[2k3 2k12 cross over]
God his head was spinning! Casey grunted as he got back onto his feet, taking a moment to find his balance. Geese what a fight! It had completely taken him out - though for how long he didn’t know. What also didn’t make sense was the fact he was alone - shit, he hopes Raphs okay
Cupping his hands around his mouth, he began to call out,
“Raph!! Raphael!!! Yer seriously didn’t leave me did’yer?!”
He was being dumb, nothing new there. Figuring staying the floor was the worst idea, Casey headed to the roofs and started to search. It took a while, but he soon saw a familiar red mask, tails billowing in the breeze. Casey gave a faint sigh of relief,
“There yer are Raph,” he soon huffs, “Kinda rude as fuck t’ leave yer boyfriend’ behin’ like that yanno - but I guess I’ll forgive yer, yanno, for a kiss~”
He laughs a little, only stopping now that he gets a real good look at them from behind his mask,
“Uuuh, yer gotta new look or somethin’?” He asks, “Yer look taller,” not quite as tall as him though, “Darker green too, no eyes on show either,” clearly disappointed, but Casey still grins, “Still look good babe, real fuckin’ good.”
And there he is, giving ‘fuck me eyes’ from behind his hockey mask. Now if only he could stop being horny for 2 seconds to realise this wasn’t his Raphael
| muse interaction
“Raph!! Raphael!!! Yer seriously didn’t leave me did’yer?!”
Raphael swore he hear his name being called out just now, as if being carried out by the wind. As he was going about a solo run right now, leaping from roof to roof. Eyeing out any action that might be going on that he could get in the middle of. But seemed the city didn't have much to offer a slight huff under his breath maybe he should hit Dragon territory? Casey likely was there himself now. But that was when he heard it it. Enough to get his attention off being bored he just couldn't place the voice? Sure maybe there was some other Raphael being called out to right now? it wasn't impossible but nah he always relied on his gut and right now his gut was telling the turtle to check this out.
So he set out to make his way toward the sound, crouching down on the edge of the the roof as he peered down to the street. It sounded like it was coming from the streets before, as eyes were focused on the ground narrowing into a sharp glare, that feeling in his gut just wasn't going away something was up. He hated that he could feel it but couldn't seem to see what was causing it. like it was leaving him on the edge. Moving suddenly at the faint sound of a breath behind him as he turned on his heels finding...a kid. Least he thinks?
They were dressed in all black, from the hoodie covered in what may just be different colors of paint, well the sleeves torn by the shoulders layer on top a long sleeve black shirt. To Black jeans, a white hockey mask, painted up like a skull covering their face outside thier large brown eyes and hood pulled up over their head.
“There yer are Raph,”
Okay so that answered some things he been wondering, they did know him but try as Raph might he couldn't place this kid at all? He felt like this get up should be easy to recall for sure. Only guy he knew that went around in a hockey mask was well Casey.
“Kinda rude as fuck t’ leave yer boyfriend’ behin’ like that yanno - but I guess I’ll forgive yer, yanno, for a kiss~”
Tumblr media
"..my what?" Was all Raph could say looking them over closely "Casey?" he questioned but there was no way this was Casey. Casey was huge, a giant of a person. Built like an ox and huge as a one too. This guy? Was as scrawny and one could get. The bit of skin he could make out was pale as all hell. They were laughing as if part of the joke going on her but it left Raph wondering what was wrong with this kid. Keeping distance between them but he did step a bit closer. Despite the spikes on the hockey gear they were weaning as padded he was pretty sure from how relaxed they were holding themself that they weren't going to pull something. Not that Raph felt this kid was any threat to him. Arms folding over his chest as they seemed to get a closer look now.
“Uuuh, yer gotta new look or somethin’?”
Brow rises up a little, Raph hasn't changed?
“Yer look taller,”
Raphael did hit a growth spurt sometime ago but yeah no he still didn't know who this kid was not to mention he was still stuck on them calling themself his boyfriend. Sure Casey was an idiot but he wasn't THIS much of an idiot.
“Darker green too, no eyes on show either,”
"my eyes?" not so focused on the remark about his skin tone being different apparently really this kid should take in all these differences they were point out about Raphael. It should be enough to clue them in that something was right. Raphael? yeah only so few people knew what his eyes looked like. Others would just assume his brothers and him didn't have eye colors but there was some clear disappointment in this kids voice when they said it. This was driving Raph nuts how the fuck did this kid know him sort of but also not know him? For a moment the turtle started to wonder if this was actually Casey, he was pretty aware they liked his eyes but? no Casey knows they keep them hidden away when the mask was on so?
