one of these days im going to release my tlm drafting headcanons from my notes app purgatory and that day is Today.
HERE'S HOW I THINK LEGO MOVIE CHARACTERS WOULD PREPARE AND MAKE DRAFTS
...under the cut
Batman
• Fairly good at drawing. Somehow able to draw straight lines without a ruler perfectly fine every single time but otherwise nothing super noteworthy (he does brag about this constantly however)
• Drafts in white and yellow posca pen??? will use white colored pencil for finer detail however, specifically one of those mechanical colored pencils
• Drafts on black paper because he thinks it makes his designs cooler (it doesn't)
• Dimensions in imperial and would be annoyed if you dare even *insinuate* he use metric. no justification here
• Doodles around his drafts, specifically likes to doodle bats and himself because he, once again, thanks it makes his drafts cooler (the bats kinda do)
• Refuses to leave notes on his designs. you either know what to do or you don't
• Does however write his drawing title obnoxiously large
• Used autocad for like a day, hated it, switched to solidworks and never went back
• Buys autodesk licenses for the rest of the masterbuilders. unwillingly, mind you, wyldstyle just knows his credit card information and abuses it
Benny
• Good at drawing exclusively spaceships. big shock i know
• The king of eyeballing a line or an angle and then labelling it however the fuck he wants. proper measurements take time he could spend drafting or making more spaceships, he'll save measuring and straightedges for drafts he deems important enough
• Uses blueprinting paper. there's no practical purpose for this, he just digs it
• Drafts with whatever writing utensil is on hand
• He gets inspired quite often so he usually keeps a drafting notepad on him just in case
• Leaves a *lot* of notes. Most of them are completely unnecessary and are a funny contrast to his haphazard dimensioning
• Pretty dang good at autocad! Usually reserves it for projects that require a lot more collaboration however
• Usually drafts in metric, can dimension in imperial but prefers not to
• 100% sets autocad to the light background like a monster
• Do not give him any 3d modelling software, he might blow up the computer
Emmet
• Either really good or really bad at drawings (obvs leaning towards bad. we remember the break in plans)
• Dimensions in imperial. I cant justify this one he just does. god bless america or something idk
• Owns a couple drafting pencils but rarely uses them, most of the time he drafts in marker or pen much to the chagrin of anyone who needs to read his drafts (or delight if you're unikitty)
• Started learning how to use autocad after taco tuesday and he's actually pretty good at it! he does use an architectural dimstyle for everything though which is particularly annoying when he's quite often not drafting buildings now
• Has labelled and colored layers 👍 enough said
• Uses disgustingly thick lineweights. horrible.
• Rarely if ever 3d models so he's not good at it, he mostly works on things that 2d conveys better anyways
• Although he's not the best drafter of the master builders, his construction background makes him the best at reading drafts, give him a unikitty draft and he can decipher it like it's nothing
Metalbeard
• Probably the best at drafting of the master builders, he's got the age advantage and lots of practice from making ships
• Drafts in pencil, quill, or charcoal depending
• Who needs straightedges or angle stencils when youre basically a pirate cyborg, expect robot like precision
• Doesn't use standard measuring conventions, instead opts to use the dumbest things possible. The Sea cow's units of measurement were seagulls. It isnt that he cant do normal units of measurement, he just prefers his made up ones
• Makes his drafting paper by himself
• Pretty good with 2d and 3d modelling surprisingly. He doesn't like either, however, he much prefers drafting on paper
• Leaves an average amount of notes on his drafts but has the most disgustingly fancy cursive and writes in his piratey english. Often a nightmare to read if you aren't used to his writing
• Will sometimes do blueprint swaps with Benny wherein they critique each other's work. not sure when they started doing it, but it's become a weekly activity for them
Unikitty
• Worst drafter of the main masterbuilder crew. Most people think it's because she's a cat but no she just doesnt take drafting seriously in the slightest
• Drafts like she's making an arts and crafts project. She has put several bottles of glitter on singular drafts and she will do it again
• Dimensions in rainbows, no knows what this means other than emmet
• Gives the longest, most complicated titles possible
• No such thing as straight lines
• Is entirely capable of drafting properly, just refuses to
• Leaves notes that are entirely unrelated to the draft. she wont tell you how youre supposed to connect two objects but she *will* tell you about the sandwich she ate while making the draft
• Doesnt use autocad, looks too boring
• Didnt use any 3d modelling softwares until she realized you can change the appearance of materials. that was a game changer. still much prefers drafting on paper though
• Likes drafting with emmet sometimes since he seems to be the only person who understands her drawings. to this day no one understands how he does it
