Bomb Rush Cyberfunk: Headcanons, Red

Inspired by a couple other users! @mechanical-magician @dragonmarquise @robotredhead @hccupit

Major story spoilers under the cut.

The TDLR being: taking the postgame character select at face value; Red is reborn as a true cyberhead with Faux’s body. He still retains the memories of his journey due to his memory chip being present in the cyberhead that held Felix. In fact, quite a few of his systems were present in that cyberhead during the journey, minus an actual AI component. It was simply a matter of finding all the pieces of him and putting him back together.

His memories of the final confrontation are a little fuzzy, mostly because he willingly passed the reins to Felix during his last sit in DJ Cyber’s chair. It was then that he realised only Felix could finish things with Faux. Red was quite literally just along for the ride at that point, unable to influence or understand much of what Felix was saying and doing. Everything ended for him once the cyberhead was shattered. He still wishes he could've spoken with Faux.

He and Felix have agreed that the best way to describe their situation is: “He's me, but not really.”

He's maybe like Felix’s younger sibling? Maybe?? Red hasn't asked.

Technically, he's died about three times (four if you count as Faux.) Always being rebuilt, always coming back. It confuses him as much as it disturbs him.

He died two times in Mataan. He swears he felt what it was like for each piece of him to be scattered while retaining something akin to a consciousness.

Because of his lack of a human consciousness uploaded to his cyberhead system, he's basically a robot. All AI. And yet, he's still surprisingly human. DJ Cyber surmises that it's because he's based on Felix. That being said, Red has been having fun figuring out things he can do as a full cyberhead.

His eyes glow in the dark and turn off when he's asleep. He's scared the hell out of Tryce at 2am multiple times.

He has a habit of getting straight to the point when speaking. Not out of frustration, he just doesn't quite understand how to turn conversations naturally in a direction. He also tends to be a little slow to process things. Please be patient with him.

Red’s lack of a human consciousness also leads him to be fairly oblivious when it comes to understanding the rules of human society. It's one of the things Tryce and Bel noticed about him once he was recreated, but they're more than willing to help him understand things. A lot of the crew find it endearing.

The dreams he has are as vivid as he remembers, but a little different. He now has a full machine mind, so it's taken a while to get used to.

He finds it a lot easier to learn by doing. It's even better if it's a practical skill and he has something to touch and fiddle with and figure out the intricacies of.

Despite temporarily sharing a mind with Felix, a man in his late 20s, Red seems to be more naïve and youthful. He's also noticeably more enthusiastic and impulsive than Felix. This, combined with him using Faux’s body (being in its early 20s,) results in Red coming across as someone aged 18-22.

For someone so young to have experienced death multiple times, it does tend to bother him. He worries about wiping out or sleeping for too long and having to be stuck back together again.

Bel has been teaching him how to make beaded bracelets. He hasn't quite gotten it yet, but constantly wears the one Bel made for him.

Back when they were still searching for Faux’s head, Red would try to be as careful as he could with his body (though he wasn't always successful) and wouldn't allow any changes to it without Faux’s permission. Today, Red feels comfortable enough in his own skin and even likes to paint his nails with Bel.

He has a 3DS! His favourite games are Miitopia and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.

Whenever he gets flustered or stressed, the fans in the back of his head whirr quickly. Once you figure out when he's actually flustered instead of stressed out, it's really cute. His face also tends to be warm to the touch when this happens.

He was required to think of a legal name for himself for the books, and decided on Redmond. He knows it's not very creative but doesn't really care.

Back when he was first named, he took to ‘Red’ immediately and quickly designed a tag for himself, too. It always felt like him. Simple and to the point.

Faux’s body is scarred up because of the confrontation in Mataan. Red has been used to this body ever since he was created, but has to be reminded that it's perhaps a little more fragile than he remembers, at least until he's all healed up. He's also always had a neck scar, but finds it a bit more itchy now that he's been re-attached to a body two extra times.

His cyberhead is painted. By default, his model is white (like Escher.) Because of this, whenever he wipes out and gets scraped up Tryce and Bel are always offering to repaint his scratches.

Red has been getting into more installation-based artwork. He likes finding small trinkets and mechanical parts and sticking them together. He says it speaks to him somehow.

He sleeps like a rock. (It's not a cyberhead thing, it's just him.)

Yeah I just started browsing through the comments on that Reddit post and I'm kinda upset. I fully understand that certain subsections of the community don't want shipping to be involved with their fanfare, and honestly, I think it works out better this way for us shippers to be sequestered off to communities like this. I just wish that if we're not talking about shipping there then why does the subreddit have to take cheap shots at us for no reason?

