In 2022: My Chemical Romance performed their 58th show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour in Inglewood, California, USA. At this show, "Fake Your Death" was performed live for the first time and only time ever, an unreleased song entitled "Sister to Sleep" was performed live for the first time since 2003, with new lyrics, and "SING" was performed live for the first time since 2012. Five tally marks were drawn on the drums. (🖤)

if i had a nickel for every time people attempted to cancel or deplatform will wood over stuff blown out of proportion just before a big ww event i would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice

#(context: first time - june/august 2022; he was accused of grooming a minor when it was actually an of-age sex worker who wouldn't respect #his boundaries. this was just before the release of in case i make it)#(second time - september 2024; he was accused of forcing a minor to date his friend john maisto [probably spelled that wrong but oh well]#and apparently threatened to assault her if she wouldn't. what he actually said was something along the lines of ''i'll fuck you if you're #not dating my friend'' which dont get me wrong - that's still a huge scumbag thing to say but its not a threat #this has been brought up just before the slouching towards bethlehem tour #keep in mind: will has stopped associating with jon ages ago after finding out he groomed someone #plus all of this was said to have happened twelve years ago - which as most of us know was when will was on every drug under the sun and #yknow #can't remember a single fucking thing that happened that year #you can come to your own conclusions about this but just remember will has held himself accountable for everything he's done in that period #and that will 12 years ago is a completely different person to will today)#will wood #will wood allegations #<- hate having to use this tag tbh

other people have said this but i really feel like touring every year takes the excitement out of it, especially if you're on the road for most of the year. not only is it physically taxing on the people performing, not to mention the people who work behind the scenes like those who tear down and build up the huge ass sets, but imagine the excitement of concerts after restrictions lifted. imagine the excitement of getting to see your favorite group for the first time in 2, 3, 4 years. when there's not that much time between tours it's so much less exciting, not to say you can't still be excited but it isn't the same. and as we've seen kpop companies love to have comebacks in the middle of tour and add in other schedules which has consistently led to injuries that never heal because all they do is give the person steroid shots instead of letting them rest

#i think the last ateez us dates were late 2022 ? so it's only been like a year and a half #we really don't need them on the road every year #tour can last for a long time and they always have some kind of comeback or japanese release in the middle of it which makes it as bad as i #is #i think it wouldn't be as bad maybe if we didn't know that that is most likely gonna be the case yet again #if kq could treat ateez like they treat xikers it would be less of an issue #but they also wouldnt be going on tour just a month and a half after promotions end #theo.txt

So I just looked into that top 50 celebrities list put out by myclimate.org and they say that they "only use data that celebrities themselves publish," meaning that someone being tagged in a post in one area of the world and then the next day posting in another area is how they calculate mileage and emissions. It seems like a pretty glaring data flaw when Taylor obviously isn't going around posting her location or having people tag her in things most of the time, idk. I agree that there's a lot of undue focus being put on Taylor, specifically, when clearly it's a more widespread celebrity problem, but it feels like misinformation to me to be using that study as a gotcha.

#its somewhat unclear how theyre collecting this data but it really doesnt seem like they're using anything other than social media #so no news sources or gossip sites or anything like that which would be posting taylors location consistently #it also does say tags count but like how does that even work when fans tag celebrities in unrelated posts all the time?#does it have to be a tag from a mutual or something?#anyway this data is bad and doesnt actually help taylors cause im sorry to say #it also says the no 1 polluter is travis scott with 6 million kg in 2023 compared to taylor swifts 8.2 million in 2022 #which is data from before the eras tour even started so 2023 has gotta be way higher than that #taylor swift

In 2022: My Chemical Romance performed their 22nd show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour, their first of the North America leg, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. At this show, "Bury Me in Black" was performed live for the first time since 2003, and "This is the Best Day Ever" was performed live for the first time since 2005. Gerard Way wore a "Watchmen" shirt and clown facepaint, and "BIG DEATH ENERGY" was written on the drums. (🖤)
