🌼💫 Daffodil Fields soap set 💫🌼
LOVE this! The soaps themselves are rather bland and don’t have any cool designs or packaging, but the ribbon is so cute and the tag is very late 90s. I would definitely buy this if it wasn’t outrageously priced ($75) 😵💫

Stila single eyeshadows from the late 90s to early 00s. The top shade, Kalo, had been depotted, but I think it was a pale, gold-green shade? The bottom doesn’t have a label, so it was an empty pan -- I remember the empty pans being sold at Sephora at one point, shadows separately I guess so the pans could be reused -- so this teal shade shade is a mystery. These were so buzzed-about in magazines in the days before YouTube beauty influencers. They always came with a quote underneath the cap. The shadows themselves were good, quite sheer, like a wash of color. Other shades I remember owning: Puck, really pretty satin taupe with some shimmer (this is still one of my all-time favorite shadows), Golightly, gold-bronze, and Kitten, champagne shimmer. Stil still makes Kitten in a single pan, but I think it’s marketed as an all-over shimmer/highlighter these days.
When I replaced all my makeup after two years of not wearing much (not the “vintage” stuff that I keep for reference but wouldn’t wear because I’m not that gross), I was surprised how everything is all palettes, palettes, palettes. No one except professional makeup artists were using palettes twenty years ago, but we weren’t doing really elaborate eye looks, just one of two shades usually with some shimmer. And oh god, the highlighted brow bone so reflective you could see yourself in it.

The current pfp. Honestly as much as I love the millennium era bright colors, this 90s all natural look is so soothing.
