Shinsou gives him a mock salute. “Have fun.”

Izuku can't help but crack a tremulous smile at that, but it brings another thought to the forefront of his mind. He pauses, then takes a deep breath and says in a rush, “I'm really glad you're here, Shinsou.”

Shinsou must see how Izuku's eyes are misting up, because he abruptly leans away and makes an X in front of himself with his arms, as if he can ward off the emotions coming his way. “Nope, no way, cut that shit out right now. You're not allowed to get mushy on me before you're about to be medically knocked unconscious!” he protests.

With a laugh stilted by the pain he's still in, Izuku somehow finds the energy to push a few more heartfelt words out. “It means so much to me that I have all of you guys to support me and that I wasn't alone during this. You're the best friends I could've asked for.”

“Agh!" Shinsou groans dramatically, as if in agony himself. “Go get your weird extra organ cut out already! Doc, knock him out!”

Mob watched, overwhelmed with just how much there was, as he held in his trembling hands the two fishing rods Reigen had brought. The dock quietly rocked and shifted underneath his feet with each wave from the lake that lapped against it.

“Uhm, Master?” Mob dared to ask, breaking the silence, as Reigen held a hook that had a small rubber fish affixed to it up in front of his face and squinted at it weirdly aggressively, “Why- What are we here for again?” "

Reigen and Mob get hired to take care of a fish spirit in a lake, and they go fishing for it, and there's nothing much more to this oneshot than that.

That's another thing Yoichi doesn't like to dwell on much. His brother certainly has the quirk to become a villain, and there was a tense, frightening period of time in which Yoichi had thought he was watching his brother descend into that type of madness, dragged down into the depths by the hunger of his own power.

But then Hisashi met Inko.

After that, the dominos fell, one by one until all too quickly it led to Yoichi being here, standing in the middle of his apartment with a baby in his arms, with absolutely no clue what to do.

He doesn't want to have to do this alone. He's so tired of having to push through pain alone. It's something he's been doing all his life, but can't he, just once, have someone to hold him up when he stumbles?
