It had been almost two weeks since their Big Sis finally reunited with the one partner she had hoped to see again. Even hearing second hand recounts from the Six Blades made Ashiya teared up, in all honesty. Theirs is a story of resilience that goes beyond a lot of things.

But now he's...genuinely curious. If Senketsu had begun as "scraps", or remnants of Life Fibers floating dormant in space, and the Original had been destroyed by their sister, how was it possible for him to have himself this full humanoid form?

That and a few more others going about in his head. Especially the thought of possibly trying to help Ryuko get back her regenerative ability too, possibly.

While Ashiya does a lot of his underground Life Fibers research in his attic lab (there's a pun here somewhere that he'd love to tell you but he likes to refrain himself when possible), his infirmary/study room is still an open space. Among the things on his desk sat a mortar with remnants of ground wildflowers in it; the mortar was also his alias namesake, "Yagen".

At my new job sometimes we get these email blasts from different departments saying ‘leftover food in such ‘n such room on # floor’ and all at once there’s a quiet rush from every corner of the building as the first people to open the email converge on the free food. Today I feel a little guilty because the loot drop was right outside my cube. There were only 6 leftover lunch boxes of vegetarian fajitas and now the latecomers are milling about in fajita-less confusion.

I always leave my boring scanning tasks for the last hour so I’m doing jack shit right before getting off. I mean just standing there scanning things in and then doing our paperwork and labeling shit.

Since I’ve been getting a lot in it takes time.

First I gotta scan the doc then code our system so the person who requested it knows we have it. Then I have to make a cover page…. I’m supposed to put them in the filing cabinet alphabetically but if I see someone left their stack out ngl I don’t bother. Bc what am I gonna put someone else’s and Mine away? Would be weird to only put mine away.

I’m torn about this, because while I agree we get nothing and it feels bad I also feel like the toxicity on X/reddit/the comment section in general has died down a bit too?

I have often gotten a bit more protective vibe tbh, like they’re not posting some things anymore to not give people space to shit on them. Like everytime we’d get a Mitch goofing around it would turn into a cesspool and now there’s just nothing.

Also, admins are people too. It’s sad for us, but I can understand the decision. I’m under the impression that at least 2 of the most recent social media people quit because it got too bad (one somewhat confirmed, one hearsay), so I kind of feel like I can’t blame them.

i didn't know that about the previous admins, but i still don't think the admins call the shots about what's specifically getting posted. like they probably come up with ideas and have to get them approved. but i think mlse has def cracked down on what it allows and maybe turnover in the socials department is a reason but idk. no fit pics or anything too this year like that's a corporate thing i think. it's all just so weird, idk the exact reasons, and some of the ???? vibes have absolutely nothing to do with the content we get... more abt the behavior of ppl i've watched for years now, lol. i do hope once whatever contract shit happens things just settle down in general from even the most hateful fans so we can live again bc it's not fun rn, lol. like they're still TRYING but everything they put out w the blueprints is so stripped of personality n whimsy and idk. this is mayhaps what i get for stanning a high valued corporate team fbskfndk
