Life from a New Perspective
Pairing: Edmund Pevensie x Fem!reader
Characters: Peter Pevensie, Susan Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie, Fem!reader, Reepicheep, Oreius
Warnings: Fluff, fighting, Narnia in another battle, this came out of nowhere, I don't know where this was really going but I went with it, stupid backstory for the storyline to make sense, Edmund needed to meet his match, this is oddly cute, I thought this was going to be cringey but I proved myself wrong lol, the title is 100% based on P!ATD song
Word Count: 784
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You stop, breathing hard with the prickling sensation of the people chasing you are getting closer. You spin around and see a familiar-
You furrow your brows, fighting stance barely weakening. "Reepicheep?
The brave mouse lowers his sword and calls out your name. "I thought you died?"
"When has anything ever taken me down?"
He nods, "I knew I chose you for a reason."
"You did no such thing."
"Uh- sorry but you two know each other?" You turn to the dark-haired man.
Your eye twitches. "Royalty?"
"He is the second king of old."
"The young man?"
"I prefer to be called by my name."
You close your eyes, not wanting to shout at someone with royal status. "What's your name?"
He furrows his brows, confused about how much yet so little you know about him. "You don't know?"
"I prefer not going into town."
He raises a brow, “that’s not concerning to hear.”
“People don’t like me.”
“I wonder why," he mumbles, not meaning for you to hear.
You scoff, “until next time, Reepicheep.” You jump over a log and tale off.
“Now, look what you’ve done,” says the mouse.
“Me? If anything, it was you.”
“I did nothing to run her off. I’m the reason she stayed but then you opened your big mouth.”
Edmund rolls his eyes, “whatever, let’s go.”
They take off, meeting with his siblings and a few of their warriors.
-
“What are we going to do now?” Susan asks.
“We can go to the river and see who will be willing to fight from there?” Peter offers, not entirely sure where else they can go to find more Narnians.
“We would have had a good swordsman had you not talked,” Reepicheep grumbles.
“What’d you say?” Lucy turns to him.
“His majesty ran off our only hope.”
“What’s he talking about?” Peter turns to Edmund and then the mouse. “What are you talking about?”
“The sarcastic decided to open his mouth and run off my apprentice.”
“Apprentice?” Lucy chimes in. “When did you have an apprentice?”
“Well-”
A group of bandits come up from behind the trees.
“Where did your apprentice go?” Peter shouts, kicking the bandit back.
“How am I supposed to-”
You jump the tree branch you were perched on and swing across the way, kicking the one sneaking up behind Edmund.
“There she is.”
You duck just in time, giving the mouse a bridge to climb and attack. “Looks like we meet again,” you nod to the third eldest Pevensie.
“Looks like we do.”
“Let’s see if you fight as good as you talk,” the corner of your lips twitch.
“Believe me, I’m good with a sword.”
“Care to make a wager?”
“Like?”
“If we make it out of here alive, we spar together?”
“You’ll lose.”
You shrug, “I’ve always wanted to be defeated by a king,” you wink and run to help Lucy.
“Look who’s decided to come out of the woodworks,” Oreius says.
“Guess who’s still in the woods,” you respond.
“You’re still not funny.”
“I disagree. I’m hilarious.”
“I think Edmund’s found his match,” Lucy whispers to his siblings.
“Were they flirting while we were fighting?” Peter asks, still baffled about it.
“They were,” Susan pats his arm. “Is everyone alright?”
“Well, if everyone’s fine. I’ll be off now,” you try to sneak away when your favorite mouse stops you.
“Hold on there.” He stands upon a rock. “You’re not leaving so fast. I haven’t seen you since that idiot got thrown out of town.”
“What?”
“Yeah, after you left, we found him stealing from everyone and threw him out.”
“No one believed me.”
“I did, that’s why he's gone.”
You smirk, “I knew there was a reason we met.”
That certainly quiets him down. “I believe there is someone else for you to meet.”
“I don’t like what you’re implying.”
He shrugs, giving the young king enough time to walk up to you. “You fought well.”
You slowly turn, “I didn’t need to save you nearly as times as I thought.”
“I didn’t need saving.”
“That’s what you say but who was the one to take down the bandit sneaking up behind you.”
“I had it handled.”
A smile dances across your lips, “I know. I just wanted to mess with you.”
He stares at the ground, trying to ignore the heat in his cheeks. “I- that was uncalled for.”
“Someone’s got to keep you on your toes.” You skip over to the other siblings and introduce yourself, throwing them off; on one hand, you can be deadly and fight and on the other, you can be as sweet as can be.