“Still look good babe, real fuckin’ good.”
Raph now takes a step back again easily reading the expression in their eyes. Of course, Raphael knew a set of 'fuck me eyes' when he saw them cause well he gave Casey them a lot. Okay yeah this was..this was weird.
Tumblr media
"Kid the fuck is wrong with ya, did ya land on your fuckin' head or somethin' ?" Raphael soon asks. Even more wondering who the fuck they were and what the hell was going on. Waving his hand so to express a go away motion at them as he made his way to the edge of the building ready to jump over to the next roof "Now scram kid I ain't got time to play around with some nut case." Maybe he should be a bit more cautious seeing as this kid seemed to know of him at least. Yeah that part is weird? He knows for sure he don't know this kid. He paused a second and looked back at them. Something was familiar but still so very off? he couldn't explain it. Looking over his shoulder a moment it was pretty clear this kid would just follow him anyway. They clearly had some or all their screws lose. Look how they were dressed and running around like that? What did they think they were some hero? yeah the get up did remind him of Casey but Casey was a full grown adult not some stupid kid.
He reach up and dragged his fingers over his face, even if the kid didn't follow him they looked like they get into trouble. Raph couldn't explain how he knew that he just KNEW. He grounds his teeth and growls a little to himself annoyed. Turning back around and walking over a bit "Don't annoy me" he warns aiming a finger at them. "ya clearly lost so tell me where ya live can at 'east make sure ya get home safe yeah?"

Rise of the TMNT is the best incarnation of the ninja turtles and it’s not even close.
It’s absolutely the best depiction of siblinghood. The way the turtles always joke on each other, but never in a mean spirited way...and even when they do legitimately get annoyed with each other, it never lasts that long and they make up. The brothers are so loving and affectionate with each other ALL the time.
None of the other versions of the turtles, not the IDW comics, not the 2k3 cartoon, certainly not the abysmal 2k12 version...none of them can match Rise in this aspect.
The boys also feel like actual teenagers too as opposed to adults who happen to be teens. Other good version of the show could write the turtles as more teen-like, but it was never consistent in the way that Rise was.
And I know I’ve said this before, but Rise April completely shits on EVERY single April that came before. April is treated as the fifth turtle; as an integral part of the family. She has her own life and personality outside of the turtles. She’s treated as an equal.
Me and my sister talked about this recently, but April in previous versions just...isn’t all that compelling as a character by herself. She’s obviously an important character, but either the age difference (2k3, the comics) or shit-ass writing (2k12) severely limited her interactions with the turtles.
The strength of Rise is that from episode ONE it establishes April as a completely integral part of the group. She’s not a blank slate personality who happens to know a bunch of turtles. She’s a fully realized character.
Splinter in Rise...also easily the best version of the character too. I remember when I first saw his design, I thought he was pretty gross looking and that’s exactly what they were going for. But I wasn’t into it. What a fool I was.
Hamato Yoshi/Lou Jitsu/Splinter is a complex character on his own OUTSIDE of just being the turtle’s dad/teacher. He’s not some ultra wise sensei anymore. He’s a character who fits under the “chosen one” role, but who completely rejected and ran away from that role. And that is SO fascinating. He’s vain and arrogant, but also deeply unsure of himself in terms of his responsibilities to the Hamato clan.
And I saw someone else on this site mention this, but his new origin story kind of fixes some of the weirder aspects of the TMNT franchise, namely the Foot Clan. There are no more ninja clans running around in present day. Splinter is just one person in a long line of warriors sworn to protect the world against an ancient evil. It does a lot to fix a lot of the weird orientalism that plagues a lot of the past TMNT incarnations.
Rise even goes as far as to make Oroku Saki a redeemable character who just wanted to protect his people. I loved this twist so much mostly because it’s just...so much more original than the similar stories the past versions of TMNT have gone with. As a result, it also makes Karai extremely compelling from multiple angles.
The entire theme of Rise of the TMNT is family and it nails it so perfectly in so many different ways. It has set the bar for TMNT impossibly high.