Vitruvius
• Going blind has, surprisingly, not made him much worse at drafting, just changed his process a bit
• Drafts in pencil
• Probably the person who least frequently drafts of the main masterbuilders. On account of just not needing to and also on account of being dead
• Dimensions in the old anglo-saxon units of measurement
• Doesn't title his drafts and doesnt see a point in doing so
• Leaves the most vague, utterly confusing notes on his drawings. theyre still related to the drawings unlike unikitty's notes, but theyre very odd
• Doesn't use autocad or 3d modelling softwares, partially because he wouldnt really be able to on account of being blind but also partially because he doesn't really know what they are
• There isnt really much to say about his drafting skills he's about as normal of a drafter as a masterbuilder can be
Wyldstyle
• An engineering teacher's dream student. She may not have the amount of experience metalbeard has but she's still very skilled
• Doesn't like drafting on paper and won't if she doesn't have to
• When she does draft on paper she uses a drafting mechanical pencils. she also 100% collects them
• dimensions in metric to exactly 3 decimal places
• leaves very few if any notes (always very concise ones if included)
• has a case of staedtler stencils that she bought 4 years ago and never uses
• picked up a habit of doodling on drafts from batman but will never admit she got the habit from him
• Autocad PRO. Also really damn good at solidworks and fusion. Give this girl a computer and she'll give you a motorcycle assembly within the hour
• Specializes in automotives
• Spends time with Emmet on the weekends teaching him how to use digital drafting softwares (this process was incredibly frusturating at first but gets easier with time)

Recently I was helping out clearing a house and while taking out the old furniture out my eyes fixed on a little box in the corner. It was a wooden box from a sparkling wine producer called "Matheus Müller". The old owners of the property liked drinking alcohol. The box was empty and in a good shape, except from some minor discoloration from age because the wood had no varnish on it to give it any protection.
I have no idea what it contained in the past but I knew what it could contain in the future: my miniature paint! My paint was stored in a rather small box that was way too small for the paint I gathered over the years. As you can see in the picture above it's not a little amount. I just needed to expand my storage.
When I got it home the first thing was to get my hands dirty and use sand paper to get rid of the wood discoloration and a huge printed picture. Removing it was quick and the over all cleanup of the surface made it instantly more pleasant. As much as a depiction of a scene with a river with boats and a castle in the background in poop brown has its charm I wanted to give way to a more cleaner look. After that I gave the box a good layer of matte wood polyurethane varnish that I still was good. I prepared a stencil of the D&D logo and printed it out with my 3D printer and used it to airbush a good layer of black primer in the hopes it sticks well enough the the varnish. I wanted an extra protection in case I messed up the stencil part but luckily it was OK. I had some problems as the air pressure of the airbrush lifted parts of my stencil. For my first attempt I'm satisfied. Originally I wanted to put another red layer on top of that but I chickened out and the black was good enough for me.
For the inside I had the idea to use the Gridfinity system. It is an open source system that uses a grid to keep inserted bins and other types of inserts in place when the whole thing is tossed around (within reason of course). I downloaded this file for the grid and bins and this one for my paint in drop bottles. I could print bigger inserts but firstly I wanted to get rid of ABS filament that warps too much if it were any bigger and secondly I wanted to keep it small enough if I wanted to reconfigure the inside of the box in the future. The ABS filament was a huge pain to print out to begin with. It was the cheapest filament imaginable as it was part of a 3D pen. Not only gave me the filament head aches from the fumes but also many many many print failures due to extreme warping and the filament breaking apart.
The only thing that I can rant about is the AWFUL Citadel paint. It dries up way too fast. The STUPID tubs don't seal well enough and it's TEDIOUS to get paint out without contaminating the paint with other paint. It's another story for another time. As soon as I empty the Citadel paint I won't buy anymore of them. This is why I didn't made any special inserts for them.
Despite all the problems I had I am somewhat OK with the result. Yeah... I see the flaws at every corner and step I made, the prints aren't as clean as it could be but I made something from stuff I was already getting rid of for something another one wanted to get rid of. I rather have it at the state it already is instead of chucking it into the bin and doing all the work all over again for minor flaws that don't impede the functionality and practical use of the box.

Along with investigating the makerspace, I’ve also been pondering how to achieve my vision as described here.
