It had been years since Alice had ice skated last. She could remember the sounds of others learning, the feel of the ice beneath her skates, the sound of those skates moving across the ice and the roar of the wind in her ears. The nip of the cold against the back of her neck with her hair tied up gave a shiver down the Italian's back as she stood at the edge of the ice, waiting to step out like a child waiting for their mother to tell them it was ok to cross the street.

Alice had not skated in some time for a multitude of reasons. Some were excuses, some were real reasons but today the woman was bound determined to get onto the ice for the first time since-

*Thud*

The sound of someone falling on the ice had her snap out of the trance she was out into by her thoughts. About the days filled with practice, competition, and the accident that ended it all. A pang, followed by a shiver vibrated through her chest, throbbing as an invisible ache. Long since these times, Alice had made a full recovery from any physically sustained injuries. Mental injuries however…remained unsolved even with years of therapy. 

She could not do it. Alice shook her head, stepping back a few times before beginning to stumble on her skates. There were tears beginning to fall that she did not even recognize in her sudden panic, only knowing that she *had* to get away from here. There was no real or present danger besides her mind plaguing her endlessly. Losing her balance, the woman fell into someone and managed to right herself shortly after, unable to speak through the trembles and how her mind raced through past events. She just…stared at the stranger instead.

The smell of the city made Alice’s nose scrunch as her heels clicked down the sidewalk, heading towards a large hotel ahead of her. Her grandfather had fallen ill and her sister was busy, so the Italian had taken to help her grandfather by attending a business meeting for him with another company. She had met the owner of the other company before since the older man was a friend of his.

Alice preferred cute but more casual attire back at home in her flower shop. However, today called for something dressier and so she met the occasion with neutral makeup and a nice business styled dress. Her long, curly hair was pulled up into a high ponytail with her bangs left out. Her big, honey colored eyes glanced around the lobby of the busy hotel while she walked to the desk. It was fancier than anything she had been into in a while. It was pretty nice though. That was something that the woman could appreciate.

Once she got to the desk and checked in, the next stop was to her room to put her stuff away and touch up before the meeting was to start in a room on the main floor. Alice still had some time to kill, but not enough to really go out venturing. Just enough to get settled and ready.

The hour between her arrival and the meeting came and went pretty quickly and soon, Alice found herself sitting in the meeting room with several other business men and her grandfather’s friend. His son was also in attendance. It had been sometime since they’d seen each other last and he had grown quite a bit since then. It was…nice to see him again. She gave a smile and wave as the meeting started.

The meeting passed slowly, though it went well. With everything settled for the time being, Alice decided to get some food and maybe do some shopping once she was changed and a little more comfortable. She stepped out and into the elevator and as the door began to close, she could see her grandfather’s friend and his son walking towards the elevator. She put her hand in as well as hitting the open door button so that the pair could get in and not have to wait for it to come back down.

“What floor are you two going to?” Alice asked as she looked up at the taller gentlemen, honey brown eyes watching the two men as she waited for a response so she could hit the button.

//buckle in folks and get ready for a rarepair list because I’m dumb and like to suffer, apparently. (Also, most of these are au based, I rarely rp canon anymore, which is why I mainly refer to them using human names)

1. 2p Spamericano

yes, you did read that right. I can never choose between 2p spamano and 2p romerica...so I squished them together. I love this ship for many many reasons. There’s always like a jealous streak between Al and Andres that makes Flavio laugh, and he loves them both to bits. But the thing I really love about it is that they’re so supportive of each other. Andres not getting out of bed cuz he’s Sad?? Flavio is THERE with cuddles and coffee, and Al will drag him along on grocery trips so he’s at least out of the house for an hour. Allan feels insecure?? Andres will probably snicker and tell him to get over it, but is a good listener, and Flavio is ALL about self confidence. Flavio feeling bad? Well, he has two supportive bfs who love him Lots and assure him he’s not Terrible. I could go on for hours. FOR THE SAKE OF THIS, I’M NOT GOING TO REPEAT ANY CHARACTERS

2. 2p Dennor

Oh my god, did someone say disaster couple???? Because these two are a damn disaster and I LOVE them. They’re horrible, absolutely horrible, they’re never sober, and they’re such a freakin’ PDA couple. Despite their faults, they have a lot of love for each other. Chris has physically fought people who insult Lokki, and will gladly do so again. So, really, despite their shenanigans, I really adore how much they love each other, and that they have the patience to support each other as they change and grow as people. (Not in canon tho, in canon they act like they hate each other unless they are very not sober)

3. 2p Gerita

if I were repeating characters, this would probably be 2p Denita but that’s for a different day. 2p Gerita. Lutz and Luci. One of my first OTPs. Can I just say, Lutz is an adorable dumbass, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s so, so gentle, and respectful, and caring, and understands completely when Luci needs space, or time, or cuddles. He will gladly give cuddles whenever, mind you. I really don’t have an explanation for them, other than it’s really really beautiful to me to see Lutz accept and welcome Luci into his life wholeheartedly, despite everything that happens in both of their lives. Also,,, They are just adorable together.