It intrigued Edmund a little too much for his comfort.

I could feel the music pulsing through my veins. My boyfriend Kirk and I were at a party. It was his idea to come, but now that we are here, he has been quiet and sulking on a couch. Because I was here, I wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity for a good time.
I was dancing with Lars, who also happens to be one of my best friends. We were laughing and having a good time. Everything is completely platonic between us.
I was laughing, and enjoying myself when a firm hand gripped my wrist. I turned to see Kirk, who uncharacteristically looked pissed.
“What’s wrong?” I asked him, feeling a bit worried.
“We’re leaving.” Was all he said before he turned dragging me away from the dance floor. I turned, giving Lars a confused look. He just shrugged and waved.
“Hey, you can stop dragging me, I can walk myself.” I said. Kirk ignored me and opened the passenger door. I slipped in and he slammed it. “What is your problem?” I asked as he slid into the driver's seat. He glanced over at me with a glare.
“We go to a party together, and you spend the whole time dancing with another guy.” He said, his tone was low and cold.
“Yeah, because the second we got there you sat down. It wasn’t just some guy though, it was Lars. He’s harmless.” I argued.
“So you didn’t even try to ask me to dance or see what was going on with me?” Kirk asked, his voice starting to raise.
“I’m not a goddamn mind reader, you were the one who wanted to go to the party, bud, I don’t know what you want me to say.” I said getting frustrated.
“Bud?” He questioned. I folded my arms looking out the window. “Get out, we’re going back in.” He snapped.
“What?” I asked, feeling confused.
“Out.” He reached over to open my door. Confused, I got out and closed the door. He came around grabbing my wrist again.
“”Where are we going?” I asked, following behind him as best I could. He didn’t answer. We got back to the party, he pushed past a bunch of people and entered the bathroom.
Kirk locked the door, then turned to me, there was a fire in his eyes.
“Face the mirror.” He commanded. I did as he said and faced the mirror. He maintained eye contact through the mirror as he came up behind me. He flipped my skirt up and pulled my panties down. My eyes widened.
“What are you-“ I started.
“Am I your bud? When I make you come so hard you’re seeing stars? Hmm?” He asked.
“No.” I said softly.
“What was that?” He asked cupping his ear with one hand as the other snaked around and started rubbing my clit.
“N-no.” I stuttered but it was louder. Kirk continued rubbing my clit as he spread my legs. He started rubbing me faster bringing on a quick orgasm. Just as I was about to come, he stopped. I whined rubbing my back against him.
“You come when I let you.” He whispered in my ear. I nodded. Kirk dropped his pants and he entered me from behind me, stretching me out. He pulled his hips back and snapped them back hard, I let out a small scream. His pace was hard and fast.
“Oh fuck. Kirk.” I moaned out and closed my eyes.
“Open your eyes. Look in the mirror. Who makes you feel this good?” He said. I opened my eyes and met his eyes in the reflection.
“You do. Only you.” I moaned. He reached around and started rubbing my clit again. I could feel the orgasm bubbling beneath the surface.
“Please.” I said.
“Please what?” He asked continuing to rut into me.
“Please let me come.” I begged. He added more pressure on my clit. I screamed as I came. His hips didn’t stop. I leaned against the sink and he came filling me up. He leaned his forehead against my shoulder.
“Sorry, I wasn’t in a good mood tonight. Please never call me bud again.” He whispered.
“I won’t. I’m sorry you were having a bad night and I just left you to sit around.” I said reaching back to rub his side.
He pulled out and pulled his pants up. He pulled my panties up and helped me get presentable. He turned around and kissed me softly.
“Wanna go home and fuck some more?” I offered with puppy eyes. Kirk nodded with a chuckle.
“Sounds like a plan, babe.” He kissed my forehead and wrapped an arm around me as we exited the party.

||Feeling The Blues.||
Summary; Kano has undiagnosed depression and horse!!!!! Horpe!!!!!!!! :333
A/N; obsessed with these two 🤞🏼😍 + Laser Lasso is their ship name :P
Word count; 784.

Kano sighed as he laid in bed, staring at his laptop screen as it played random fail clips. He sighed, thinking of moving but his body wouldn’t listen so he stayed in the same position, staring blankly at the screen, exhausted and bored.
He couldn’t remember the last time he took care of himself. The last time he showered or brushed his teeth was probably a few days ago if he had any guess. He’d just been buried under his covers, half his face shoved into his pillow as he was too tired to flip himself over and even more so to get up. He probably couldn’t even sit up, just shift his feet a bit to find an even slightly more comfortable position.
