Mahri with her new sunny beach clothes. Her cousin Justin’s aesthetic is early 90′s I thought it’d be fun to draw Mahri’s clothes from around that era. His normal outfit is PNW beach clothes (for most of the year lmao) but he does have a tacky warm weather beach outfit, too. Mahri always wears a choker and I couldn’t think of what I wanted her to wear so I gave her a slap bracelet as one since she’d totally do something stupid like that as a fashion accessory. From what I remember the summer look anywhere was the SoCal look, but up here in Washington State a lot of us were wearing grunge clothes. (yeah, I’m that old). My favorite thing we’d do back in the late 80′s/early 90′s was crimp our hair. Some people would do the huge bangs thing.