Heat transfer vinyl would be easy because the library has a vinyl cutter (Titan, never heard of it and got nothing when I searched the discord), but I don’t want that for this. I don’t want a layer above the cover, however thin (foil technically is too but you know what i mean). I want gold foiling onto bookcloth. But I’m too much of a perfectionist to trace font by hand with a heated quill pen, which is the next most accessible option.
The BEST option (other than foil stamping with metal dies, which is really what I want but not realistically achievable) would be the foiling attachment on a Cricut, but I don’t have one and they’re too expensive. My friend has a Cricut but I don’t really wanna ask an IRL friend for help with something fandom/fanfic related. I like those things very separate.
The library also has a 3d printer and a laser cutter, so I thought about maybe making a stamp? And if I used paper instead of cloth I could use embossing powder.. Or maybe I could use either those things or a vinyl stencil to do hot foil quilling through? Or possibly spray paint?? Hmm idk idk.
Like I want it to look like this, but on bookcloth:

Art Journal Pages
These are just some basic notes for creating art journal pages. You can do it however you want with whatever you want about whatever you want.
Background:
You could go with a solid colour, decorative paper, photographs, a map, magazine page, a combination, or nothing at all.
You could add texture with patterns/textures made with stencils, stamps, masking techniques, collaged elements.
Focus:
An image or other element, generally placed slightly off-centre for more dynamic composition.
Borders:
Washi tape, doodles, stamps, stickers, small drawings, solid coloured strips.
Consider contrasting colours, ribbon or lace, something that reflects an aspect of your focal point.
Text elements:
Notes and reflections on what you're making the page about, names, labelling, a title, a quotation or focal phrase, poetry.
You could glue in printed versions, hand-write the whole thing, use different types of lettering and fonts, different coloured pens or pencils, use letter stickers, or cut outs like a random note.
Embellish:
Smaller photographs or images to complement the focal point.
You could also use cutouts, stickers, small drawings, doodles, patterning, or line art.
You could add 3D elements as well, but make sure it's not going to be overly problematic for storage of the book, nor closure.
Include flip-outs, fold-outs, and pop-ups.
Final touch:
Use fineliners, gel pens, and other colouring tools to add shadows, lettering, mark-making, and other fine touches.
Consider sealing your page with a clear medium or clear gesso to protect the work.
Notes:
Don’t be afraid to experiment with different materials and techniques.
Embrace mistakes, accidents, and remember to go with the flow.
You can also do these projects on loose pages so you can frame and hang them.

Place of Words - Image Generation
Here is the first lot of experiments I did for my image generation.
I began by looking through the article again and also the notes that I had made. At this point, I wasn't sure which direction to head in with the imagery so I did a variety of mixed-media experiments based on the research images that I had gathered. As well as this I began working on a design for the magazine masthead "Relay".
Stencilling experiment with an ink pen.
Tumblr media
Stencilling experiment with red ink. This was quite a gory experiment, which I planned to be a powerful full-page image. I cut a page down to make it the correct measurements required for the magazine, making it easier to see how the image would look in place. This experiment was somewhat unsuccessful due to the fact that the paper I used for the stencils wasn't thick enough or glued down properly, allowing the ink to spread underneath them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cow flesh and limb experiment using modelling clay and ink. This was another one of my gorier experiments, meant to represent the reality of the meat industry and the disconnect between consumers and meat products. I was very happy with the detail I was able to capture with this piece, and I plan to use it as a core image within my magazine article due to its impactful effect.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These were some dot-work experiments based on a section of the article that makes the comparison between a crocodile's teeth and a steel blade, referring to an animal's death in the wild compared to an animal killed for meat. The crocodile turned out well, but it was very time-consuming. I didn't complete the other illustration as I was unsure if this detailed illustration style would be consistent with the rest of my images.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the logo, I experimented with making something bold, blocky, and modern that would stand out amongst competing magazines. In addition to this, I had previously mentioned that my magazine or article topic would be aimed primarily at young adults, so I tried to consider that when designing it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chained-up calf photographic experiment: My chosen topic is challenging to capture with original photographs yet requires a realistic portrayal for maximum impact. I utilised a found image of a chained-up calf, enhancing it through background removal and level adjustments in Photoshop. The unbordered image, with ample white space for accompanying text and the chain extending beyond the page edge, I felt would command a powerful presence on the page, representing the very real and ongoing issue of factory farming, especially with the chain extending beyond the page.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tutorial Feedback
The feedback from my first tutorial was mostly positive, my tutor was particularly enthusiastic about my 3D modelling clay piece and expressed how they admired its uniqueness and level of detail.
