Presenting a beautiful scene of a lil stream and Long’s Peak last spring. Unfortunately taken on the world’s softest lens and then I cropped heavily because I’m an amateur and this was the first picture I ever took with a real camera (aside from a few quick test snaps of nothing in my apartment to make sure things were working). Thank you for coming to my TED Talk

Fuji X-T3, 7artisans 25mm f/1.8
[EN] A wedding photo taken in the hallway of the municipal office, just outside the civil registry office. The photo was shot directly in JPEG. The 7artisans 25mm f/1.8 is a manual lens. And yes, I know—the frame tilts a bit to the left. But still, it's an interesting piece. Thank you for your attention.
[PL] Zdjęcie ślubne na korytarzu w urzędzie gminy. Przed urzędem stanu cywilnego. Zdjęcie zrobione od razu w jpeg. 7artisans 25mm f/1.8 jest obiektywem manualnym. I tak, wiem. Leci trochę kadr na lewo. No ale jest to też niezła ciekawostka. Dziękuję za uwagę.

This has been my regular set up this summer. The Olympus E-M10 mark 4 and the dirt cheap 7artisans 25mm f/1,8. And a simple paracord strap.
While the camera is fairly new, I suspect any mark of the 10 would do, as it's only used in manual focus.
The strap costs pennies, but when perfectly adjusted works great, and takes nearly all the weight of the camera. Can carry it for hours.

TTArtisan 25mm f2

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF6

Nordic Bliss - Scandinavian Themed Fujifilm Simulation Recipe
Nordic Style and Scandinavian Themed Recipe for Fujifilm X-Trans IV Cameras
Mood: Nordic, Gloomy, Cold, Warm, Bliss
This minimalist/travel recipe which is called Nordic Bliss is created after some brainstorming and extensive fine-tuning of the custom settings. The name of this recipe is based on a Nordic / Scandinavian theme. I know it is impossible for me to shoot in European countries as I'm in a South-East Asia country, so all sample images are shot in a Scandevanian-themed location to suit the mood of this recipe, therefore this is still an experimental recipe.
What Is Nordic Bliss Recipe All About?
Nordic Bliss has no characteristics of a 35mm film look or mimics any film stocks but it's more theme based. It is suitable for travel, creative, minimalist interior shots and also for shooting landscapes. Feel free to try out the Nordic Bliss recipe if you're in cold countries. Created using the Classic Chrome film simulation, you might find something special about this recipe's characteristics, warm inside and cold outside, which is a cold tone when shooting outdoors and a warm tone when shooting indoors. Nordic Bliss is also great for Fuji shooters who are into minimalist photography give this recipe a try! There is no restriction to shoot Nordic style only but can be used to shoot anything. The Daylight white balance is set with a blend of White Balance Shifts to somewhere off the neutral tone. Film grain has been turned off for this recipe to maintain the image quality. If you noticed, there are two versions of Nordic Bliss, one for muted and another version that changes according to lighting conditions to warm or cold (hopefully it works lol). If you happened to test and shoot with the Nordic Bliss recipe, feel free to share or tagged your images with me on Facebook or Instagram. You will have the chance of having your photos get featured in this post. For this recipe, I might be using some images that have already been used for other recipes. If you are looking for more Fujifilm recipes for travel, you can check out the Nomadic Mood, This recipe is created for the Fujifilm X-Trans IV sensor cameras including the X100V, X-T4, X-T30II, X-E4, X-S10 and X-Pro3. Happy shooting.

Seoul Lesson
A couple weeks ago I sat in South Korea, after a 14 hour day of travel, on a rusty folding chair in the abandoned lobby of a dirty 1 star hostel. In just 36 hours I would be going on stage, following 2 prestigious Korean designers, to give a 20 minute talk to 140 designers about the future of AI and service design. I was exhausted and starving. My body was inflated and numb from adrenaline; adrenaline induced by the heavy, captivating dread of not having my mind clear, not having my script complete, not having my slides even started, not having anything rehearsed. And I was locked outside my dark, dirty, 1 star hostel room.
In Korea I felt like a stray dog. Hungry, empty, wandering the streets, without anyone who might help me or care about me. Full of fatigue my eyes searched for signs of love. But all they landed on was clean facades, loud advertisements, and occasionally the eyes of others that passed over me like luke warm water. I barely caught the very last subway lines from Incheon airport Seocho station. At different stations, I saw men alone who were so drunk they could barely move try and make it to the train, only to be left behind in the gaze of the passengers, who would then be kicked out of the station to spend the night on the street. Every day throughout Gangnam I saw people with bruised faces, bandages, and nose splints recovering from plastic surgery.
Elderly Koreans lived in elivingtel with me. I believe it was $300/month. They too didn't have anyone. One of them was an employee, and gave me my bedding when I moved in. She told me to use a hand towel as my pillow case. They never spoke. Besides the event, to me the best part of Seoul was the emotional safety I felt in CoEx mall, which was the only place I wanted to visit and went almost every day, and buddhist monastery across the street. I decided in Gangnam that I don't want to be poor anymore. I want to protect myself from such a ruthless space.
My relationship with money has been the most emotional it has ever been. I woke up from a dream this morning where I was crying and crying and crying and screaming about money. A deep emotion of sadness –the kind that fills your body, pure and poignant, and makes you shake with tears– cracked open wider and wider like an egg, releasing waves that flooded my sleeping mind with the signals of love, freedom, and fortune being lost. My whole conscious was struck like a large church bell, that sent echos of heartfull sorrow ringing throughout my body.
The first 100k is the hardest. Maybe I'll be able to get there entrepreneurially. Here I sit in Berlin, filling my time with podcasts about lead gen, cold outreach, sales, product market fit. I spent $2300 on the flight and airbnb for the month, to go to the Service Design Global Conference 23. I spend this money to see friends. I'm ok with that. I have no other options.

Fujifilm X-T3, 7Artisans 25mm 1.8
[EN] Tracks with flowers on them. Shot with the X-T3, so it's a JPEG straight from the camera. I used a small and charming manual Chinese 7Artisans lens. Using it is quite enjoyable. Manual focusing can be appreciated, though it's definitely more demanding than modern advanced AF systems. This was an excursion into the unknown, into a place that's on the map, but seemingly just for formality's sake. I've visited quite a few such places, where there used to be something, and today, it's hard to find any traces of it.
A tu wycieczka w nieznane.
