Even though she's not my favorite interpretation of Jane Doe, I still love her

My fav Emily!Jane doe design is 2019 jane, just like, aughhhhh, look at her hair

I LOVE the flying sequence of 2016, because its iconic, but my fav Emily!tbojd is 2015!! You can hear her voice pretty well, the instrumentals sound awesome, and she's just like, walking around in the audience with her dolly

Also she was one of the only actors who supported Yannick after the whole mccarter thing so yea, WE ALL LOVE EMILY ROHM ON THIS BLOG🗣️🗣️🗣️

2015 Fall Fair Suite knew what it was doing omg

I think I like this one better than 2016 Fall Fair Suite??

Ocean was the one to say that they were the only choir in competition when they got second place the year before, which I actually think makes more sense than Karnak saying it cuz then it feels like Ocean responds to Karnak which she isn’t supposed to do cuz it’s before the accident, idk

The actual song before the accident is longer too

“Some original tunes by our local cover band” 💀

The Saska-teen line definitely sounds like something a teacher would write

And Misha beatboxing in the middle of the song lmaoo I can kinda see that they probably had to make him more uninterested and that’s why he doesn’t beatbox in later openings (also cuz it doesn’t really fit in) but I like to imagine that either he was bored and started beatboxing even though he wasn’t supposed to

or they got second second place the previous year partially cuz he wasn’t participating so they had to see what to do to make him participate and they agreed to let him beatbox just so he’d agree to actually do something that’s not sitting on his phone

And then the minor turn instrumentals sounds like Tragic Fact I love it sm

I LOVE the dead halt when they say the first “how can this be fair” too UGHH

Then the verse where they talk about the fair and getting on the Cyclone and realizing they’re about to die!!!

“MY LIFE IS FALLING OFF THE TRACK I KNOW I’LL NEVER GET IT BACK” AAHH 10/10 no comment

And then the rest is almost the same as 2016 Fall Fair Suite

But Ocean sounds more regretful when she sings during the “round and round” bit cuz in 2016 it’s “Had a strange feeling from the start, got our tickets, stood in line, a rickety cart, I did not feel safe at all” which kinda sounds like she’s just saying “I knew it wouldn’t end well, this is why you trust your instincts”

But in the 2015 version she says “life was about to start, why did I get into that rickety cart? It did not feel safe at all” which sounds like she’s upset with herself for making the decision to ride the Cyclone

And then Noel is the one who wanted to wipe his browser history clean instead of Constance, I think that checks out, I can see him searching up some sketchy stuff lol

Anyways I’m done rambling now I js can’t believe I forgot about this version it’s too good

Okay, I finally decided to get all my thoughts about 2015 RTC (14/02/2015) into a sort of comprehensive, semi chronological list.

. We already had a Tragic Fact recording, but it's nice to have options. Also they REALLY want you to know they'll be damned if they're working at the mall

. I love Sarah Jane Peltzer's voice

. U.R.A.N.I.U.M is nice, but, God it's hard to hear the lyrics

. According to Kholby, Noel canonically would've written "bisexual werewolf stories", and I just think Noel's terrible writing should be focused on more in fanworks

. Noel's Lament is essentially the same, but it was the version where Monique has a kid. I get why they cut it

. Ocean's dad being left-wing and her mum being right-wing makes for a really interesting conflict, and contextualises "Some of us are left-wing, some of us are right wing..."

. The full version of Play To Win is so different to how imagined it. (And pretty ableist, so yikes) Very catchy though. And I love Rielle Braid.

. Tbh I understand why the crowd loved Play To Win so much.

. As an avid Ocean fan, I really enjoy Brooke Maxwell's whole speech about her character.

. I'd love to see a woman play Mischa in an actual production, however...

. No "take a look baby, he's the real ka-ching"?

. Let me tell you, I was jumping for joy when Small Things Become Big Things started playing. Well, more accurately, I was so happy I could have jumped for joy but I was saving my energy for other matters.

. References aside, STBBT was almost exactly how I expected it to be, although it was slightly short

I want to scoop Jane up and give her a fluffy and weighted blanket and a mug of warm milk and honey and pat her on the head and tell her she's doing great.

Also, I would like to brush her hair. Or.. her dolls hair, I guess?? I think more productions should have Jane with hair bows, too. Because she's a cutie patootey and should look like it.
