Hi! i am SAM NICOLE P. NARISMA :) also known as MACY or just SAMMIE. i was born on May 28, 2003 and yes i am only 17 years old. I was born in Taguig City and grew up in our province which is Butuan City, Mindanao. I was only 5 months old when my mother left me to work abroad. She left me to my tita who takes me to our province with my other relatives and they took care of me. Living with my family in the province was one of the best memory i could have and being loved by my relatives was one of the best feeling ever. Since i lived with my couzins, we are very close to each other and we really love each other. I was affectionate back then but when i experienced something bad, I was really traumatized and from the day that happened, i stayed away from the people around me. I lost my self-esteem and confidence, But that doesn’t stop me from doing the things that i loved. I started to forgive but i never forget, i served that as my motivation. And now i am trying my best to be a better person not only in the present time, But also in the future. Do you also know that i am a “transfer suki” ?..... Yes, i came from many schools. Even if i entered in many schools and adjusting in every environment, i still managed to study well. 

Another info. about me is that i really love reading wattpad stories, I’m a fan since 2016. I also loved watching Action, RomCom, Sci-Fi movies or series specially Thai movies. I am a fan of Thai celebrities since i was only Grade 5. I also loved listening to different songs with different languages. I just loved vibing with it. I started dancing when i was only 6 years old up until now. Dancing is one of my passion because i am able to express my self and it really boost my confidence and self-esteem. I can also sing but i am not really good at it and i still consider it as one of my talents. I am aslo a minimalist. Since i am not really affectionate, i am not really a family-oriented. But right now, i am living with my father and my siblings. I am also a friendly person but knows about my limit. I also started to love dark or colorful things like Punk and Gothic. I love make ups, i love putting colors on my self and it really makes me feel so good because i think it brightens up my mood. I also love riding a bike and driving a motorcycle. I am also a night person and i really love a very calm place like beaches or my room. I don’t really like crowded places. I am an ambivert. I also love eating spicy foods and sea foods. I always dream of being a flight attendant or a chef because i really want to travel around the world and discover new many things. I love to hangout with my friends. I really love watching movies and having a foodtrip with my friends. Most of all, I can speak different languages, not a lot but just 5 languages. I love being stylish specially being an aesthetic or sometimes unique.

Yes i look “Mataray” because i have a thick eyebrows, i am not really a fan of smiling and i’m really sorry if i have this “MATARAY LOOK” but don’t worry i’m a nice and jolly person. I know myself but i’ll let those who knows me to describe me. Also, calling me “KULOT” doesn’t make me feel sad. I am proud of it :))

END RAPE CULTURE!

Rape Culture is an environment in which rape is prevalent and sexual violence against women is normalized and excused in the media and popular culture. Most women limit their behavior because of the existence of rape. A lot of women are living in fear because of it. Objectifying the women’s bodies, cat-calling, getting grope, sexual jokes, sexual assault are one of the things that women and men are experiencing this nowadays. Many people are blaming the victims instead of teaching men not to rape. They tell us that women must not wear revealing clothes, women must speak for themselves, women must not associate with men, women must know their limitations. Wherein fact that it is not the fault of the victim if she/he is raped. Because of that, a lot of women and men are traumatized because of the rape culture. They are afraid to speak up because of what society is telling us. It gives a negative impact to the victims.

WE MUST NOT:

- Blame the victim

- Make sexual jokes/rape jokes

- Objectify the women and men’s bodies

- Cat-calling

- Blame the victims clothes

- Trivializing sexual assault

- Stop tolerating your friends if she/he raped someone

We must end this rape culture because it is not good for our society that some people are blaming the victim instead of blaming the rapist. We must imprint in our brains that rape exists because of the rapist not because of someone's clothing. If she/he says no it means no.

Now that we are living in the 21st century where advanced technologies and gadgets are made, we are able to learn things more and cope up to the things that we need to know in the future. the importance of media and information literate individual makes us more responsible for the future. Because of media, we are able to gather informations that might serve us a new knowledge. and also, there’s  a lot of social media platform where you can look for a various of informations and news. We should also be wise on looking and checking for the informations and news  to avoid several problems like fake news, plagiarism, copyright and many more. Everytime I see such words or phrases in my feed, I can already sense that another scandal is circulating online. It's very disturbing since MOST of it are women's nudes or scandals and the one that's spreading it are men whom they trusted THE MOST.

IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW. Scary and alarming at the same time how one single post can ruin one's life permanently. And why is this all happening? Lust? Jealousy? Obessession? Hatred? No matter what the reason, it all sums up upon destroying such reputation of a human being. This campaign advocates everyone to help each other on ending this kind of act. Women or men should stop leaking private VIDEOS or PICTURES of another person WITHOUT CONSENT and if that media is only INTENDED FOR HIM/HER. It's not only degrading to the person within it but it also invades his/her privacy.

If you're one of those who "shares the link" even if you're not the on who posted it, you are still considered as one of the people who VIOLATES THE LAW RA. 9995 or the Data Privacy Act. Imagine being in their shoes? What would you feel? ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND, don't do unto others what you don't want to do unto you. APPLY THE GOLDEN RULE, it helps a lot.

Freedom of expression is a right that includes the power to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers. Although we have freedom of expression, we still have a duty and to behave responsibly to respect other people's rights. There is always a limitation or restriction in expressing our thoughts and opinions to protect public safety, people's rights and reputation, and especially our health and morals as it can help us in preventing disorder or crime and revealing of any information. 

What are the offensive contents?

Also, being a media literate means be ready to create media messages and to use the technology tools available to us. like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google , etc. And for that, we will say what we are able to say or do what we would like to try or to do using those platforms.