Seriously though, I've been lurking this blog for about 4 months now and sending in anon asks for about 2. I've been very adamantly against people going out of their way to argue with non-shippers about the "truth" for no reason, and I view this Reddit post as the direct result of people doing that.

I think that the proof we have is pretty conclusive. I actually only became a "shipper" after I saw the proof because I usually think of shipping real people as unethical. In this case though, it's appreciating the dynamic of two people I already know to be together, so I think that's fine.

In all honesty, if I had interacted with this community before seeing the proof, I woulda thought you all were psychos too, and I woulda been right in that thread with those redditors.

You might think the solution to this animosity we face is to spread the proof farther, but this is not the case. Shayne and Courtney are in a private relationship, and though this proof is all public info, to spread in directly goes against their tacit wishes.

Also, regardless of whether or not anyone here is actually parasocial, I hope we all admit that most of the proof we have was gained through dubious means. Stuff like noticing similarities in their apartments' architecture and Courtney wearing Shayne's clothing is fine, but those family photos, arguably our most damning proof, were gained through what is by definition cyber-stalking, whether you like it or not. We have a moral obligation to not intentionally spread shit like that. I've heard talk before of an incredibly depraved Shartney Discord server that effectively existed for the sake of cyber-stalking the two of them. 3d, if you know what I'm talking about, please do tell. Point is, if we go out of our way to intentionally spread proof like that gained through immoral means, we become just as bad as that Discord server VERY fast.

So, if you can't spread proof, but people wom't be convinced unless you spread proof, what should you do? Don't engage!!! I get that hearing people in r/smosh be blantanly ignorant and condescending towards us sucks, but guess what? We get to say "we told you so" in the end, and that's what really matters. Stop going out of your way to argue with people if you don't like normie Smosh fans having a negative opinion of this community, then stop fighting with them over shit that doesn't matter!!!

Oh yeah we definitely don't want this to spread further for sure. Tumblr is essentially the only and best place for fandom community to existing in. Which is why I picked this place because of all the community that I has been before and how like mind we are.

For sure a lot of stuff we accumulated are from shitty means which is why the twoshrimps post only contain fully public picture that each people still put it on the internet to see. It's also a very bad argument to be used if you go and argue about it as well. If you tried to using it please don't do it anymore. It paint us in the bad light even we are not the one to obtain it in the first place.

The story of art: how it changed over time

art is something that human beings have been using to express themselves since the Paleolithic era, thousands of years ago.  However, not until the Paleolithic era, men started using rock art to engrave important facts about their lives on cave walls and like a way to express themselves. With the development of society, the development of arts also began from various cultures, in different parts of the world. This is what we are going to talk about today, how does the rock arts on the cave walls turned into NFT or digital cyber arts? 

not since the old age, art was practically used to express their lives and feelings in a different way than speaking. In ancient times, pyramids began to appear in Egypt, huge Greek and Roman buildings started to improve each time more, and with the passing of the years, new ways of art were being discovered and getting more importance. Also, the amazing arts in the roof of churches that were very famous in that period, and every time people started admiring art. Although, only after the renaissance, in the beginning of the modern age that they began to use art to portray the beauty and power of individuals. It was also at this time that new ways of making art were being discovered, new painting techniques, new materials and new ways to the artist to express themselves. As a result, art aroused interest in people more and more, and the public for different types of arts grew more and more.  

In contemporary times, art was already something broad, which allowed anyone to express themselves in any way through art. Regarding, this is how surrealist, abstract and impressionism arts appeared. Over the years, technology has emerged, and it has become easier and easier to use. A good example of this development of the technology being used to improve art and create new ways of art is the artist Desmond Paul Henry in 1950s, he bought an analog machine, which inspired Henry's engineering mind to try and find a way to capture his internal movements on paper. It was then in 1960 that he modified the machine so that it became a drawing machine, which could map complex curvilinear abstractions differently from the programming of his colleagues who also studied and worked with computational art. The difference with Henry's machines was that, although the images produced by the artist resembled drawings created using geometric lathes, the art created by the machine was completely unpredictable, depending on the adjustments made to it, which allowed for spontaneous and abstract art. That’s a good example of how the technology helps to improve the art. Nowadays, we have a million of resources that we can use to produce various forms of art, such as 3D printing, pixel art and the famous NFT's. NFT's are very successful nowadays, as they are digital arts sold for very high prices, which can only be purchased through bitcoins, currencies that only exist in the virtual world. NFT's only have value if they are purchased through electronic device screens, they have no printed value at all. Behind every art there is a code, which affirms that the art is true. Crazy that never had we thought that we would gradually transform the art of cave painting into arts like NFT's and arts made by machines.

