I can’t do the full decade long comparison meme since I did a total of five pictures in 2009 and don’t want to show any of those haha but I thought showing a comparison of two very similar pictures would be a better way to show improvement.

Most notably I’ve gotten better at hands and faces (and hair has gotten fluffier on Enj but that’s been going on for a while.) I used to be really afraid of drawing hands but my job has gotten me so used to making hands I’m not afraid anymore. Exposure therapy.

What’s gotten worse though is uh, my production level of personal art. Hoping I can be better about that in the upcoming year!

The top one was created in either 2013 or 2014, idk one of the two. I was/Kinda still am proud of the old one, I’m so happy to see such a huge improvement!

2013 vs 2019. art improvement. charot. good thing i kept my old drawings in a clearbook so i could take a look and be disgusted of how a noob i was (well, i still am today). the oldest ones i found date back to 2013 only. but at least i could see how much i improved.
