Oh, but what a height it was to fall from.

When he plummeted, he felt the wind whistle past his damaged ears. It was frightening, but in a way, exhilarating. He was in control here. He made this choice.

And when his body impacted the water, he screamed, water threatening to flood his lungs before the pain took him first. But he fought, he struggled. He was going to live, and if he had to, he was going to make it everyone’s problem.

He was going to fight and show the world he at least was worth something. He was worth something. He broke the surface of the water, the icy air gripping his lungs.

and so we have reached our main character, A!Tommy from AHTFF!

“Tommy.” He saw the tears in her mismatched eyes and shifted nervously, watching her touch his face and smile. “Tommy you’re here.” She laughed softly. “I wasn’t expecting to see you…if you know what I mean.” She was almost exactly like the Puffy at home, it was just her eyes. One was hazel, and the other was blue.

“Well…it's complicated, innit?” He gave her a lopsided smile, and she couldn’t help but gently squish his cheeks.

I tacked Q + BBH on this because there is no mention of them in the fic or dialogue for them. BBH is my favorite design tho hngh, Maybe its cuz i love demons so much.

I never really settled on Puffy's design, i hope you like it tho!

Though, now that he was cradling his son’s body to him, wings around the two…he felt his eyes sting. He had to take a deep breath and hold it in for now, though. He didn’t want to be let down if this was all a dream, and he wanted to stay strong for Techno. But god, seeing his little boy so hurt yet so alive really had him close to tears.

“Tommy?” He spoke quietly, as if he spoke too loudly they’d shatter. “Can you hear me? Give me a sign if you can.” To be honest, he didn’t know what he was expecting. Nothing, really. Tommy had been so unresponsive so far…

Nothing prepared him enough to see the unfocused, grey eyes that attempted to open. Phil knew better than to take it as a sign, but his eyes watered up regardless. “Tommy, It’s okay, we’ll help you through this. Whatever’s happened, we’re all here for you.”

It was a strangely quiet interaction for Tommy, who was used to being loud and boisterous at every possible moment. As he held the scrawny thing in his arms though, he found himself not wanting to scare him. The clothes the little guy was wearing, it also looked familiar. It seemed like the piglin thought the same thing, because he reached up to gently tug on the green hanky around Tommy’s neck as if in awe. “Hey…hey now, that is important to me,” Tommy quietly chided, gently pulling his little hooves off of it.

Looks like mine!

Tommy paused, looking confused. What had he…no. Tubbo had said this kid barely spoke, let alone English. “Tubbo from my world gave me this ages ago…it means a lot to me, lil’ shit.” While Tubbo looked unamused at the nickname, it soon melted away as his son started giggling and patting Tommy’s face again. They were getting along, and honestly Tubbo was surprised at how easily Tommy took on a big brother role, but pleasantly so.

“TOMMY?” Tubbo all but shouted, Bee wings on his back starting to go abuzz with flutters. “TOMMY! TOMMY!” Tubbo launched himself at the taller male and started laughing and hugging him, Tommy looking over Tubbo’s shoulder at Techno in shock.

“IT’S SO GOOD TO SEE YOU BIG MAN!!” Tubbo pulled back, all smiles. No disappointment. The wings were new, but he was too focused on the fact Tubbo was happy to see him. And…his scars! He didn’t have any!

“Hey Tommy!” Ranboo opened the door and smiled widely, tail immediately lifting into a wag. “How are you??” The puppy-like behavior made Tommy cringe, and it wasn’t very long before he was trying to squirm away from the slender teen’s hugs.

“Ra-Ranboo! I’m fine! C’mon man—get off me!” Tommy sighed and basically rag-dolled, letting the man nuzzle him and bring him inside like he weighed nothing. He lifted Tommy up like he was holding a fucking plushy to Tubbo, who was poorly covering a smirk and trying to conceal a laugh.

“Hey, big man. Did you lose the battle?” Tubbo reached up to help Tommy get free from Ranboo’s claws. “You look like an angry cat when you let him handle you like that.”

I don't actually have much for him, so i added two really early design sketches i was tinkering with for him before AHTFF. Ranboo!

It was nice to have a few minutes to just breathe, drink tea and listen to the fire. Luckily, Phil had set up a wall around the camp at some point that prevented any monsters from getting close enough to hurt them, but some did hang around the outside.

The ones that caught his attention were these slow, transparent creatures that Phil called ‘angels’, but said their official title was ‘Light Walkers’. They were neutral mobs, and emitted a little bit of light from white, glowing-red shards hovering inside their lanky bodies. They reminded him of superheated metal, and he wondered if they might burn like lava. Their heads were like flames and he could see their bones. They were even more silent than creepers, but sometimes they would emit a crack, almost like a firecracker but more quiet, maybe more like wet firewood.

In a very unsettling way, they were kinda pretty. Mostly creepy though; especially because he’d never seen them before. He found himself glad there weren’t many of them.

Tommy looked back to the other, tail flicking behind him in thought. He returned the smile. “Yeah. See you around, green boy.”

Dream chuckled, watching as the pair went on their way as a wisp of blue smoke drifted away from his lips.

‘Even though he’s not our Tommy, he’s a lot like him, huh?’

“Yeah…he is.”

 “You look like you’re having a rough time,” George addressed, letting out a deep sigh and taking in the other’s state. This guy looked more like a ghost than any living being George had ever seen. It was haunting, like he’d never been human at all. “Your family is worried. I assume you dug in here to look for Tommy?”

i don't know if anyone i know writes fanfics except one person, and i also don't have a lot of fics to give an example for...however, i'll give what i can cuz this sounded fun to do. Plus, maybe you'll see a few things you haven't seen yet!!

so i guess i tag any authors who follow me or see this. @foxyyaoguai is the only one i know personally, don't feel pressured tho!

man this list gives me a bad reputation for finishing things, i just haven't done many fanfictions in my life (i usually write original stuff)

“Oi, brat.” Eren sighed quite verbally from where he was laying, looking up at the tree above him shortly after his eyes cracked open. - Hey Brat (AOT/Attack on Titan fanfic, coincidentally the first fic i ever started to attempt writing. Ereri i believe. incomplete/not finishing)

Tight breaths were ragged in Tommy’s chest, his own screams covering the sound of bruised knuckles slamming against the two fighters’ bodies. - AHTFF/A Height to Fall From (Minecraft, Tommyinnit centric / SBI, sorta a fantasty/timeline hop AU...never posted it and its unfinished...should i post it anyway sometime? i wrote a lot for this one and it has a full outline for 3 fics & 2 epilogues. i also drew a bunch of designs for them...seems like it'd be a shame to let it rot.)
