Hallo all!

I figured I should stay by introducing myself and my goal here:

I'm Frog, a crochet artist. I've been crocheting for about 10 years now, mostly freehand.

I kept running across very obvious AI crochet projects and I couldn't help but think: "jeez, if someone is newer to crochet, they may well buy this pattern."

Thus, this Tumblr.

I wanted to create real plushies and patterns for the AI ones that are being sold and distribute them for free.

If you come across an AI image and would like an actual pattern for it, please feel free to submit the image and I'll do what I can to create it for you!

Please do keep in mind, there will be differences between the AI plush and the human version, most of the time for logic or aesthetic purposes. These aren't always 1 to 1, but I will try to keep the original spirit and general look of the original!!!

Also! Please keep in mind that I am a left handed crocheter!

The Human Mind is Truly Remarkable

We live in an age obsessed with machines artificial intelligence, robots, algorithms, and self-driving cars. And yet, every so often, something as simple as tossing your phone in the air reminds you: that nothing mankind has created comes close to the brilliance of the human brain.

Earlier today, while chatting with a mate on the phone, I found myself instinctively throwing my iPhone in the air and catching it. Over and over. Absent-mindedly. Without even thinking about it.

And then it hit me: How the hell is my brain doing this?

I wasn’t consciously focusing on catching the phone. I wasn’t calculating trajectory or distance. I wasn’t telling my fingers when to close or where to move. I was having a conversation and yet, somehow, another part of me was tracking a moving object in space, adjusting my hand’s position in real-time, compensating for motion, light, gravity, and muscle tension. All without conscious effort.

Let me tell you something: that’s not normal. At least, it shouldn't be. It’s not something we should take for granted. It’s miraculous.

A Symphony of Silent Genius

Your brain is a conductor and your body is the orchestra. Just to perform this simple task (tossing and catching a phone), dozens of brain regions coordinate perfectly:

The motor cortex activates your muscles.

The cerebellum controls timing, precision, and balance.

The visual cortex tracks the phone’s arc.

The dorsal stream predicts where the phone will land.

Proprioception (your sixth sense) tells you where your hand is in space.

Reflexes make tiny last-second adjustments.

And the best part? You don’t have to think about any of it.

You're running two separate but perfectly synchronized processes one verbal (talking to your friend) and one physical (catching your phone). And both are happening seamlessly. Your brain is splitting tasks, assigning them to different areas, prioritizing efficiently, and updating inputs constantly. That’s not just multitasking that’s a level of organic processing power no AI system has ever come close to.

We Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

As a Christian, this sort of thing only deepens my awe. You could spend your entire life studying neuroscience and still not touch the depths of how the mind works. The way the brain governs the body silently, precisely, and with effortless grace speaks of something far greater than random chance or chemical coincidence. It’s design, not chaos. Order, not noise.

And while Big Tech wants us all to marvel at the “latest breakthrough” in silicon intelligence, perhaps we ought to spend a bit more time being blown away by the carbon-based intelligence sitting between our ears.

Your mind is not just remarkable it’s sacred.

So next time you find yourself tossing your phone, catching a mug without spilling the tea, or typing a text while crossing the road without getting flattened just pause. Marvel. Respect the machinery you’ve been gifted.

Consciousness requires sense of self and sense of community, of peers, subordinates, and superiors. AI has no peers, no community to sense.

"No man is an island." No "conscious entity" is an island. Consciousness requires sense of more than sense of "self." Even a dog has more sense than just "sense of self." Even an ant or a bumblebee can distinguish friend and foe, food and danger.

The Self already representd the sense of "Totality".

The "Self" is a transcendent principle—a spark of the Eternal.

The modern individual, enslaved by the transient, mistakes the persona (mask) for true being.

The authentic "Self" belongs to the higher order—beyond time, beyond democratic dissolution.

Only he who shatters the illusion of the contingent "I" ascends the vertical path.

The term "magic" must be clarified, as its modern distortions—particularly in Anglo-Saxon circles, where it is reduced to techniques for acquiring "personal magnetism" or "success in life"—have obscured its higher meaning. While traditional magic sometimes involved lower, quasi-technical applications of non-physical forces, it would be a mistake to restrict it to this level. Such a limited view reflects a narrow mentality, unaware of magic’s deeper significance.

The true meaning of magic is rooted in ancient Aryan traditions. The Persian Magi, for example, were not mere practitioners of vulgar magic but initiates connected to the God of Light. The term itself derives from an Indo-European root related to power (mögen in German). Even Christianity, despite its hostility toward magic, retained the term Magi for the three exalted figures who honored Christ’s birth—symbolizing initiatic dignity rather than superstition.

In the Hermetic tradition, magic was synonymous with the restoration of primordial power. Cesare della Riviera, in Il mondo magico de gli eroi, identified magic with the heroic path—a means of reintegrating with the divine center. This aligns with the initiatic goal of reclaiming the original, regal state of being.

Magic, in its highest form, must be distinguished from theurgy, which involves evoking divine apparitions and falls closer to ceremonial magic. True magic is an experimental science of the spirit, distinct from mysticism or mediumistic passivity. It embodies spiritual virility—the dominant superiority of the initiate, reflecting the ancient regal tradition rather than the priestly one.

Historically, two traditions existed: the regal and the priestly. The regal tradition, embodied by divine kingship (as in Egypt, Persia, Rome, and the Far East), was superior, representing direct spiritual authority. The priestly tradition, by contrast, mediated between man and the divine. Catholicism’s appropriation of the pontifex maximus title—originally a regal dignity—was a usurpation. Magic, as an expression of spiritual mastery, aligns with the regal initiatic path, evident in Hermeticism’s "Royal Art" and the Rosicrucian "Imperator."