Most of him had probably gone numb though he didn’t have it in him to test it. Probably the lack of actual nutrition. He remembered eating, what? A sandwich and a lunchable or two yesterday and, like, 4-5 Coca Cola’s, he didn’t keep track.
He probably smelt like absolute shit, but nobody was around to prove or deny the claim.
Suddenly, the door burst open and Erron’s Outworld horse, Kirali, poked her head in. She had a pretty pink bow on her main, keeping a small bundle of her already short mane in a little ponytail. She looked around, seeing the screen and the lump under the covers and strolling into the dark room cautiously, stopping and standing over the bed. She let out an equestrian huff and nudged Kano with her snout.
She looked to the screen and saw Kano’s face, illuminated by the device. She nudged the laptop, letting out a small neigh. He sighed. “What?” He spoke in a hoarse and unused voice.
Kirali dragged a hoof down the bed.
“No, no, Kirali. No play.” Kano replied.
Kirali huffed and stomped her foot, dragging her hoof down the bed again as a demand for playtime. “Kirali–” She neighed, shaking her head as a way to say she wasn’t taking no for an answer. Kano sat up and paused the video, sliding to the edge of the bed and sitting there with his sore muscles. Kirali nudged her snout against him, neighing happily. Kano rubbed her snout.
Kirali walked out of the room and returned with a plastic ball the size of a basketball, rolling it inside with her hoof and nudging the door mostly closed. She rolled it to Kano’s feet, allowing them to play while not having to force his muscles to work after so long not being used. Kano picked up the ball and gently threw it, making Kirali quickly chase it and roll it over with her snout, stomping her feet happily.
Kano chuckled, “I know, you're happy to play.”
Later, Erron entered the room. “Kano–” He stopped when he saw Kirali laying on the ground, a new pink bow in her tail as she rolled a ball around with her snout.
“Never took you for an equestrian lover, Kano.” Erron said, looking to the Australian.
“Eh, she got me out of bed just to play.” He sighed, stroking her head, making her let out a content huff. Erron walked over, “You look like what I assume a zombie would look like before it starts rotting. What happened? You don’t normally look like the Grim Reaper forgot to pick you up.” He asked, concerned. “Just the blues, y’know?” “The blues? Looks more like depression to me. When was the last time you, uh..felt energized? Or ate something that is good for the body?” The cowboy responded, waving his hand.
“Fuck if I know..” Kano looked off awkwardly.
“I don’t mean fruits and veggies, just, like..some Burger King? Like two burgers, fries, soda. That’s good enough; fills you up.” Erron said.
Kano shook his head.
“Even worse, big guy.” Erron sighed, brushing a hand through his hair. “Listen, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. We all have days or weeks or months where we just wanna rot away in bed but I can’t let you do that to yourself, baby.” He took Kano’s hand but quickly retracted it, surprised. “You’re actually warm for once. That’s weird..” He noted.
Kano chuckled, “I know, I know. Been burrowed in my blanket for God knows how long.” He retorted.
“Okay,” Erron said as he took Kano’s hand, stroking the tan and calloused skin. “Well, let’s go take a bath then we can eat.” “Can she eat with us?” Kano looked up at him with puppy-dog eyes.
Erron sighed, “Yes, Kirali can eat with us.”
Kirali let out a happy neigh and Kano cheered. “You pair of dorks.” Erron shook his head, smiling lovingly under his mask.

Patti Lupone and Company perform “Anything Goes” at the 1988 Tony Awards
Anything Goes is a musical with music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The original book was a collaborative effort by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse, revised considerably by the team of Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. The story concerns madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy Number 13, "Moonface" Martin, aid Billy in his quest to win Hope. Songs introduced that later became pop and jazz standards are "Anything Goes", "You're the Top", "All Through the Night", and "I Get a Kick Out of You".
For the 1987 Broadway revival, John Weidman and Timothy Crouse (Russel's son) updated the book and re-ordered the musical numbers, using Cole Porter songs from other Porter shows, a practice which the composer often engaged in. This revival opened at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, in Lincoln Center, on October 19, 1987, and ran for 784 performances. Directed by Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Michael Smuin, it starred Patti LuPone as Reno Sweeney, Howard McGillin as Billy, Bill McCutcheon as Moonface, and Anthony Heald as Lord Evelyn. It was nominated for ten Tony Awards (including nominations for McGillin, LuPone, McCutcheon, and Heald), winning for Best Revival of a Musical, Best Featured Actor (McCutcheon), and Best Choreography. The production also won the Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Revival of a Musical and Outstanding Actress (for LuPone).