The advice I received was that some of the pieces were perhaps too gory and would make it difficult for readers to view the article as they may be too repulsed and distracted by the imagery. I was also advised that I should focus on making the imagery more consistent and that the dot-work piece whilst impressive perhaps wouldn't fit amongst everything else I'd done. Regarding the logo I was told that although it was a sleek and interesting design it might not perhaps be suited for the tone of the magazine/article.
I countered objections regarding the gore in the images, emphasizing that viewer discomfort is integral to the article's message about the hidden cruelty of the meat industry. I believe in the necessity of including a shock factor for impact and memorability, rather than taking a cautious approach.

3D printing pen ideas for beginners
Tumblr media
For beginners just starting out with a 3D printing pen(learn more visit here), it's essential to begin with simple projects to get comfortable with the device and its capabilities. Here are some easy and fun ideas:
Basic Shapes: Start by practicing drawing simple shapes like squares, circles, triangles, and rectangles. This will help you get used to controlling the flow of plastic and creating even lines.
2D to 3D: Begin by tracing over 2D shapes or drawings on paper, then lifting the pen off the page to add height and depth, turning your flat images into 3D sculptures.
Doodles and Sketches: Use the 3D printing pen to doodle and sketch in three dimensions. You can draw anything from simple patterns and designs to more complex objects like flowers, animals, or cartoon characters.
Personalized Keychains: Create personalized keychains by drawing initials, names, or simple shapes. You can add extra details like hearts, stars, or smiley faces to customize them further.
Miniature Sculptures: Sculpt miniature sculptures of objects like fruits, vehicles, or buildings. Start with simple shapes and gradually add details as you become more comfortable with the pen.
Jewelry and Accessories: Make jewelry and accessories like bracelets, earrings, or pendants. Experiment with different shapes, patterns, and colors to create unique pieces.
Decorative Objects: Use the 3D printing pen to create decorative objects like vases, candle holders, or picture frames. You can experiment with different textures and designs to add visual interest.
3D Stencils: Create 3D stencils by drawing outlines of shapes or letters on a flat surface, then filling them in with the 3D pen. This is a great way to practice precision and control.
Educational Models: Build simple educational models like geometric shapes, molecules, or the solar system. These projects can be both fun and educational for beginners.
Repair and Reinforcement: Use the 3D printing pen to repair or reinforce broken objects like toys, phone cases, or glasses frames. You can reinforce weak spots or add extra support to prevent further damage.
Experiment with Layering and Textures: Experiment with layering different colors and textures to create interesting effects. You can create gradients, patterns, or even simulate the look of wood or metal.
Remember to always start with slow speeds and low temperatures until you get comfortable handling the pen and manipulating the filament. As you gain confidence and skill, you can progress to more intricate and complex projects. With time and practice, you'll become more comfortable and confident in your abilities with the 3D printing pen(learn more visit here).

This year my fiance and I went with a classic movie... Steven Spielberg's 1982 movie E.T. Unfortunately many people didn't make the connection that my fiance was Elliott but they knew who I was! I did consider him being Elliott and me being Gertie and having a milk crate attached to the front of him with a homemade ET sitting in it but I really wanted to dress as E.T. and he thought it'd be weird if I was the sister Gertie. How we did it Elliott Costume: Sweatshirt: Red hooded sweatshirt (FREE! Left over from last year's costume). Pants: Blue jeans (FREE! Already owned them.) Candy: A large bag of Reese's Pieces ($3 on sale at CVS Pharmacy) E.T. Costume: Head: Foam board ($1 from Dollar Tree). I then used this Flickr member's photo enlarged and printed to a 2 by 1 page (8.5" x 11" paper) to use as a template because they did such an awesome job! I used it as a stencil to trace out the shape of the face and cut it. I cut out holes in the foamboard for me to see through with a knife (approximately where the nose ended up being). I then drew out the features onto the cut foam board. Using a bucket of Crayola Air Drying Clay ($4.96 from Walmart) I molded on raised brows, eyelids, and wrinkles to enhance the features. Unfortunately pretty much all of the clay cracked and was popping off the foam board when it dried so I had to touch up and reinforce everything with hot glue afterwards. I covered the eye holes with white mesh non-slip drawer lining (FREE! Left over from last year's costume making) on