asked, why do I have to be so lonely, why do I feel like none of my friends and family truly understand the sadness that I am feeling, why can't no one bring me comfort. And at that moment I just gave up, I surrendered to him our God Almighty, I asked for help. He answered my prayers I cannot believe this, this month I got closer to Him and He helped me see the light and my faith was restored. I can't even bear to listen to secular music anymore, I couldn't bear to listen to lana del rey I dont find comfort on secular music anymore I could only find comfort in God. God saved me when I've always done nothing but sin my whole life. I am a sinner and God saved me, I couldn't believe I am worthy of being saved and forgiven I've sinned so much you wouldn't be able to physically count it. I let pride get a hold of my heart, the same sin that got satan kicked out of heaven. My heart was filled with anger for myself, my family, and this world. I turned my back to God and yet He accepted me and dug me out of the hole and suffering that I'm in. I turned my back on God and yet He answered my prayers and cry for help, I am not worthy, I am a sinner. God greatly humbled me and I thank Him for saving me everyday. I can't explain what happened to me my life literally did a hundred and eighty degrees turn. The past months im literally pilling up sins before sins, I get consumed in alcohol, I cursed and hated my mother, I was angry all the time and I was prideful and the moment, the very moment that I prayed for God to help me and save me, He did. Those unseen tears that you shed God saw them and He understands. I am not worthy of forgiveness but God has forgiven me. If you think no one loves you, hear you, and understand you, just know that God always hear our prayers and He loves us.