I got it! Wandering and homeless drabble. Au and pairing of your choice
Finally going to give this a shot -
Lanters AU (I’m basing Usagi’s voice off of the 2k12 series and Donnie’s on the 2k3 series)
——————
Usagi didn’t know what to do with himself nor his new bride. He had tried so hard to stay alone, keep others safe by actively avoiding them or even going out of his way to make sure only those that could defend themselves would be his travel companions. After all the roads of this country were dangerous to travel, especially for a Ninshin. He turned to his side, casting his gaze far back expecting the Lantern to be trialing. He startled when he saw the pretty olive face only a step to the side and behind. This turtle was a very quiet one, he would have to be careful. It wouldn’t do to have his pretty Golden Moon to wonder off and get hurt.
“The merchant said you understand my language very well.” Usagi tried to start up a conversation. After knowing this Ninshin for only three days, and even married now, he had yet to hear the other’s voice. Did he have a voice? After all he only received a nod to show recognition of what he just said.
The samurai stepped back, turning on his heel and stopping quickly. The turtle bumped into him, light and soft, so warm and close. It made his heart beat quicken. The other quickly stepped back and bowed deep.
“Forgive me.”
Usagi felt his mouth water, his racing heart stammered and skipped at the sound of the soft voice.
“There’s nothing to forgive.”
The turtle stood up straight and looked around, he started to walk off in what seemed to be a random direction. Usagi quickly going after him.
“Hey, where are you going?” He grabbed his wife’s arm, stopping him.
“To find a switch for you to beat me with.”
“B-beat you. Why would I beat you?”
“You had said there is nothing to forgive, then I must be punished until forgiveness is allowed, Master.”
Usagi quickly turned the other towards him, his hands gripped slender shoulders as he stared into dark eyes with a hard gaze. If he had not been upset he would have swam in those pretty eyes, the color of dark moss on a stone.
“I am no Master, I am your husband. I will never raise my hand against you, do you understand?”
The other looked a bit confused by this behavior. Usagi raised a hand and caressed the other’s cheek to show the sincerity of his words. Tenderly he brushed his thumb over olive skin. “When I said there was nothing to forgive, I had meant that you had done nothing wrong. I had stopped too quickly. …I am sorry for this misunderstanding.”
He pressed his lips against his wife’s forehead before pulling away, taking the other’s hand and gently tugging.
“I also have to apologize to you for another thing.” He glanced back and smiled at the confused Ninshin. “Well, for a few things. I’m sorry that you are now married to a homeless, penniless, Ronin. I am also sorry that I had wed you without even knowing your proper name. I doubt Tamara is really what you were given upon birth.” He gave a gentle squeeze to the hand in his. “I would like to know your real name.”
There was something in the other’s eyes, some sort of recognition. As if a memory came forward and he grasped upon it. The turtle fell silent though, looking down to his feet. His hand clutched tightly to Usagi’s fingers and the samurai would be pleased with this. For the first time he had seen an emotion in the other that wasn’t subservient or confusion.
They continued to walk in silence, eventually releasing their hands. As the day passed some times Usagi would hum or talk about nothing but random things he knew about. He had no home to take his wife to, so, he would have to take him along his travels until either he found his spiritual enlightenment or they find a good place to settle down. If need be, he could leave his wife after establishing a home and travel once more, send money back home. It wouldn’t be hard. He could even talk to some friends that could take the Lantern in to keep him company while Usagi was away, he could venture back a few times a year to be a proper husband for a few weeks before leaving once more.
He was musing over different ideas of what to do when that soft voice spoke up, it felt like silk brushing up against his spine.
“Donatello d’Alviano.”
Usagi stopped, eyes widening in wonder as the other’s accent showed his native tongue. It was… beautiful. He smiled and tried to repeat it.
“Dana…teryo di Aro… aro…bi ah…no.”
This time he said only his first name, slower, tilting his head back and exaggerating his mouth movements. At first Usagi was puzzled as to why he was doing that but caught on quickly that he was demonstrating the tongue and lip movements needed for saying his name.
“Don, a, tell, oh.”
“Don, a, te, ro. I like that name, it’s a pretty name. Donatero.”
“Low.”
Usagi quietly practiced the “L” sound under his breath as they continued on their way. The rest of the day his mind was preoccupied with trying to pronounce that pretty, pretty name that belonged to his pretty, pretty wife that he completely forgot what he had been thinking about before.
