the thing is if adam and lawrence were women but everything else going on with them were the same i Would probably be into chainshipping but the reason for that isn't really anything inherent to the characters but just because if they were women the worst fandom people would probably dodge them to find a way to yaoi like zepp and david saw 0.5 instead or something (and continue to ignore tapp and sing for clear reasons but i digress) and i would be allowed to think about their potential as people who would never ever get on in any other scenario bonding in a life or death situation a la how i am with lynnmanda. but in this reality they're men and i've seen too many people who think adam and lawrence could sustain like a long term healthy relationship after lawrence tried to kill adam and left him in the shit room and now i don't like chainshipping at all. sorry! i really don't think adam would forgive that! my personal opinion is that while it really wasn't at all about adam specifically just gripping a man as he bleeds out WAS a significant turning point in lawrence's psyche and now he makes brad and chad or whatever those guys from the misogyny trap in saw 3d were called jack each other off so they can take turns cuddling him like that one girl on twitter

delighted that i'm so much more fond of chuuya at this point than i was just a couple years ago. it took the stormbringer play, the cannibalism play, and the fifteen manga (still haven't gotten to those two novels in their entirety, I Will Soon I Promise), it took 6ish+ years, but i can confidently say I Get It Now. i think i like him best in the 2016 series but from the adaptations i watched he looks the most accurate in bondarchuk’s movie (i hate this movie) although great comet did irreversible damage to my brain and i confused him with anatole the first time i watched it… i was like: wait a minute this is weird why is anatole the one doing the bet?🤨🤨 i mean it IS how tolstoy intended him to look like but i just don’t like it and i have personal beef with bondarchuk like whyyyyy does he make them all look so old why!!!!!!! and why he decided to make the guy that plays dolokhov dye his hair when he could have cast someone with blonde hair instead!!!! it looks so bad!!!

i think i watched too little adaptations to have a valid opinion on this (i’m gonna watch all of them someday🔥🔥) but i like the bbc 2016 dolokhov best. he looks mischievous hot and pathetic at the same time which makes him perfect and couldn’t care less about what tolstoy has to say about it!

tolstoy is inconsistent in it too he makes him a little scandinavian boy and then proceeds to talk about how his wrists are hairy which is IMPOSSIBLE because if he’s blonde and can’t even grow a moustache why are his wrists hairy all of a sudden?? why ONLY the wrists??? it doesn’t make sense! and i know what im talking about since i look like a little scandinavian boy too (my wrists are nothing like that!)
