The 2022 Seattle Layne Staley Tribute is about a week away and here is the official poster for the event released over at least a month ago. LAYNE STALEY TRIBUTE 2022 consists of two shows , Unplugged Night ( 21+ only ) on Friday , August 19th at MADAME LOU's ( at the Crocodile ) and the main event on Saturday , August 20th ( All - ages ) in the main showroom at The Crocodile.

Here’s the progress I made today redoing a thrift store trunk. I purchased this spur of the moment last week when I was browsing at a thrift store. The dims are 14x10x14”. • I dubbed this the “Demri paper-dolls”. The edges and creases I applied French script specialty paper. I finished the top and the front section of the lid. Photos 1 & 2 are of what I did today; Photo 3 is a before pic. I made this box for someone who started out being someone who could help me with the communication with potential buyers and various other tasks. Layne & Demri from 1992. This graphics edit is one that I did so I could use on a memory box I’m currently working on. • • The colors are exactly what I needed and luckily it’ll go with just about anything. I’ve also been teaching myself on Procreate, which is a digital art platform that I can use in my iPhone and iPad. I used Procreate on the texturing aspect. The wonderful thing about the Procreate application is that I’ll be able to use it to FINALLY finish a Layne piece I started 5 years ago. It was for what would’ve been his 50th b-day. • • @demri_lara_parrott is helping share the Layne/Demri boxes throughout the process. Another fun pic had to share ; July 18, 1992 backstage at the Shoreline Amphitheater during Lollapalooza. Pearl Jam & Soundgarden congregate and Dave gets a little frisky with Stoney! Temple of the Dog also performed as a band on this day too. I’m working on another new Demri Box. This is just a sneak peek. This box is completely different. It’s heavy, and looks a lot like pallets. However, there’s a lot of work to be done still. But the images give you an idea of my mindset. I love fairies and this one will have that, plus the vintage look we love, Demri loved.