It was an hour after nightfall that they found an old abandoned farm house to bed in. There was a cold draft that washed through the hut. Usagi set his swords to the side and dug through the small pack of provisions he had brought with them. He was surprised when the glow of a fire filled the room, he smiled over his shoulder at his wife. Donatello crouched over on his hand and knees, the other holding the tails from his purple mask away from the flames as he blew on the tiny spark, encouraging it to lite the small pile of grasses and twigs.
They had a meager dinner afterwards, Usagi brought Donatello to him. Pulled him close so his shell faced the fire. He gently stroked his Lantern’s arm as he laid with his head resting in the palm of one hand. It didn’t take long for the both of them to drift off. Before he dozed he looked down to the one breathing softly against his chest. He brought his knuckles up to the other’s cheeks, brushing affectionately.
What was he going to do? He was dangerously close to falling in love with someone he barely knew.

Just Friends: Leonardo x Reader
WARNING: NONE
Requested by: Anonymous
Would you do something with 2k12 leo? maybe, if it's not to much to ask, something where he and the reader are still "just friends" and have been for a long time but maybe the reader makes a goofy mistake and they're laughing about it and he accidentally says something like"you are too cute"? just if you want to and have the time. thanks!! i love your blog, it always cheers me up
Tumblr media
“Oh you wish you had my mad skills,” You teased, circling the dojo and waggling your eyebrows menacingly at your opponent, which only seemed to make him laugh harder.
“Say that again when I win,” Leo taunted in reply, waiting for you to make your move.
You couldn’t fight to save your life, hand-eye coordination was never a strong point of yours, and what little arm strength you had never seemed to be enough to fight even Mikey. But, on afternoons like these when there were no Krang to beat up, or foot bots knocking on the door, Leo would ‘practice’ with you. He knew just as well as you did that it was a lost cause, but you two enjoyed spending as much time together as possible;not to mention, the fight would eventually just turn into you two teasing each other from opposite ends of the room, before Leo tackles you to the ground and declares himself winning. That was inevitable, but mocking him made it all the more amusing.
“Don’t get your hopes up, blue; I’m unstoppable.” You continued to joke, waving the sword in your hands. Leo often lent you one of his Katanas to fight with, which was sweet because you knew he hated people using them.
“Oh yeah - prove it!” Leo grinned, holding his own Katana up in front of him. God he was such a try hard, even when you two were just joking around. If you’d been anything like Raphael, you would have put him in his place; but it was fair to say you were nothing like Raph, and certainly not as strong or skilled enough to kick Leo’s butt. So, instead, you resorted to pulling faces at him.
“I’m alright, thanks. You’re better looking from over here anyway.” You teased, mimicking Leo’s actions. If you weren’t any good with the sword, the least you could do was pretend you were - even if Leo already knew you were barely holding it upright.
“So you think I’m good looking,” His cocky smirk grew , and his eyes began to twinkle in their usual mocking way.
“Better - not good,” You replied, feeling your cheeks begin to burn.
It was something that had been there for a while, and only Raphael knew about it. Since a year ago, when you’d first started spending more time with the leader in blue, and getting to know him, feelings started to arise. You knew they weren’t mutual, which was why you hadn’t said anything; the only reason Raphael knew was because he’d asked if you two were a couple, and upon you saying no, he kept asking questions. You eventually came clean, and since then Raphael makes a habit of teasing you, mostly in front of Leonardo, but it was nice to have someone to confide in, so that you didn’t bottle these feelings up completely.
“Yeah, yeah. You know that I’m irresistible,” Leo winked, making your stomach surge like a tsunami, and chuckled low in his throat. If only he knew how much that was killing you.
“Keep telling yourself,” Your smile slipped a bit, the sad feeling, that he would never know how you really felt, beginning to set in. You wanted so badly to be able to tell him, but that would just screw up your friendship, and you wouldn’t give that up for the world.
While your mind was wondering over the thought of Leonardo, he swept his leg underneath yours and brought you to the floor with a proud and broad grin. “I win.”
You laugh softly, looking up into his dazzling blue eyes as he lent over you. God he really was irresistible.
“I want a rematch.” You pouted, making him chuckle to himself. That was your best attempt at making your time together last long, even if it did mean falling onto your butt again and again, in front of your crush. It was worth it to be around him.