the backside by affixing it with tape. I then painted the whole frontside with acrylic paint (FREE paint! I already owned it). After it dried I attached a thick piece of elastic band ($1.44 at Walmart) as a strap with hot glue. Body: I lucked out! The body primarily consisted of a brown hooded cloak that came from a Monk halloween costume. I originally intended on using a brown hoodie/turtleneck and brown pants with a long brown shirt/nightgown on top but this turned out to be the cheapest and most effective option ($2.49 on clearance at Walmart). I still wore brown pants and a brown tanktop underneath that I already owned. The light-up heart was a heart shaped tap-light ($1 at Dollar Tree) that I hotglued red felt (29 cents at A.C. Moore) to the front to give it a red glow. I drilled a hole in the top of it and threaded a string through it to make a necklace to hang underneath the cloak to create the glowing chest effect. I used some sticky-back velcro ($6.47 at Walmart) to attach the hood to the mask when walking around and to close up the neck of the monk cloak more. Hands: Brown work gloves ($1 at Dollar Tree) with a small piece of red felt (29 cents at A.C. Moore) hot glued to the inside tip of one of the index fingers. I then purchased a Energizer Aluminum Pen LED Flashlight ($8.88 on Amazon.com) that I held inside the glove so I could click it on and off to have a light up finger. Feet: I wore brown sneakers (FREE! Already owned them) and created "3 toe shoe covers" from a brown t-shirt ($5 on sale at A.C. Moore) that I thought I was going to use to make a 3D body until I got the monk cloak. I traced out a widened outline of my shoes on the shirt and drew out 3 pointed toes. I cut it out and sewed the outter toe edges. I then stuffed the toes with Polyfil (FREE! Left over from a prior year). I attached a thick piece of elastic band ($1.44 at Walmart) as a strap with hot glue so I could slip the front end of my sneaker into the toe portion and have the elastic strap go around the heel of my sneaker to hold my 3-toed feet on. Total Cost of both costumes together: $35.53 [$3 for Elliott, $32.53 for E.T.]

What are the Different Nail Art Tools and How They are Useful?
There are various nail art tools available that can help you create stunning designs and achieve professional-looking manicures. Here are some different nail art tools and how they are useful:
Nail Brushes: Nail art brushes come in different sizes and shapes, such as detail brushes, liner brushes, and flat brushes. They are used for creating intricate designs, lines, and patterns on the nails. The fine bristles allow for the precise application of polish, gel, or acrylic paints.
Dotting Tools: Dotting tools have rounded tips in various sizes, enabling you to create dots of different diameters on your nails. They are great for making polka dots, and floral patterns, and adding small details to your nail art.
Nail Stamping Kit: Nail stamping kits include stamping plates, a stamper, and a scraper. Stamping plates have etched designs that you transfer onto your nails using a stamping technique. They allow you to achieve intricate patterns, images, and even 3D effects with ease.
Tumblr media
Striping Tape: Striping tape is a thin, adhesive tape that comes in different colors and metallic finishes. It is used to create clean, straight lines, geometric patterns, and negative space designs on the nails. You can place the tape on the nail surface and paint over it before removing it to reveal the design.
Nail Stencils: Nail stencils are pre-cut templates made of vinyl or paper. They come in various shapes and designs, such as stars, hearts, chevrons, and more. Stencils are applied to the nails, and you can paint over them or sponge on the polish to create intricate designs easily.
Nail Studs and Rhinestones: These are small decorative elements made of metal or plastic. Nail studs and rhinestones add sparkle and dimension to your nails. They can be applied using tweezers or a dotting tool and can be arranged in patterns or used as accents.
Nail Files and Buffers: Nail files and buffers are essential tools for shaping and smoothing nails. Files help in achieving the desired nail shape, while buffers are used to smoothen the nail surface, remove ridges, and create a polished look.
Nail Polish Corrector Pen: Nail polish corrector pens have a fine-tipped applicator filled with nail polish remover. They are used to clean up any mistakes or smudges around the nails and achieve a neat and professional finish.
Each tool serves a specific purpose and can help you create a wide range of nail art designs, from simple to intricate. Experimenting with these tools allows you to unleash your creativity and achieve unique and personalized nail art looks.

Having played with freehand writing with a calligraphy pen, as well as freehand painting calligraphy style text within my paintings, I wanted to explore whether there was a stencil option out there for some more interesting fonts that still have that gothic style I was after.