I got into vocaloid I think maybe 2-3 months before I played my first ever Project Diva game. I was aware of the series pretty much as soon as I got into it but I didn’t have a chance to play any of it for a while.

⭐ - Difficulty you usually play on?

It depends but I usually play on hard but there are still a few songs that I prefer to go normal on. I've being trying to work up to going for extreme but I haven't had any luck yet.

This is also one I've previously answered (on the same post even) however unlike before this answer's changed somewhat since I've made this ask game.

I managed to fix up (most of) the issues I was having with Project Mirai DX so I've been playing it on/off for the past 2-3 weeks or more. I love it so much (pjd extend's still my favourite though) everything just looks and feels so silly (and also because it's a more recent game there's more than like. One Kaito song). Also Megpoid the Music# I will never be normal about that game even though it hurts to play.

I first encountered the panel-line aesthetic in the 1995 anime "Ghost in the Shell" - it's a particularly memorable movie for me as it was when I began to learn the Japanese language. Panel-lining on humanoids can be seen in much anime of the cyberpunk genre, but of late, I've been seeing it every day in Night City playing Cyberpunk 2077 ;-) And now we have Smart Doll Cyber Shell where the panel lines complement and enhance the ball joint aesthetic. Electroplating is used for various purposes, including protecting metal surfaces from corrosion and improving an object's appearance. We use the electroplating process to create the paint masks for the cyber shell panel lines. Electroplating is a process that uses electricity to coat an object with a thin layer of metal. It's like painting, but metal covers the object's surface instead of paint. Electroplating involves setting up an electroplating bath. This container is filled with a special solution with tiny particles of the metal we want to use for coating. We also need two electrodes, or metal wires, that we can use to carry electricity into the solution. Next, we attach one of the electrodes to the object we want to coat (usually a vinyl or 3D-printed master) and the other electrode to a source of electricity. When we turn on the electricity, it causes a chemical reaction in the solution that makes the metal particles stick to the object's surface. As the electricity flows through the solution and into the object, it causes the metal particles to build up and form a thin layer of metal on the surface. The thickness of the metal layer can be controlled by adjusting the amount of time the object is left in the bath and the strength of the electric current. A full-body cyber shell is a catch-22 process to paint - we need to pre-heat the vinyl parts or the masks don't fit properly - but when the vinyl is squishy, edges blur easily during painting, meaning that we need to start again - and each part has several masks... Helmet Cyber sub-zero from the game of the mortal kombat 9 This helmet was modeled on the basis of a scan for Pepakura, which I found on the Internet! After modeling the main part, detail was added! When modeling, I tried to make some elements finishing so that after 3d printing it would be easier to process, load and paint, and then it would be possible to screw to the helmet! Electronics and backlight can be added at my discretion, I also thought through these moments and made end-to-end places on the ear antennas so that the wires could be stuck there! had a dream that was really long. how much can I get before it goes away? anyway summary: i'm from the alternate pixel dimension & i have to undergo seven trials of color. we got to 3

anyway i was originally from a slightly more cyberpunky futuristic dimension that lay directly along the normal one. everything in that dimension was made of like pixels like Minecraft blocks.

that part started bc aliens paid us to operate giant Mecha to defend against something for them, but didn't train us at all - we just had potential. somehow. but it was not great tbh. and we were on the younger sife and sort of irresponsible.

anyway I escaped.my.mech or I was done for the day & was running through cyber town or whatever. it looked like Laketown from the hobbit except that everything was made of variously sized 3d pixels. I also had a grappling hook so I could get to higher up zones easier. the whole thing kind of felt underground bt at least on the top floors with their rickety walkways and everything, there was a crack above with sunlight pouring in.

anyways I also got some kind of message that the ancient ones or something needed me to master the 7 colors powers. it kinda felt similar to the seven deadly sins or whatever but it was what it was. the first fight was kind of easy - I broke a large minecraft block sized pixel with the tool I was given and hid my body in the black void outside of the map while the rabid dog woman thig that was my first opponent, the yellow one, sniffed abd tore at the ground - but it was always just out of reach. my soul floated untethered innthe center of the arena. eventually I won.

I don't remember the second boss, I think it was the green one. it teleported me to the real world, the middle of a small grocery store & I had some experience talking to real people and interacting, but I don'tremember the challebge itself. the third boss was the red one and she looked like lust fma. she trapped me in the human world on a time limit but hinted I'd need to build the contraption to return. also she'd appear in reflections to mock me. not like mirror reflections but anything with shine - the metal hooks that products were hanging on, a pot that was for sale, the back of a shelf, etc.