“You’re cute,” Leo mumbled, looking down at you with warm eyes and a small smile. You almost miss heard what he’d said, because it seemed to impossible that Leonardo, the leader in blue, could have complimented you. But watching as his eyes grew wide, and his jaw slacked, you began to think maybe you had heard correctly. “I mean - ya know - wanting a rematch, and all - not like - ya know - cute cute - not that you aren’t - but I mean -” He stumbled over his words, and his feet as he backed away, resulting in you both lying flat on your backsides.
You stared blankly at him for a second, trying to get your mind to catch up with what Leo was saying. Was he...blushing?
You sat up, and scooted over the mat to sit beside him. “I take it back.” You sat, watching his eyes graze over literally everything else in the room except you.
“What?” He frowned, looking nervously at you.
“What I said before.” He still didn’t quite catch on to what you were implying, and his blue eyes were clouding in confusion. “You’re definitely better looking up close,”
His frown sprung into his usual, cocky grin and he beamed at you, having heard what you just said. “Oh so you do think I’m good looking,”
“Better not good,” You laughed, watching as Leo scooted closer too, so that he could look into your eyes. “And you think I’m cute?” You cocked an eyebrow at him, and watched him smirk.
“You know I’m irresistible.” He muttered, still smiling his wide smile at you.
“Keep telling yourself that,” You muttered, and waited for him to close what small gap remained between in.
It didn’t last long, but the kiss was perfect. You could tell Leo was nervous - but you, your nerves were running a marathon, and you could’ve sworn as soon as your lips touched his, you were about to pass out. It was perfect.
“Still want that rematch?” He smirked at you a second later, pulling his mouth from yours but not leaving much room between you. His eyes were dazzling, and his face was definitely blushing a different shade of green.
“Maybe later,” You teased, and kissed him again.

Sfw Donnie x Reader drabble
I have no idea why I even tried this. I don’t do second person, or reader fics..nor am I remotely close to being Donnie. I always see turtle comforting reader fics so I thought
Why not try it the other way?
Was meant to be Bayverse but probably could also work for 2k12.
Its really just a stupid thing but it’s under the cut here so your dash isn’t clogged with a text wall.
It was relatively quiet in the lab. The only thing pulling you from the book in your lap being the occasional clink of a beaker or the whir of a machine. You would look up and watch Donatello work for a few moments, shift in the extra large beanbag he had found for you, and then return to reading. You both enjoyed this quiet, and while Raphael had hinted to Donnie a few times that he was the ‘most boring boyfriend’, you couldn’t have disagreed more. The surface, and the lair... everything was always loud.  It was rare that the two of you had quiet time to just relax and do things you enjoyed.
Tonight had been a scheduled date night, the others had gone on patrol and you were supposed to go out. After the others left, however, you had suggested to stay in. Donnie was more than happy to go along with the idea clearly excited at having time in his lab without his brothers bothering him.
You looked over to him again, and smiled when you noticed his tongue sticking out. Full concentration mode meant you could sneak out, and he could probably use some coffee, so sneak out you did.
When you returned it didn’t look like he had even moved, much less noticed your absence. He was still hunched over his microscope and fiddling with a slide.
“Hey.”
You said it quiet enough so he wouldn’t be startled. Ninja or no, the lab was his safe place, and unlike two of his brothers he let his guard down. He looked up at you with a questioning gaze before his eyes zoomed to the coffee.
“Hey.” He replied, a small smile making its way to his face.
“You looked like you needed this.”
Donnie rolled his chair back from his work area and nodded.
“Probably.” He sighed and rubbed his eyes. “I still haven’t figured out the proper components for this salve I have been trying to make. None of the ones we can get our hands on have worked all that well, and I keep thinking that if I can get one to react with the mutagen in our system, I could make a super healing one, It’s just tricky because the hem-oh.” He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly when you set the cup in front of him. “Rambling. Right.”
“I told you already, you aren’t boring, I just wanted to get comfortable.”
You shook your head, and motioned for him to lean back so you could settle onto his lap. Don happily shifted so you could snuggle in, but bit his lip, still doubting your words. He reached for his coffee with the arm that wasn’t wrapped around you and took a sip, clearly debating on if he should reply to you with what he was actually thinking.
It wasn’t the first time you had this conversation, and you doubted it would be the last.
“Hey.” You said again to get his attention, this time touching your hand to his.