My reasoning for this was that I had found it difficult to get my fonts even, and particularly when painting large words over a 20+ hour oil painting, it can really make or break it. (Refer to my pomegranate painting ‘Low-Hanging Fruit’)
I looked in Eckersley's and Art Shed and was only able to find classic Helvetica font styles. Raising this problem with a friend they informed me about the 3D printing and laser cutting available at J block and encouraged me to make my own.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first draft I had offered the machine was taken from an image, and not anywhere near high enough quality. The program outlined around the pixels and said it was going to take 2+ hours to complete the 26 letters and 10 numbers.
I did a trial on just the A and I loved the look of how jagged and simultaneously dainty it was at the same time- fitting with the gothic aesthetic I had in mind. However I was not willing to wait so long after having already spent hours in there making sure all the letters were floodable and would print in one piece.
Having never used this printing program, J block staff helped me to bubble the letters out a bit- rounding out the edges and lowering the print time.
Tumblr media
It was this ONE PIECE part that I had really not thought through. In traditional stencils you need to have supports so that all the parts of a letter will stick together- otherwise you will end up with just the outline of say- an O, or a D.
I did not like the idea of how this might look, and it was suggested to me that this could still be printed- but as a REVERSE stencil. I could lay the letters down and spray paint over them or draw around them- leaving the letter area blank but equally as decipherable.
Tumblr media
This was not what I was looking to create but I wanted to follow the concept through and ride the waves of things not going according to plan. This is something that studio lecturers are always repeating- that mistakes can and usually should become happy accidents.
I printed the ‘reverse stencil’ and put backing on it so that I now keep all the parts in their little holes like a puzzle, making it reusable. This was another factor to why I opted for acrylic over card.

Nail Designs
Nail designs refer to the creative and artistic ways of decorating and embellishing fingernails and toenails using different materials, techniques, and colors. These designs can range from simple patterns and colors to more intricate designs such as nail art, 3D designs, and textures. Nail designs can be created using various tools, including brushes, sponges, stencils, and nail art pens, and can be customized to match individual preferences, occasions, or fashion trends.
Tumblr media
Nail tips: are plastic or acrylic extensions that are glued to the natural nails to add length and shape. They are usually used in manicures and can be customized to fit the individual's natural nail shape and size. Nail tips are available in different lengths, shapes, and colors, and can be decorated with nail polish, gel, or acrylics. To apply nail tips, the natural nails are first cleaned and prepped, and then the tips are glued on top of the nails. The tips are then filed and shaped to match the natural nails, and the nails can be further decorated with nail polish or other nail art techniques. It is important to take proper care of the nail tips to avoid damaging the natural nails.
Nail colours: are the various shades and hues of polish that are applied to fingernails and toenails for decorative purposes. They come in a wide range of colors, including neutral, pastel, bold, metallic, and glittery shades. Nail colors can be used to express individual style, match outfits, and reflect the season or occasion. Some popular nail color trends include classic red, nude, and French tip, while other trends include ombre, neon, and matte finish. Nail colors are available in various forms, including traditional nail polish, gel polish, and dip powder, and can be easily applied at home or in a salon. It is important to use a base coat and top coat to protect and enhance the nail color's longevity.
For beginners, simple and easy nail designs are a good place to start. Here are some ideas:
French manicure with a twist: Instead of the classic white tips, try a different color or a glittery finish.
Polka dots: Use a dotting tool or toothpick to create cute polka dot designs on your nails.
Stripes: Use striping tape to create straight lines and create a cool striped design.
Ombré nails: Use a makeup sponge to blend two or more colors together for a pretty gradient effect.
Glitter accent nail: Apply a coat of glitter polish on one nail to create an accent nail that pops.
Floral designs: Use a fine brush to create simple flower designs on your nails.
Remember, practice makes perfect, so keep experimenting with different designs and have fun!

Placed the flowing lines onto the spray can in different angles and changed the colours of the lines by added effected like multi, light and screen.I placed the circles and splash design on the spray can to see how it will look. I experimented with effects like multi, dark and lunar burn. Also looked at the logo colours as I was placing the design most it is black and white later on I deiced to have a gradient of gold.
Developed more of the kit by adding colours on the background and seeing the contrast in each other. The white one is more effective than the coloured one because it is showing the colours design. I made a 3D of the box open and close on sketchup and experimenting with the design on top of the box.
