New Gits footage obtained about 6 months ago. This is from March 26, 1993 at Club Pompeii in Spokane, WA - just over the mountains and through the woods😂😂! I engaged in a conversation last night on my friend @kristakayphoto IG page. It reminded me of the last show I saw them play, which was Portland about 10 days before her death. Mia wrote these lyrics in honor of Stefani Sargent from 7 Year Bitch who had died in June 1992. No, Sargent did not die from a drug overdose (read her Wiki). Anyway, the song is “Seaweed”. ——————————————————— - PLEASE REFRAIN ON COMMENTING ON MIA’s DEATH. I will remove those posts. Two reasons, 1 because Mia should ALWAYS be remembered for her incredible lyrics and vocal legacies. And 2, there are a few of Mia’s close friends that follow my page. One being Steve Moriarty (check out his new band Wolves in Argyle”). Mia’s passing is still difficult and I want people to come to my page to enjoy and honor - the living and the dearly departed - like Mia. Never about how she/they passed.
