Day 8: Most overrated book. I picked up The Girls by Emma Cline last year when it came out because it was hyped and it takes place in the '60s in California and that was all I knew going into it. Well this is the only book I have ever give a 1 star to. I just didn't like the story and did not connect with the characters. But it is definitely a loved story by many others, I just personally didn't enjoy it.