“Hey.” He supplied, though half heartedly. You could already see his brain working over every negative possibility, so you squeezed his hand, making sure he was completely focused on you.
“I may not understand everything you explain. You’re a genius Don.” You hurried as you watched him start to fade away again “I won’t get it all, but it’s still interesting, and you get so excited that I get excited for you.” He looked down, doubt still etched on his face. “If I didn’t like spending time with you like this why would I have even suggested it?” You sighed when there was little change in his demeanor other than a tightening of his hold on you.
The relationship was still novel to him. He had a hard time initiating contact, and when you did, he held onto you like you would disappear at any moment. You didn’t like to think about what was going through his head to make him act that way, but in the few months you had been together it seemed like this particular worry of his was getting worse. You turned your face and kissed his cheek, hoping the action provided some reassurance and it seemed to work as he turned and placed a soft kiss on your temple.
That hope was erased when he let his forehead rest there, worry rolling off him in waves.
“Sorry.” He whispered after a few moments, and kissed you again. You felt your heart clench.
“Don.” you sighed. He was too kind for his own good. “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t like you. All of you.” He tried to say something but you turned and shushed him with a finger on his lips. “Unless it’s you talking about what you have been working on in full detail, I don’t want to hear it.” The idea slowly formed in your head. “No more kisses until I get a full explanation. Well, maybe one.” You removed your finger, and took advantage of his confusion to leave a short, chaste kiss.
You liked him. A lot. So you didn’t mind being patient.
You slid off his lap, and he remained quiet, puzzling over his new predicament. You took the time to pull a second chair over to the desk. Patient did not mean idle.
“Your coffee's getting cold.”
“My- oh yeah of course.” He took it and started sipping it again, eyes shifting from you to his desk.
“So what were you looking at?” Maybe with a little encouragement….
“Cells.”
“What kind?”
“Raphs.”
“You got Raph’s cells?”
“Raph’s blood cells.” He proudly pointed to a vial of blood in a stand next to the microscope. You chuckled.
“Doesn’t he hate needles?”
“Terrified of them, but nothing my genius and cunning can’t overcome.”
That made you laugh and when you looked up, some of the tension was draining from Donnie’s shoulders. A good sign.
“So Raph’s blood cells huh? Can I see?”
“Uh, yeah sure. Just let me get a new sample since this one kinda. Well-” He trailed off as he pulled the slide from the microscope and glanced at you with another look of doubt. You nodded and he sighed before continuing.
“The vials here next to the blood are a few mixes of the compounds I thought would work on the cells and mutagen, but you need the right quantities and ratios and this last time was very much lacking in the saponin department.” He finished preparing a new sample and slid it under the microscope, motioning you to slide your chair where his had just been. After a moment of teaching you how to adjust everything he let you look, fingers playing with your hair as you leaned over the machine. You hadn’t realized how powerful his microscope was, and soon you were staring at cells that weren’t like the ones from your textbooks.
“Weird.”
The fingers in your hair stopped.
“Something wrong?”
“No.” You pulled your attention away to check on him. “They’re just different.”
“Still more human than turtle.” He said quickly, as if cells were the base of his self worth.
“Why is that? I mean you mutated from a turtle right?”
“Well based on how we’re now structured it’s mostly a demand of our system. Especially circulatory and digestive. I never have been able to figure out what came first, since I don’t have a lot of access to specimens--that I could actually dissect. Not that I would really want to though.”
You hummed in understanding. Donatello was kind, and the idea of dissecting another mutant wouldn’t sit well with him at all.
“If you want I can show you what a few bacteria do to Raph’s blood cells.” He sounded almost too giddy to have some fun at his brothers expense.
“Sure, so long as I’m not getting in the way.”
Don had shot up from his chair to clear the desk and get it set up. “I have to go back to the drawing board anyway I used my last compound sample when you came in.” You stopped him when he came back over to hand you a pair of rubber gloves, and wrapped your arms around his neck.
“As promised.” You caught his lips with yours and sighed when he responded, always gentle and thoughtful, from the way he kissed to how tight he allowed himself to hold you.
Eventually you needed air, but you stayed close, his forehead dropping to rest on yours.
“Hey.” You murmured, eyes closing when you felt his knuckles ghost down your cheek.
“Hey.” He replied warmly.
It would take time, but you were patient, and this was a start.
